Ordered a set of furniture. So pleased with it, looks fantastic. Made even better by the brilliant delivery service!

Ordered the crushed glass fire place for my mum and I have to say … wow ! Quality is 10/10 but more to the point , customer service was 10/10 as well when I called asking about another order I made . Overall this is the only place where I’ve ordered crushed glass furniture that I’ve never had any problems. Thank you . Looking forward to receiving our dressing table !

from ordering to my furniture being delivered this is the 4th time we have purchased from Simply Home

I ordered a mirrored sideboard (came to £550) and the delivery date was pushed back 4 times. When the item finally arrived it was all smashed up so the delivery guys took it back. They spoke to someone, who I believe was the owner, who said they could send a replacement or refund me and I chose refund. I’ve spent the week trying to chase this and each time I email they ignore my refund request and offer me a replacement. I’ve sent three emails asking for a refund and they won’t process it which is what has led me to writing this review. They have the item back and have most likely claimed on insurance or received a refund from their supplier yet also want to keep my money! I could understand if they were just busy and slow to answer emails but it’s the fact they keep responding and purposely ignoring my refund request.

When I ordered from them I checked on here and there were no negative reviews, now 5% are negative and they are racking up. Luckily I paid with a credit card so if they don’t refund, I will chargeback. But it’s a shame they’ve made me go to these lengths. The supplier may have sent them the item damaged for all we know, yes it got delayed 4 times & I understand things happen. But trying to hold onto £550?! Purposefully ignoring my refund request for an item I don’t have?! Not acceptable.

Update: got my money back so added a star but wouldn't order again

First experience with this company, placed an order towards the end of April. Was given a delivery date, as this appointment got closer the date got pushed back and I recieved a second delivery date, Then as this got closer, I received a message to say there had been issues with the production of the mirror and it would again be pushed back slightly but would be worth the wait... bearing in mind there is no way to contact simply home other than email we decided to wait.
Delivery day finally came 29/06/23 (2 months after the order was placed) , started unwrapping the mirror only to find black marks all underneath the glass. Only unwrapped half the mirror before deciding we would send it back.
Sent a quick email to simply home asking for collection and a refund, they replied almost immediately asking if we would like to keep it and have a partial refund, or they could send a replacement? We obviously did not want this, and again asked if they could arrange collection and send a refund. We have had every email ignored since. They won't collect, and won't refund.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Edited on 22nd September 2023, The company finally collected the mirror 8 weeks after delivery, I was told a refund would be given. 2 weeks after collection I had to email in as no refund had been received at that point I was sent a refund receipt this was the 7th September, despite having received the refund receipt no money has been returned to my account, they have had my money now for almost 5 months, if I email in enquiring about the refund I just get a silly response telling me to wait a reasonable amount of time for the refund, reasonable, I think 5 months of them keeping my money is not reasonable at all.

I had a BEAUTIFUL dining table delivered yesterday it's soooo glamorous I love it and I'm gonna be ordering more items next couple of weeks the driver Craig came early and put the table together and he was great I'm made up.

I was nervous after making my order due to couple of the bad reviews on here, but I have received my beautiful fireplace! The original delivery date was changed to a further week so waited 2 weeks for delivery instead of 1 but not a problem it’s to be excepted with big deliveries. Delivery men were polite, bought it in and stayed to make sure it works. No complaints from me absolutely love it! Thank you simply home!

I got a diamond crushed drawer from them few months ago & pulled one of the drawers out in a silly way which caused the runner to break. Contacted them to see if a new runner can be sent out & they sent it straight away, not just one but 2 for both sides. Amazing after sales care.

I ordered a mirror from this company and was then contacted stating it was out of stock. I agreed to an alternative and we set a delivery date. The delivery was cancelled last minute by the company. They then gave me 5 additional dates when they assured me it would be delivered. The last date I was given was 27/5/23 where I was assured my senior management that my mirror will be with me that day and is worth the wait. On the day I heard nothing. I emailed the company and shortly afterwards received a call from someone claiming to be the delivery driver. They told me that the mirror is broken, they are very experienced in these types of damages and can hear that it is damaged so therefore there is no point delivering a faulty product. I have then emailed the company multiple times since (including the key word urgent) and have received no response. They have however found the time to update their Facebook page. As far as I’m concerned this is fraud. They accepted my money and appear to have had no intention to deliver my mirror. I have requested a full refund several times and have had no response. Avoid this company!

Update after the reply from Simply Home. At the time I posted this review I had not received a refund despite several requests for a refund. I then opened a case through my payment card and that is why I was refunded. I also at no point saw or received the item as you’ve stated so I have no idea if it was damaged as it was NEVER in my possession.

Believe it or not I ordered around 6 weeks ago and have not received my order as of yet due to my moving date being moved.

I can not thank Simply HomeUK enough!!! Their customer services and ability to remain so professional, yet understand has been truly amazing. I can’t wait to finally confirm a delivery date.

They have made a life long customer out of me. THANK YOU

Highly rate this company love my sideboard looks stunning and classy ! And the delivery driver Alan & Imani were excellent nothing was too much trouble ! So helpful And courteous! Will definitely use this company again couldn’t fault them ! Wendy Lewis

Imani & Alan. Were great in communicating what time they would arrive with my delivery. Also took time to find my building which wasn’t easy as its a new build. They also explained how I should set up my item.

I’d give 10 stars if I could.. what exceptional and superb service from the delivery drivers Michael and Omar! They were so professional from the word go and nothing was too much trouble. They loaded the cabinet into the house, took it out the packaging to make sure there was no damage and even took the rubbish away for us! You don’t usually come across nice chaps like these two but they were a credit to your business!

The cabinet itself is absolutely beautiful and looks stunning in our living room leaving such a statement!

Beautiful bedroom furniture kept well informed on my delivery and plenty of time for the delivery Craig and Mark were absolutely brilliant carried the both pieces upstairs for me unpacked them put the the way I wanted them took all the rubbish downstairs to thank you guys you were both amazing
