Scammers they added my song to there playlist without my consent

My song was added twice this month already by the same scammers in their playlist, the first time was when they were known as 'shoudz' and the second time was just a few days ago under their new name.
Once again my song was added without my consent or knowledge. I do not approve of this.
I’d like to remind anyone who is tempted to use services like these that they are violating Spotify’s Terms of Service.
Affected songs are at risk of getting removed from Spotify.
DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES AND REPORT THEM, THEY ARE A THREAT TO SMALL ARTISTS.

Shong.live might not be perfect,?!? but the REAL scandal is how Spotify handles it.

Yes, many artists have had their songs removed because of so-called “artificial streaming” linked to Shong.live playlists. I am one of them. I some how??? end up on their lists frequently??? why??? I have never even seen their website nor have I paid them a single cent!!!

But let’s be honest:

1️⃣ If these playlists are so “harmful,” why are they STILL on Spotify?
2️⃣ Why does Spotify itself have identical playlist models but won’t ban their own?
3️⃣ Artists who unknowingly end up on these lists are punished without proof, while Spotify profits from the very same system.

Many people here are mad at Shong.live,ME TO! but wake up: Spotify is the real problem. They want the control. They want the revenue. And they don’t care about independent artists getting crushed along the way.

If you’re going to be angry, be angry at BOTH. Because this is a rigged game, and the house always wins.

Shong.Live put one of my songs on their playlist without my knowledge. I suddenly had 100's of new streams and followers for a new song. I found them under the "Playlist" function on Spotify Artist. Have also reported to Spotify and Distrokid. They want musicians to pay them for fake streams, but your music will be taken down. Check your "Playlist" status to see if any song are on playlists you don't recognize.

Our song was removed from Spotify because it was added to two SHONG playlists. Before that we had a great amount of streams from other playlists that were legitimate. We have and had no connection to SHONG, but we lost all of our streams. If your song is on one of their playlists, immediately contact Spotify so your song is not removed. This is a scam and young ambitious artists pay the price! After a week of reporting these playlists Spotify removed them, but the harm is already done!

AWARE! Got randomly added to their Spotify Playlist SHONG.LIVE - SPRING MIX like so many others and got every song removed due to AI listening/bots.

Thought the playlist add was coming from "Pitch a song to Spotify" function in Spotify for artists.

Ruining our adventure as new artists on Spotify!!!

My song was recently added to a shong.live spring mix playlist on Spotify without my knowledge. It seemed like authentic plays due to streaming in multiple countries and an increase in followers as well as saves. However, DistroKid alerted me that the song has been removed from Spotify due to artificial streaming activity. I have reported the playlist to Spotify and opened up a complaint with DistroKid. I hope I can get the song back onto Spotify with my legit stats intact. Watch out for this type of activity, especially since they are adding songs without the artist's knowledge.

This marketing company specializes in fake Spotify engagement.

They lure artists like us, by adding one of our tracks to a giant playlist, and then unleashing thousands of bots to pretend to listen to that track. So you see the bump in your listener stats, you spot their playlist, you look them up and then purchase one of their fake engagement packages.

Spotify can and will ban you for that.

Do NOT engage with this company.

Scammers who randomly add songs to playlists making you think your streams have increased but it's really bots. Presumably this is to make you buy a campaign package from their website. Report them to Spotify.

Scam/bot playlist. I thought i had a little bit of luck and got some genuine streams and interest but no, got randomly added to a bot playlist. Reported them. Heartless scammers.

After arguing with Musosoup I noticed a spike in my Spotify plays. I figured it was a bit because the plays are random all over the world. I found out today I was put on their playlist. I did not ask for this playlist or did I pay anything. Trust me I’m not going to pay anything for fake plays.

Update: July 21 2025 (Warning)

This playlist added another one of my songs again under a different name this time. I found out through instagram that Shong is now Serty with the “Over Neon” playlist. I used a playlist checker through Submithub and it says this is a definite botted playlist. Don’t get excited about your numbers if these people add one of your songs they are all fake. Like I said this is the second times these people attacked one of my songs and this could possibly get my song removed. I reported it to Spotify immediately.

Yesterday, I noticed that my streams on one of my songs suddenly increased, as well as my followers; however, I started to believe these streams were not legitimate, so I've researched and found a Reddit post where other users claimed to be added to one of their Spotify playlists, "SHONG.LIVE - SPRING MIX", which is where I ended up being added. I've reported such playlist and informed my distributor, Ditto Music, through their CS chat so they can be informed about it and avoid deleting my song released with them, thinking I was involved into artificial streaming; again, I didn't purchase any playlist promotion package, I got suddenly added to the aforementioned playlist along with the other Reddit users afraid of getting their/my music taken down because of this malicious company.

I investigated a suspicious domain Shong live and uncovered the following details:
Registered Address: Kalkofnsvegur 2, Reykjavik, 101, Iceland
Phone Number: +354 421 2434

This address and phone number have been linked to fraudulent activities, including scams and phishing schemes.

If you come across websites or companies associated with these details, avoid engaging with them.

🔒 Stay cautious and protect yourself from potential scams. Spread the word!

My music was randomly added by this playlist, even though I have never interacted with this service before. At first, I thought I had gained legitimate subscribers when I received a Spotify notification, until I saw that it was all due to a fake playlist. In addition to affecting my real stats, this is also harmful to my account because I now have to alert my distro and Spotify that these streams are not legitimate, so they don't freeze my account/remove my songs.

This service is a TOTAL SCAM! Do NOT fall for this trap! If you give money to this fraud, you’ll lose your music, and Spotify will BAN your account. You’ll also face issues with your distributor because this scam violates Spotify’s policies and is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL.

Protect your music, your career, and your reputation. Stay far away from this fake service, and report this scammer to Spotify and everywhere else. Let’s stop this con artist from ruining more careers. Spread the word!
