I had a very frustrating experience with Ship Canada. We reached out to ship a large box—something that is routinely handled by other logistics companies without issue. Initially, they sent a quote fairly quickly, but from that point on, everything went downhill.

The communication became increasingly difficult, and dealing with their office was extremely frustrating. The logistics coordinator in particular was rude and completely unhelpful. Rather than working with us to find a solution, they showed no interest in accommodating the shipment.

The box in question granted was about 180 lbs—something we regularly ship and receive with other carriers. Despite this, they insisted it wasn’t shippable and ultimately told us to go elsewhere. After wasting three days going back and forth, we were left with no solution and a lot of lost time.

If ship canada was looking at ways to improve, my feedback would be,
Customer service training for your logistics coorindators
Look at adding value, being rude and unhelpful to a customer ensures they never come back a second time, even if you were not able to ship the item, perhaps you could make recommendations for them to how they could - you are a shipping coordinator therefore people look to you as an expert in your industry, you didnt convey that in this situation at all, a customer will always come back if you were unable to provide a service but offered killer customer service, this experience ensured that I will never return.

For customers looking for large freight options in Canada I would strongly recommend looking at other companies like Fastfrate, ACE Couriers, or DelGate Logistics instead of wasting your time and money with Ship Canada.
