Poor

Poor. Always very slow. Does not save data. Always requires card details even for run of the mill places.

Good restaurants or any restaurant which cares about its customers' experiences should avoid.

Don’t support restaurants who use this garbage

I never have issues when booking with other services such as Open Table but seven rooms is beyond impotent. Everything posted by other reviewers is spot on. I canceled my reservation at Catch specifically because they use this piece of crap reservations disservice. I will no longer book reservations at restaurants who use this company!

Truly terrible booking system

Truly terrible booking system! Tried to book table for 4 on Mr Fogg for cocktails. Tried to select the right time but their stupid, intrusive cookie settings kept popping up and blocking selection. When I finally got to entering my credit card details, I couldn't book because again the stupid cookie settings popped up together with details of how to book for larger groups, so couldn't click on 'book' which I assume was the next step, but couldn't see because it was blocked by all the other sh**t. No scrolling option so in the end didn't book. Mr Fogg have lost out on a booking for 4!

System doesn't work on safari

System doesn't work on safari - you are a booking platform - your ONLY function is to work for anyone trying to book!! I now actively AVOID restaurants who use seven rooms!

What an absolute peice of techie…

What an absolute peice of techie garbage!
I was charged for a restaurant unknown in the same city m, when i had booked at another location. Rookie stuff by a supposedly global platform. Not acceptable and after a nice evening to get billed snd then leave some nasty messages at the local office of SevenRooms, it left a bad taste in my mouth! To the credit of the other restaurant, they handled themselves well.
Calling is easy enough. I will never use this system again! Absolute garbage!!!

Seven Rooms refuses to send me emails…

Seven Rooms refuses to send me emails to confirm that I've booked restaurants. This is causing real problems considering that a fair % of London restaurants use Seven Rooms. I've complained to Seven Rooms and was told to deal with the restaurants instead. It's nothing to do with, or in the control of, the individual restaurants. Seven Rooms has refused to investigate. I am getting very frustrated by this. It seems very unfair. I've checked my email settings and there's no block on their emails my end.

Charged for cancellation when I DID NOT cancel booking!

I made a lunch reservation for 3 people via SevenRooms and had to enter my card details as there would be a charge if we didn't attend, which is fair enough. We did show up for our booking and had a lovely meal.
The next day I got an email from SevenRooms thanking me for letting them know I couldn't make it - even though I did no such thing. I then discovered that they had taken £105 from my bank account! They did not respond to my email where I explained that we didn't cancel and requested the return of my money, so I had to go back to the restaurant who apologised and arranged for me to be refunded. I asked the restaurant how this had happened and they said they didn't know but that this wasn't the first time. Pretty shoddy in my opinion. How many people might have been charged for a non-existent cancellation and didn't realise?

My experience with Sevenrooms is really unprofessional and terrible

My experience with Sevenrooms is really bad and unprofessional. My valid mobile number was detected as invalid when trying to book a table reservation in Lavo Singapore, which was using Sevenrooms technology.

Reported the incident to Sevenrooms and hoping the technical support team can solve the issue.

Unfortunately, not only unable to solve the problem which I thought wouldn't be so difficult, they feedback crappy excuses which was totally irrelevant.

If I am running a restaurant or cafe, I will not use them for sure. What a shame!

Huge time suck for nothing

Huge time suck. Tried 5x to make a booking. Never completes. Data fields don't even have labels. Doesn't take standard format for phone number. No response from Support.

Platform is inaccurate

Platform is inaccurate. Main problem is that whatever are the settings you decide there's no way to set up the customer not to book a table even 3 minutes before they arrive. So you always have very intelligent people booking a table literally outside the door and then demanding to seat when they have already been told the restaurant is full packed. Totally crap platform.

Personal data shared on the dark web

I don’t remember exactly what booking I made through SevenRooms but I have just taken out a new antivirus on my devices and discovered that my personal data has been shared on the dark web by this organisation. I know it’s a platform for hospitality and think it may have been after I have made a restaurant booking. Clearly a very shady organisation.

Embarrassingly bad service

How is this a professional program that people pay money for?
I've done multiple reservations and the site refuses to send me any confirmation emails. Even when it says it has sent them through.
If I try and book again at the same time, then it says that I've already booked but there is no way to actually log on to the website to see what my reservations actually are.
Everyone involved at this company should take a look at how much easier it is for the guests to use their competitors.

Terrible booking experience. This is not the first time. Repeated poor online experience. This requires multiple attempts at booking. We are not impressed with this booking software and will now look for restaurants not using this service
