I got a call from shine.com saying that they have multiple services for job openings if I pay Rs.3300 and after paying it, they said it is just enrollment and remaining services at extra cost...And they talk very rude and according to me , shine.com is a cheating for job searchers....DO NOT EVEN subscribe or pay any money to them.

I had taken out a warranty for scratches and scuffs, when their chap turned up he identified one indentation by moving his hand over one of the four minor scratches (even though it was not apparent to the eye). He then said he would not address any of the scratches even though he could not find anything wrong with them. I can see little or no benefit in taking out a warranty with this company.

Shine.com is a fraud plateform, pls don't involve anyone in their any kind of logical conversation, it was trap ...trap..trap..

I am extremely disappointed with the unethical and unprofessional conduct I have faced from your representatives. I trusted Shine.com as a reputed job portal, but my experience has been nothing less than harassment and fraud.
1. False Assurances: Your representative Ms. Priyanka and Shine team clearly told me that I only had to pay one-time charges, and no further payments would be required. Based on this assurance, I made the payment.
2. Unethical Demands: After receiving my money, your team is now demanding an additional ₹7,000 for “profile analysis”, which was never disclosed earlier.
3. Rude Behaviour: When I raised my concern, my assigned Relationship Manager behaved rudely, instead of resolving my issue. As a paying customer, I deserve respect and transparency.
4. Loss of Trust: This is clear misrepresentation, cheating, and harassment of customers. I feel completely cheated and mentally stressed by this experience.

I demand the following immediately:
• A written apology from my Relationship Manager for their rude and unprofessional behaviour.
• A full refund of the amount I have already paid, since the service terms were misrepresented to me.
• Assurance in writing that no further demands for money will be made.

If my concerns are not resolved within 7 days, I will be forced to escalate this matter by:
• Filing an official complaint with the Consumer Protection Authority.
• Submitting a grievance to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs (NCH portal).
• Posting my detailed experience on Google Reviews, LinkedIn, social media, and other job-seeker communities to warn others.

I trusted Shine.com but the way I have been treated is unacceptable. I urge you to take strict action and resolve this matter on priority.

Shine.com is a good job portal,so much relevance database provided both IT &Non IT profile.

I have been trying to get in touch since yesterday regarding the services I paid for, but have not been able to reach anyone. The personal number provided by my RM (0124-6096111) is not reachable, and no one is answering the other contact numbers (+91 80-68914148 & 0124-6096137).

This lack of response is extremely concerning, especially since I have already paid INR 3,300 for services that have not been delivered. As per the initial commitment, I was assured of:
• Resume enhancement with ATS-friendly keywords
• Assistance with job shortlisting and references

However, none of these services have been provided yet. Instead, I am repeatedly being asked to pay an additional INR 4,500 for “government verification.” I could not find any reference to such a requirement on your website or any official government portal. This comes across as highly unprofessional and misleading.

Please make a negative rating chart also because giving them 1 star is alot to us.
I am here writing review for the people who spend their hard-earned money by thinking they are investing for their future. If you are really serious about your future, stay away from this platform as they will only make a fool of you by saying that they provide the best services and assure to make you future. Guys, for God’s sake, do not fall into their “Shiny” trap because they will try their best to manipulate you in such a way that you will begin to think about the future and further pay them for making it better. However, you will end up with the worst because after getting the money the won’t even recognise you.
Step by step, I was mis leaded into paying for services in multiple tranches:
• First, I paid ₹3,300 for their so called “Resume Booster.”
• Later, after discussions with a so-called relationship manager, I was convinced to pay ₹6,000 and then ₹13,000 for other services.
• Soon after, I received another request for ₹16,000, for which I totally refused.
When I told them I had already lost money, they politely explained that I was “investing in my skills.” But in reality, I had no clarity on what skills or real value I was gaining.
I then reached to their good for nothing customer care for the refund. A complaint was logged, and I also wrote multiple emails to their respective accounts. In the follow-up call, I was told:
• Refunds are not possible as per their “no refund policy.”
• Instead, they would activate the services for which I had already paid for. Still, I convinced myself to opt those services as it was my right. However, in the name of their services, they literally provided the 2 min slide show kinda things to watch just like we used to watch during our school times. I was really really pissed off.
• When I mentioned going to government authorities like NCH or the Cyber Cell, they acted so casual and said it was my right to do so like I am not the first one they are dealing with for such case.
• Finally, they offered me their “EXCLUSIVE” good for nothing “resume builder” service worth just ₹199 for FREE FREE FREE! like they are doing a charity to me. Bro, I have paid you for approx. 115x higher amount already.
At such point, I realized how I had been misled and became another victim of their business. It was more painful because this money represents hard work and serves bread to me and my family.
I have accepted this as an expensive lesson that cost me ₹23,000. But I strongly believe that to stop such unethical practices, we must spread awareness on social media so fewer people fall into this trap and to people, Stop wasting your money on these cheapsters.

I have observed that they keep demanding money repeatedly. Once you make a payment, they ask for more. Therefore, based on my personal experience, I would advise everyone not to engage with shine.com and avoid making any payments.
