Detect mode does not seem very effective, needs to be in boost mode to pick up cat hair from our rugs - but then the battery doesn't last very long at all. Need a second battery but £99 is a disgusting price for such a small battery pack. Dirt illumination light is excellent though.

I really wouldn't give this company any stars after having a serious accident when my blender cup exploded, after plastic surgery needing over 100 stitches inside and out i contacted the company they asked for the machine to be returned for inspection .Then came back with there was nothing wrong with the machine. Obviously machine parts dont explode without reason .But they were unwilling/uninterested to find that reason even when I asked if it could have been the fact the cup had never been changed in the two years or so since purchase I was shut down and told they wanted no further contact.
Outstanding Service!
I must say, I have experienced fantastic customer service form Shark! I made a comment on a Facebook post about how lovely my 5 year old hoover has been until recently when it started playing up.
They reached out to me via messenger and provided troubleshooting support specific to my hoover specifications. While the troubleshooting did not work (very clear instructions provided on this, super easy to follow) they then offered additional support via a trained support team member.
My partner and I decided to replace the part of the hoover that was being troublesome via their website and it arrived within 24 hours (fabulous timing!)
Our hoover now works splendid again.
I am very pleased with the support provided, the friendly correspondence, the extra support offered and the lovely and speedy delivery of the new part.

Problem with my Shark Vacuum Cleaner under guarantee was sorted extremely quickly. Completed the online form Sunday yesterday morning and the part was delivered the next morning. Vacuum Cleaner working as new. I am so impressed with the efficient service they provided.
Really poor customer service
I ordered a cordless vacuum cleaner from Shark on 15 February. my order was confirmed, my credit card debited and an hour later my order was cancelled. No reason given.
I called Customer Service and after a lengthy wait the operative absolutely refused to tell me why the order had been cancelled. I now have to wait up to five working days for a refund.
I will never order from this company again.
Pointless Customer service Ninja 14/15 in
Owner of Ninja 14 and 15 in 1 Multi cooker respectively. Not cheap units, in the Ninja range. Totally understandably, my units are out of warranty, but have developed "Common " faults. After lengthy back and forth with emails to Customer service, asking for some troubleshooting/help for a remedy/spare part purchase, quite a blunt response. These units retail for £320 plus, but are most common with the faults, as viewed on various forums. If these faults are well documented, why don't Ninja address these issues, or offer a longer warranty. Definitely double think before another costly purchase from this brand, with the manufacturer views nothing more than a 'Throw away' Purchase !
Top notch after care
Super impressed with Shark Ninjaâs after care and wanted to give credit where it is due.
Weâve had a vacuum cleaner that my wife bought directly from them for about 3-4 years. It developed a fault, we did some troubleshooting and it was a call the manufacturer job. We called Shark Ninja and without us being able to even find the order number they found our order, listened to the problem and immediately agreed that the part needed replacing and that while we hadnât registered, foolishly, for the extended warranty we were automatically covered as we bought from them direct.
The part was shipped and arrived the next day - super impressive considering we called at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon!!

The best aftercare service ever!
I would buy SharkNinja products just for their aftercare service, it's fantastic and way better than Dyson! We had a fault with our Shark cordless vacuum, phoned Shark, the service agent was so helpful, their process worked seamlessly, courier arranged, product returned and replaced by a brand new cordless vacuum in a week.
No fuss, no hassle, just brilliant after sales service. Unlike the issues we've had with Dyson - the WORSE aftercare it's been my misfortune to experience.

Three weeks after ordering a supposedly in-stock snorkelling mask set and it still has not been driven and no shipping update in the last two weeks.

Poor customer sevicesâŠ
I purchased 2 airpurifier but despite measuring I was surprised by the size. They were too big. I ordered the smaller version which is perfect and returned the bigger ones within a day of receiving. 22 days later despite contacting customer services several times they had not refunded my money. I contacted customer services again asking to raise a complaint and was advised they would respond in 24 -48 hours. This happened twice and weeks later they have never made contact. I also spoke to 2 advisors who both advised they would phone me back and neither have done despite the reassurances they provided.
Whilst I like the product I would recommend buying in a shop because at the minimum you would get you money back in a few day. Customer services provide no services. Promise they will fix the issue and get rid of you.
Powerdetect vacuum is ok, SharkNinja is shambolic
I ordered a powerdetect cordless vacuum cleaner in October to replace a different shark cordless that was just old and not working properly. Ordering was easy off their site, it arrived by courier well packaged about a week later. The vacuum itself is fine, makes a bit of a funny aeroplane type noise when it detects whether youâre vacuuming floor or carpet but does a better job at lifting dog hair and dirt than the old one so Iâm happy. I had ordered a second battery and charger as well as found the old one needed 2 batteries to get around the whole house (the new oneâs battery capacity is much better) I didnât need the second charger so went to return. SharkNinja site makes you fill in a return request form and they supposedly get in touch to organise the return. Filled this in 3 times and nobody got back to me. Ended up having to email their customer service, waited around for a couple of days for them to send it to the correct department. Eventually had to organise a courier pick up date as they werenât able to give me a return label, so meant hanging around the house on a day off. They received the return and refunded me the whole amount that I paid for the vacuum and all. Iâm an honest person and contacted them to tell them, this again went into the melting pot of customer service emails, when eventually about a week later they asked me to repay them into a Bank of America account. I have done this but overall it has been shambolic and Iâm not sure I would order from them again. Just stay with uk based retailers is the way forward I think.
Edit: I have now had this vacuum for a few months. It's actually terrible. It doesn't lift dirt from edges I so have to go back round everywhere with the brush attachment. It seems to push dirt forward on hard floors so i have to lift the vacuum up and place it on top of the things I want lifted. It clogs up quite easily and the filters seem to block up weekly meaning the suction disappears to nothing. I am very disappointed an actually am going back to a corded vacuum as I'm fed up with the poor quality of cordless

The handle on my frying pan came loose. I was provided with an alternative replacement within a week. Absolutely brilliant service. Plus, the replacement had automatically been registered by the company. Completely hassle-free.

Expensive and should do what it says.
Paid for the shark turbo blade which is expensive for a fan but we really wanted a good one that had a remote control so we didn't have to get out of bed. It was great for 3 months and then the remote wouldn't work unless you were right next to it. Did all the recommended checks and nothing resolved it so contacted shark. They said they'd send me a replacement remote out but it was out of stock so I had to send the whole unit back. After going to the hassle of not being to find a box at first, we then got it packed off back to them. The new one arrived pretty quickly which is why this isn't a 1 star. Set the new one up and guess what? Exactly the same! So the only way we can use it is if the remote stays on the top of it. Not good at all. I've paid £20 for normal fans and they've done what they are supposed to do. It even says on box it will work across room--- no way. I do believe some reviews online where they say theirs does, but after having to send one back because it doesn't and then receiving another exactly the same, seriously not happy. Not good, Shark and yet till this I was praising the quality of your electrical appliances.
Air Fryer : 2 Years then you need to chuck it out
Foodi 9 in 1 - air fryer, pressure cooker and lots of other things. Expensive but supposed to be the best on the market. Two years (and a bit) on and one aspect conks out. It is completely unrepairable, unserviceable. And out of warranty. I searched youtube and it is just not designed to be fixed. So after 2 years, you much chuck out a massive electronic product into landfill.. I would make that illegal. Customer service was helpful and offered a discount on a new one but fundamentally this is a terrible product - possibly designed not to last.

I ordered an expensive drinking bottle from Shark (£31.49) The package was left outside my house a few days later.
When I retrieved the package later that day, I noticed it was open at one end.
Unfortunately, there was nothing in the package.
I contacted Shark about this straight away. After a few days, they said 'it's been delivered'. They are not willing to help me at all. They just said 'contact your bank for a refund'. WHY should I have to contact my bank?!
This is disgusting customer service from Shark. I have spent a lot of money on their products, 3 vacuums, 2 air fryers...... and I am treated like this.

Awful ordering system and no help from Customer Services
I ordered a vacuum cleaner on line inputting my current address for delivery and billing. I paid via PayPal which has the same details as does my bank. I later noticed that the order confirmation email from Shark carried my former address for both delivery and billing but I was outside the half hour only given to cancel (it seems likely that the Shark Ninja system somehow picked up delivery and billing details from a previous order). I contacted Shark and have to say that the customer service was awful, the individuals were pleasant enough but clearly stuck with a system which is totally unhelpful. They were unable to amend, cancel or redirect the order and it was then down to me to ask the courier to redirect once they had confirmed receipt of instructions, but they couldn't help either; no one to speak to and I couldn't redirect on line because the delivery depot was not in my current area. So now I have to wait until delivery is attempted and hope the current property owners reject the parcel so I should get a refund eventually. This isn't the first time this has happened with an on line retailer, but really, is this the best they can do in terms of ordering systems and customer service? ð¡
