Very nice guys
Very nice guys, helpful, respond quickly and generally quite pleasant to interact with. Most items are perhaps a bit overpriced but definitely make the Gaggia a much better machine. Avoid the overpriced and silly Water Level Float and Digital Milk Thermometer. Also, because GB is better than everyone else, be prepared to pay the brutal VAT for those not living there. If you're going to order from them I'd advise waiting and getting all your items in one order to avoid extra fees

Thanks for the review Michael - we use the float with our slim drip trays all the time (they don't work with standard drip trays) and many customers tell us that they love them and tell us to include them with every tray! Similarly we find the digital milk thermometer great, mainly as it beeps when you're at temperature but it's also very accurate and responsive.
Nice products, nice people!
Everything went really well! When I had problems, they helped me!

Pressure Gauge Kit
Ordered the Pressure Gauge Kit from Shades of Coffee. Kit shipped from UK to Canada using the postal system in 7 days from initial order. Kit worked well, and installed without any problems. Although you need small hands to work in the confined space of the Gaggia Classic machine.

The products are amazing
The products are amazing, I ordered 2 portafilters and a Steam Wand Knob and thei look exceptionally. They came very well packeged as to preserve their shine.
The order was quickly ahipped, arrived very fast and in very good condition.
I am very pleased. I will definitely order more Gaggia parts in the future.

Issue with product… don’t care
I am really disappointed in the lack of communication from Shades of coffee. I purchased a seal kit and a shower head for my Gaggia classic. I have purchased these from elsewhere before and never had an issue, however the group gasket from this kit would not fit. I have emailed 4 times about this issue and still no answer. I have since purchased exactly the same seal from another supplier and it fits perfectly. I feel like they know it’s an issue and are ignoring me! Just disappointing as I’ve tried to support what I perceive as a small UK business only to get treated worse than I would by large corporate Amazon!

Hi Dave - this is deeply concerning; as we’ve sent you two replies to your two emails that you’ve sent us. Both were within a few minutes of your initial email (one on Friday 26th and the other on Monday 29th). The second one referring to the first reply, and simply saying “We replied to your query on Friday - did you not see this?”. So we can only assume that either they’re going to a different email addesss to the one you’re checking or they’re ending up in your junk / spam folder… but please check. Concerning the group gaskets - there’s absolutely no issue with any of the Gaggia group gaskets that we sell, but there can be issues in getting them to fully seat within the group - and this is the information that we sent to you in our email replies. Hopefully this helps. If you can’t find any of our email replies then please reach out to us on our webchat and we’ll gladly send you copies of them and give you the full response interactively there.

After 2 hours my question was still unanswered.
If you cannot respond please remove the chat box.
And of course i did not make the purchase (89€).

I’m sorry you perceived our pre-sales support to be poor. Having reviewed the logs from our chat system I can see that our agent was sending replies back to you though you didn’t seem to be receiving them; possibly due to network issues (as you are in Greece and we are in the U.K. then this is always possible); hence the system then sends the messages as email / so you will probably find that you have the responses as emails now.
Supper happy customer
I was so suprised to receive the parts I ordered for my Gaggia classic so quickly. This is the second time i got some parts from Shades Coffee. Both occasions I had excellent service from the.
Sometimes it takes longer time to get things from Australian suppliers.
In short, I am super happy with Shades Coffee

Great shop
Incredibly quick delivery, great range of products! Product looks and feels great.
I got the bottomless portafilter - fits perfectly into the machine and matches the existing handle. Will probably be using them going forwards to upgrade my coffee machine.
