A Silhouette rimless side-arm snapped off in late December. By default I would have gone to a local opticians to seek a repair, but shops were closed and in any case I now realise this would have been a waste of time.
By chance I came across simplespex on the internet. Sceptical at first, I was astounded how quickly George replied to my query, and for his excellent and money-saving advice.
I received my repaired glasses just a few days later. The 'copy' titanium side-arms to me are indistinguishable from the originals, and are just as comfortable.
Very impressed with the speed and quality of service!

I would like to say thank you to Geroge for his professional advice, help and service to fix my glasses. My glasses are alway sliding down from my nose and I snapped one of the hinges. George not only fitted in nose pad arms to stop my glasses sliding down from my nose, but also repaired my broken hinge of my glasses. He is very helpful. The service is speedy and I managed to get my glasses back before Christmas. Highly recommand to anyone who needs optical advices or service.

Used for the 2nd time & again the service was brilliant & I received my glasses back earlier than expected.

Thoroughly recommended - I used their reglazing service for ultra high index lenses and they were excellent. Fast turnaround (only took a few days) and very reasonably priced. Give George a call if you can't find what you want on the website - he is an absolute professional.

As long as SimpleSpex continues in business I can't imagine going anywhere else. This place SimplyAwesome.! Slightly wary when I first arrived at the somewhat unusual premises but as soon as I got chatting I realised I was probably in the right place. Outrageously efficient, friendly and fabulous! I was distraught when my glasses broke and Simplespex were my saviour.
The opticians said they were unfixable...but that was a lie. Simplespex blew me away with their skills, knowledge and speedy service. The glasses were fixed and returned within two days. I am blown away. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Wow what a fabulous glasses repair service. I broke my glasses last Friday. Posted them the same day, to Simplespex, on Next Day Delivery basis. The glasses were returned to me as good as new on Wednesday. Brilliant. Thank you Simplespex. Thought I was going to have to buy a new pair.

Got to say this is the quickest most efficient and customer friendly spectacle repair service I've ever had.

My spectacles travelled N England > Maidstone and return, repaired quicker and cheaper than my local opticians could quote.

I was looking for a place to install nose arms/pads onto acetate frames and found Simplespex. I'm always a bit apprehensive about sending glasses to companies, but I went ahead and did it. The process was straightforward. I sent my glasses in, and the WHOLE turnaround was 4 days. I'm so happy! I'm pretty impatient, and once I make a decision to buy something, I want it as soon as possible. I'm always doubtful, especially when there's manual work to be done, I usually expect a significant processing time. This was about as fast as it could possibly be; speed was 10/10, and the quality of work was 10/10. I will be raving to anyone I know who needs help with their glasses and will definitely be returning for future work!

Excellent service, very competitive pricing (all in including postage £33.70) to have hinges repaired on Viktor Rolf glasses. Specsavers quoted £85.00!! communication was very good, regular email updates, repair and shipping all completed within 4 days. George replied via a hand written note about repair to glasses. would highly recommend.

Excellent and highly recommend. I was limited with my spec options but saw they install Asia fit nose pads. Now had the glasses I wanted fit perfectly. I’ve had them repair under warranty and years later with no issues. Response and lead time is so efficient. Excellent service, George is fantastic! Thank you for all your help and I will continue to be a loyal customer because of it.

I'm really pleased with the service. George was extremely knowledgable and helpful. My beloved 15 year old wayfarers cracked along the top. Probably not heped by them being so old. Unfortunately they are not made of acrylic which would have allowed the perfect re-join but George proposed a different method, which isn't as perfect as you can get with acrylic but but I'm super happy with the result and over the moon to have my sunglasses back.

Standout customer service and great value for money, thanks so much George. I will be using Simplespex from now on for all our glasses needs. George was generous with his time to explain different lens to me, specific to my prescription, and I came away completely assured of his expertise. He repaired a broken hinge and replaced two frames with new lens. One of which was a Zeiss lens which was much cheaper than you would get from the high street or boutique opticians. The fair pricing is very much appreciated in this day and age and the customer service is also standout from what you would normally experience. Also incredibly fast turnaround (posted it Tues pm, received them back Sat am), I didn’t have to be without my glasses for long at all! I highly recommend George and his company and wish his business well as it deserves to flourish.

When I sat on my Ray-ban glasses and snapped off one of the legs at the hinge I was distraught. But Simplespex fixed them for a very fair price and turned the job around very quickly. To say I am delighted with the service is an understatement!

I sent a picture of broken hinge and George confirmed it was fixable. Sent the package by tracked delivery on Wednesday afternoon and was signing for a returned delivery on Saturday morning. Glasses as good as new, very pleased with this Company, I would recommend and use again to purchase new as good variety stocked.

As someone with a very complicated prescription, I was thrilled to find Simplespex! The team are so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. No question was too silly and they offered me excellent advice on the right sort of frames to go for to support my (very thick) lenses! Once the frames arrived, I was amazed at the attention to detail in ensuring that the measurements were just so! I have never had this kind of service from the usual high street opticians. I am a very happy customer!
