Forwarding works well but 2FA unreliable

The service is very useful. But it frequently fails to recognise the security keys that I set up for 2FA, whereas other services on the same computer do not.

Great service with attention to students. I love them. Thank you.

This is one of the most useful and effective app I have ever had the pleasure to discover. A week ago, I placed an order with a company. They sent me three emails confirming my order in a number of different ways (one with an invoice, one thanking me, and one with an order confirmation). Then they sent me an email when they shipped the order, then the carrier service sent me one as well. The company AND the carrier service decided to keep me equally informed even though I subscribed to none of these updates/emails. One where I have a tracking number would be sufficient. But that's asking for too much it seems. Because once I get the order, I not only get an email from the company thanking me again, but then I get a @)(*#(@*# email from a survey company asking me for my opinion, and the company also decided to subscribe me to their marketing email.

19 emails. Plus the ones that I am certain are coming, no matter how many times I "UNSUBSCRIBE."

In come SimpleLogin. I order, and disable the alias. The carrier sends me an email. I now have a shipping link. Email stays disabled. I get the product. I delete the email.

Aah. All is good.

I find it very easy to create new aliases, and emails come through without any issues. I love the fact that I can use custom domains, plus I love the subdomain feature!!! I’m thinking about getting rid of my own domains, and just use their subdomains

I problemi principali sono due:

le email inviate da questo tipo di indirizzi (tramite il reverse reply) molto spesso finiscono nello spam

CI sono alcuni siti web (come Discord) che bloccano o sospendono gli account che utilizzano come alias Simplelogin, perchè viene associato a spammer

In generale, consiglio l'utilizzo solo per account che siete disposti a perdere

SimpleLogin works well and the pricing is great, especially if you email support for their student discount. I love how SimpleLogin automatically enrolls your aliases for HaveIBeenPwned alerts, so we don't have to do this ourselves. Only thing that needs improvement would be emails ending up in spam folder. This great for most users. I would recommend it for everyone except high-target individuals (Journalists, activists) since SimpleLogin is owned by ProtonMail which has been compelled to collect the IP address of its users via court orders in the past.

Everything was fine until I noticed this week that my account had been terminated. When I queried this they claimed I had breached their terms of service. I have repeatedly asked for evidence of this or details of what breach could have occurred. They refuse to provide any details or evidence at all. To find my account terminated without any warning or bringing any issues to my attention is alarming and does not inspire confidence at all. I now have a load of websites that I cannot log into and have to create new accounts for. The whole point of this service is to have a unique login for each website you visit. It speaks volumes to their lack of ability to run a company professionally the way they have handled this situation. Very disappointed.

Wanted to separate my Proton account from my login (I had a login before I connected Proton with SimpleLogin) and when I did that they completely (WITH NO WARNING) wiped all of my emails. And this was a PREMIUM account. When I wrote to ask for them to reinstate all of the emails (I cannot do it on my own because the second half of the email address - before the @ sign - is auto generated) they said it was my fault that everything got deleted and they refused to help me. I have been using the free version of BurnerMail for 5 years and this has never happened.
Now I have to go into my all of my online accounts that I signed up to with SimpleLogin and change all of those emails, which is going to be enormously time consuming and may be impossible with sites that had SimpleLogin as a security email.
This all happened in 2 months and really messed me up.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
UPDATE: I contacted tech support again and they helped me reconnect with the aliases I had lost. It was a matter of having 2 accounts, which I felt might be a problem when I noticed a few weeks ago and why I disconnected Proton from my SimpleLogin account. I anticipated messiness and that is exactly what happened.
I did not expect such bad tech support from the first person assigned to my case. Igor helped me and fixed the problem so he was very good - the 2nd person to help me.
2 pieces of advice if you use this service:
Be very clear about your signup process if you are already using Proton, especially a paid Proton account.
If you can't get good tech support from one person, resubmit the ticket and keep doing so until you get a good person.
I raised the rating from 1 star to 4 stars because this has been resolved, but I was ready to spend the next 5 hours switching all the +50 accounts I created in SimpleLogin to Skiff if Igor had not written back or had given bad advice and that level fixing on my end cannot allow me to rate this service any higher. But I am going to continue to use the service, I think, and so this review a mild 'recommend' with a few caveats.

Customer support don’t reply inquiries, what’s the point of offering this service? being paid customer for quite a a time now, don’t know whether a new thing with the protonmail acquisition. better off with anonaddy.com

Been using SimpleLogin for a week and have experienced no issues. I installed the Chrome extension and it's astoundingly easy to create new aliases.
