I was hesitant for a while, but I had read reviews about Sell My Shares and they were positive, so I listed my shares with Sell my Shares on 16 June ‘26 and the same night I had an email to tell me that my shares were sold…and I hadn’t asked for an express sale! The process was simple, except that I had to do a few minutes research to find my drivers licence card number, which is different to the licence number.
Communication from Sell My Shares was exceptional. I received emails to inform me that my application was received, to tell me of the data I needed to send to verify my bank account and finally to tell me that my shares were sold… and all of this in one day! I am so glad that I decided to use this service. Many thanks to the team for their clear directions and great results. My payment was due in my account after 3 days, but arrived on 18th June, 1 day early.

Easy fast and reliable. First time user.

Turn around was quicker than expected with money in my account within 2 business days.
I needed to complete a fair amount of online verification which is understandable and the 1% fee could be considered on the high side compared with using your own trading account but certainly acceptable if without one. Would recommend only for lower end trades though say <$20K otherwise you could be up for a significant fee. Overall very happy with the outcome here.

Online process was simple and I.d. info worked first time.
I had tried Computershare who held my Medibank Shares. Their process for verifying identity requires 2 from 3 - Drivers licence , Passport , Medicare Card.
I entered the details extremely carefully and it flagged failed . You are then locked out for 24 hrs. Tried again using different ident docs and failed again. Phoned them up but of course they can’t tell you why you failed. So a complete waste of 3 days.

Easy process to sell shares.
A little bit of a hassle for oldies trying to send PFD stuff but once successful we realise that it is great for security of funds transaction.
