Fraudulent Company Alert
We first began looking at purchasing a compressor from SimbaEquipment.net in September 2025. After reviewing the product, exploring alternatives and confirming specs with Simba directly over the phone, we proceeded with the purchase in November 2025. Credit card details were provided at checkout, but the card was not charged at the time, which we understood to be standard pending shipment. Between January and March 2026, Simba provided multiple shifting delivery dates, citing delays related to international shipping and tariffs. In February after the first missed delivery date, they issued a 10% discount due to the delays and confirmed shipping for 3/17. With delivery set, Simba provided a final payment link via PayPal which we completed via credit card on 3/11/2026. On March 17, the date of expected delivery, several red flags emerged as we dug deeper: Simba could not provide shipping or carrier details, their listed business address appears to be a virtual office, and we found a page on the compressor's manufacturer's official website stating SimbaEquipment.net is not an authorized distributor. A representative of the manufacturer indicated Simbaâs pricing was significantly below market norms. Nonetheless, Simba assured us (over the phone) that the delivery was only delayed and would be arriving the following day, 3/18, and that we would receive a phone call in the morning to confirm a 2-hour delivery window. On 3/18, no such phone call was received and no delivery was made. Starting on 3/18, our attempts to contact Simba are going directly to voicemail when using the phone number previously used for all communication. They have made no effort to reach out regarding the status of delivery. Given the combination of delayed payment processing, inconsistent delivery timelines, lack of verifiable shipping information, questionable legitimacy, and loss of communication, this situation is highly likely to involve fraud or non-delivery risk.
