We used Seventh Second for our wedding and had the best evening! The band Electric Jukebox was brilliant, set up went really smoothly and the guests absolutely loved bandaoke!

I was so overwhelmed researching the right band but Seventh Second took all that hardwork and made an easy to search website. It was a joy to run through SoundClips of each band and whittle it down to my favourite. It was so hard to choose but in the end I picked Total Session with Simon, Chris and Guillaume. Together they set the stage on fire! With many friends and family saying it was the best party they had ever been to. Thanks again, I can't wait for my next excuse to book with Seventh Second!!

Twilight Knights were fantastic for our wedding! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their sets! They also curated DJ sets based on our music choices. Their communication leading up to the wedding was really good and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great night. We would thoroughly recommend them for anyone else's special occasion!!

Seventh second were great in finding a band for our wedding at short notice for our summer wedding. Communication was timely and straightforward as was the booking system. I would recommend this agency.

What an incredible night - Electric Jukebox were amazing and the dancefloor was filled the entire night. Definitely a memorable night and so much fun seeing colleagues belting out hits on the stage with the band. Callum the lead singer had a great voice and the rest of the band were amazing also. I've had several requests for us to do another bandeoke evening.

Very professional, efficient and easy process to book the band we wanted. Would highly recommend so far.

We booked the Motown Boys for our wedding at Prestwold Hall, and they were nothing short of *incredible*!

They provided an acoustic set during the afternoon drinks reception, followed by a full band performance in the evening, and both were absolutely amazing.

Their versatility and extensive repertoire made planning the music a breeze. They were incredibly easy to work with, accommodating all of our requests, and delivered a performance that left our guests raving. Highly recommend them for any event!

I found the website via a blog post with advice on how much to pay for a wedding band which was also very helpful! The website was easy to navigate with plenty of detail on prospective bands and options to listen to them performing. Upon enquiring, Jon was in touch within 24 hours and the booking process was very quick and efficient. The band we booked have already reached out a year ahead of our wedding date, so we're looking forward to working with them.

Playback played at our wedding and they were brilliant. We had a couple of calls ahead to agree a playlist. They're a great band, and were fantastic too backing our friends singing. No fuss with setting up and packing up too. Thanks guys!

Jon was consistently quick at responding and was incredibly helpful throughout the process, answering all of our questions in a prompt and detailed manner. Would definitely recommend booking through Seventh Second.

This is a little mixed review, hence the 3 stars. Seventh Second themselves, were great, no issues there. We did have issues with the quality of the band however, and their talent management. We're still trying to discuss this with them, so i don't want to be too negative at this point. But SS were fine.

Unsure what is meant on the reply? The talent agency have been a shambles. They can't even arrange a call in good time or any time for that matter. We had a band member pull out the day before the wedding, which changed the whole sound. The band made nearly every sing more songs than they wanted to and hardly sang themselves. Oh and my personal details were sent out to hundreds of people to contact me for a band member replacement. If you commenting on those issues, then that absolutely has not been handled well or at all. We got an apology for having to provide our own entertainment and our own wedding! Shambles

The band, nor the talent agency did nothing to resolve my issues. Like speaking to a brick wall.

The agent was helpful and informative throughout the process, the band were professional kind, engaging and performed excellently

So me and my Partner wanted a band for a wedding, I signed up for League of Gentlemen Band but as the price of inflation has gone up, our venue needed more money for everything else as it's on their contract. I had to cancel the band, as they were the most costly at this point and could not remove anything else really.
We really wanted them and we felt bad doing so, but really had no choice.

But then the cancellation fee which is half the cost of your total purchase of the band etc but it says in the contract that’s for 6 months we canceled at 8 months in advance, "where it doesn’t matter its still half the cost", this really isn’t fair, especially when they benefit all that money, when nothing has happened yet, so its made me and my partner mental health and finances tight on the wedding along with everything else. So if you do decide to go for a band bear in mind the cancellation fee make sure you know if you afford it.

Absolutely loved the Usual Suspects - the band we booked through Seventh Second for our wedding. Would hugely recommend both the band and seventh second. Seventh second had lots of options of bands to choose from and with helpful demos to help us decide between them. Great experience, good value and would definitely recommend

Outstanding band. Booking and arrangements were smooth. We had such fun with people on the dance floor from first to last song.

We hired the band Paper Boats for our wedding. Excellent email comms and followed our plans and requests perfectly, from arriving early, adding in an acoustic set, to using their wireless mics and PA for speeches. Also chucked in a few requests for us and DJed after their 2 x 1 hour sets. Lots of great comments from guests and the folk vibe got everyone going. Thanks Paper Boats 🙏🏻

We contact Seventh Second to enquire about a band on their site. They responded quickly and have been a pleasure to work with throughout the booking process. Regular and fast communication, easy processes and would highly recommend! Excited for our selected band to play at our wedding later this year!

Wasn't sure about live music with the potential of pandemic related reschedules (we're on attempt number 3).

Had also left it late for reason above.

By the time I started I was on a couple of pages that said something like "Starting at £1,600..." and when the price came in it was closer to £4,000 with booking fees, transport, expenses etc.

I was starting to lose hope.

Then, I stumbled across Seventh Second and everything changed.

Firstly, the website actually gave me a great sense of the bands I was reviewing. Most had videos of them performing. Others had the audio. I was able to quickly make a "shortlist" by clicking a button on the ones I was interested in. Rocket science, it was not.

Then came crunch time, Jon reached out with the news that many of my selections were available. In addition to re-watching/re-listening to the clips, I was also able to review the song lists and numerous reviews from previous clients. I had an extremely good idea of what to expect from the bands I was choosing between.

Jon - a musician himself and founding member of the team - was at my side throughout the process. A phone call was instrumental (haha) at answering some of my questions as I'd never booked anything like this before.

Even the quotes were in a unified manner e.g. same set time, start/finish, everything included. It makes it so much easier that I was simply choosing between the band and then price vs also having to compare mitigating factors that would have caused unnecessary confusion.

Unsurprisingly, the day itself was a huge success. The band set the atmosphere into the evening and our guests continue to bring the experience up with us.

I don't intend on getting married again so won't need them for this specific purpose. I will find a way to use Seventh Second again and am recommending them to all of our friends with upcoming weddings.

Seventh Second are a shining example of what a vendor should be. Great job Jon and team.

Jon was great, he answered all my questions and provided lots of information about band timings, set run times etc. Email replies were very timely and informative. So useful as I've never hired a band before.
