My son loves them no more constantly messing about with the old style shinpads readjusting them was so annoying for him whilst playing a game shindefender is a game changer.

Ordered on Sept. 14th and regret my decision after I noticed that they're being shipped from China! 11 days later and I get a bizarre message when I look up tracking. It says the following:
"The package associated with this tracking number was found to bear counterfeit postage and is now considered Postal Service property under
USPS regulations and will not be
delivered. You are encouraged to contact the sender/merchant and/or your credit card company, as applicable, to seek a refund or other available recourse." Like WTF!!

Love the shin guards. I got them for half the team, and I think everybody really likes them. Ordering was a little rough, once you choose 3, each extra one over that reverts back to the more expensive price until you hit 3 again. And customer support wouldn’t help. So I had to order 6 instead of 5. Anyway, besides that and the time to ship, which isn’t very quick, everything was great. They shipped a wrong size, and then promptly fixed it when I emailed them. Fantastic product.

Title: A Complete Disappointment — Save Your Money

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt I had to with this product. I purchased the ShinDefender expecting quality protection, comfort, and durability. Unfortunately, it failed on every level, and I honestly regret spending the money.

Protection:
The entire point of shin guards is to provide support and reduce impact, and this product simply doesn’t deliver. Impacts still hurt just as much, which makes them practically useless. After trying them in real conditions, it was clear there’s very little real padding or shock absorption.

Comfort & Fit:
The fit is awkward and uncomfortable. It was difficult to get them on and off, and once they were on, they didn’t stay in place securely. For something marketed as “lightweight and supportive,” I was extremely underwhelmed. If anything, they made movement more distracting than helpful.

Durability:
After a single wash, the material started to come apart. The padding shifted and lost its shape, leaving me with something that didn’t even look or feel the same. A product this fragile has no business being advertised as performance gear.

Shipping & Customer Service:
The shipping experience was just as bad as the product itself. I paid for priority shipping, which was supposed to be faster, but the delivery still took much longer than advertised. Trying to get help from customer service was frustrating — responses were slow, and getting any kind of refund or resolution was a hassle. Some people even reported never receiving their order at all, and I believe it.

Value for Money:
This is not a cheap product, but it feels cheap in every sense. After doing some digging, I found that nearly identical shin guards are being sold elsewhere for a fraction of the price. It’s hard not to feel like the entire thing is just marked up marketing.

Other Reviews Agree:
After my experience, I went back and checked other reviews online. Many customers reported the exact same issues: long shipping delays, poor quality, and terrible customer service. A few people said they liked them, but those reviews seem to be the exception, not the rule. The majority are negative, and now I see why.

Conclusion:
ShinDefender is nothing more than a waste of money. It doesn’t protect, it doesn’t last, and it doesn’t live up to the marketing hype. If you’re looking for shin guards that actually support you, I strongly recommend skipping this brand and buying from a trusted company instead. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

We love the product as the fit is top notch. Also if you have any issue at all with size the customer service team is excellent.

Definitely don't bother paying for the "priority" delivery.....10 days later and my order still hasn't even arrived with the courier! I was promised they would look into the delay but nothing has come of that. Took my money quick enough though!

Great product. We hand wash and let them air dry. They stay where they should. Shipping took longer than expected but pleased with the purchase.

Ordered on 30/8 and still not received. Contacted customer service and Nikki said she’d track and get back to me. Never heard back and still no order. SCAM!

Whilst the product is good, delivery is terrible. Pointless paying for faster delivery. One week, and still waiting. Second time ordering - outgrowing the first pair. Had hoped the delivery delays were a one-off, but it seems to be their normal. They even ask for "patience"!

Wish I checked trustpilot before ordering! Purchased items in August and still no sign of them. Order status ‘shipped’ Evri is still ‘expecting’ the items. Avoid at all costs !

I believe this to be a scam. Item ordered 2 weeks ago and no change to order status since. You try tracking it and the status remains “preparing to ship”.

I contacted customer services who are slow to respond. When they did reply they also simply told me it was preparing to ship. When I requested they cancel & refund they replied quickly to say that’s not possible as the items have been shipped.

Avoid at all costs.

Terrible service. Ordered 24/7/25, arrived 9/9/25. Kept being fobbed off saying order was 'in transit'. I asked for a refund multiple times and was never given one. Eventually another order was raised and this took over 3 weeks to arrive. Awful stressful experience as was a gift for my son's birthday. Would not recommend this company and would never buy from them again.

Drop shipping from China but does not state that anywhere. Don’t get back to you, even tried to contact via Instagram.
Found much better quality with another company and they arrived in 3 days.

The despatched was a bit slow however, at the end turned all pretty well. My son loves them 💙. Good quality in both products (griping socks and shinpads). I will definitely buy again.

Really long shipping!
Ordered this product spent $70 for two shindefender guards purchased on 8/1/2025. I have NOT received the product it is now 9/1/2025! One month for shipping is crazy! Reached out to their support team twice who said it is at local office and should be delivered soon! Asked twice - where are the shin guards? We had to purchase different shin guards since our son’s soccer starts this week. Very disappointed, asked for refund and no response- would NOT recommend this product based on shipping and customer service experience.

I find it disingenuous that they neglect to mention that they're a Chinese company anywhere on their site, as if they're hiding that fact. I read some reviews only after purchase, and minutes later decided to cancel my order. Their customer rep (based in a different hemisphere given the response times) said they were working on canceling, and after a week of correspondence, said my order has already shipped and cannot be canceled, even though the link provided shows it's still processing and not in transit. They've now stopped responding to my emails and it's unclear if the order will actually be shipped, but I already disputed this charge with my bank. Lesson learned.

I ordered 3 shin guards and 2 ankle guards for my 6- and 11-year-olds. Shipping took forever, and once they arrived, my kids couldn’t even get them on or off without my help—and they hated how uncomfortable they felt. That’s fine, not every product works for everyone. But when I asked for a refund the SAME day it was delivered, I’ve now been stuck in a week-long back-and-forth (5 emails) with them refusing a full refund. Instead, they keep pushing me to keep the product with “offers” of 35%, 50%, now 75% off. My kids will not use these, and I don’t want to keep them.
Buyers in the USA beware: if it doesn’t fit or you don’t like it, getting your money back is nearly impossible.
