Not a very good bank to work with. I have I have had a home loan with this company for 7 years, Iâve never had a late payment. I recently got laid off from work and Iâm in between jobs, and they wonât even do a payment deferment to help me out. They told me to wait till the payment was a couple days late to apply for a deferment just to say they donât offer them and then change me a 45 dollar late fee. This is a garbage bank with high aprâs. I will never use them AgainâŠ

I have a mortgage that was sold to Servbank. There was an issue with the phone app when I tried to set-up automatic payments and I was double charged. After 6 separate phone calls and call backs, I just hope now things will be resolved in the future. A simple refund should not have been this difficult. There is obviously a huge language barrier. They are lying about the previous calls, I was hung up on, I was given a check in the mail without my permission after telling me it was going to be an EFT to my personal checking, and I was told after multiple phone calls that my account wasnât paid even though it clear that it was. There is some serious issues going on receiving proper information about payments and not communicating them to other agents.

We had an insurance claim. We have a mortgage on the house with Servbank worth about 20% of the house. We have to sign the check from the insurance company and mail it to Servbank and they send us a check back, when they feel like it, so we can pay the repairmen. When I got this last check from the insurance company, I called Servbank to ask them where to send the check. They gave me the wrong address! Now, there is check floating around out there for 58k and the servbank people I spoke to today can't be bothered to find it. They want me to ask my insurance company to issue another check. What kind of irresponsible juveniles are you hiring? Are there any grown-ups who will say, "The buck stops here"?
Terrible at communicating - you will have to follow up for information that you require, multiple times. Poor closing procedures - this ties to their terrible communication.
A third party has since reached out to me as of July 2025 and I've asked them to confirm who they are prior to providing sensitive personal information. They have not responded.

The lady I spoke with today was Maria. She was helpful, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She was able to quickly answer my question and give me updated information about my mortgage. In the past I have spoken with Ramona, Valerie, Milan, Heather and a young man whose name escapes me. Everyone has been courteous, professional and friendly. I wish the process of getting a live person on the phone was easier and that setting up an account on the portal had been less complicated. I also wish you could get faster responses to requests. Every single thing seems to take 2 to 3 weeks and different people give different information about the same questions. While I give all the service representatives a 5, the company as a whole only gets a 1.
