Great fabric and service! I ordered one of the pieces of fabric in the sale, it's a lovely colour which matched the image on the website and lovely quality.

I’ve sewn a few sew over it patterns and like the clarity of the instructions and the fit of the garment. I really love their sewing kit sets, everything I need arrives promptly and I especially love that their sewing kits include printed instructions so I can have some truly screen free time. They also include the pdfs so I can make again.

For the first time I was disappointed by a SOI pattern. Bust darts in the Nicole dress pattern don't make any sense to me.

I love to bag a bargain so I took advantage of a recent pattern clearance opportunity to buy a couple of patterns from SewOverIt that I had my eye on. Very pleased to receive them quicker than expected and looking forward to making use of them. Always on trend, practical with easy to understand instructions.

Kit arrived speedily with everything needed to immediately start making the pattern. Lovely pattern with clear instructions and support.

I was pleased to be able to obtain printed paper copies of the instructions and printed AO pattern sheets, for 2 of the styles from a SOI "City Break" e-book I own, plus a good stock of buttons for my sewing stash. I have already been bought the patterns concerned, which you need to have done first, and you need to quote the original order number so as to obtain extra copies on printed sheets. I wanted an extra printed copy because I didn't want to cut into the original ones I bought. I also hate reading sewing instructions on my phone; it times out frequently and it's too small to read easily. I don't have an efficient laptop or tablet.
I also like to make notes on paper patterns if I am hacking them in any way, and I'm not able to do this on my phone. For me, the introduction of digital patterns for dressmaking is hugely negative, and if possible I will always obtain paper patterns for the things I want to make.
The other thing is that I'm not too happy (or confident) about taping lots of A4 sheets together or tracing extra copies on to baking parchment, as this doesn't take marks very well, and the printing at home adds quite a bit to the cost of the pattern. I don't have any large tracing paper, so I decided to order an extra copy of the "Molly" Top & Dress and the "Mia" jeans, from Sew Over It, and just cut into those copies to get my size. I have the full "City Break" Capsule Wardrobe collection, which was bought for me as a gift last Christmas. Included in that purchase were printed copies of the 5 patterns in the pack. However, I just wanted to try the "Molly" Top and the "Mia" jeans first, but didn't want to cut up the gifted pattern sheets. Having an extra copy means I can still keep the originals I was bought, in case my size changes, or I want to make them for somebody else in future.
As always, everything arrived in perfect condition, and in an attractive brown paper envelope, which I can re-use. At present, it is housing a half-sewn shirt I am making for my other half. I was very happy to receive my items - Thank you, Sew Over It team!

I have always had trouble making swimsuits that fit right using the size that the measurements prescribe. The Zahra Bikini fits great on both the top and bottom without making a bunch of adjustments.

Patterns great quality as usual. Excellent quick and friendly communication from SOI as I’d forgotten to order an instruction booklet with the printed pattern.

Lots of options to choose from on stitch school but I find it very hard to navigate. Additionally, motivation to find something means that I do not make the most of it. The videos I have watched to update my skills have been helpful so far.
