Lost between $320k upwards with these guys

We were advised that our SDA property would be valued at approximately $1 million upon completion. We were also informed that we would receive $24,000 in builder rebates, which have not been paid. The company has since entered liquidation.

We were told the home would be built in a location attractive to NDIS tenants, but to date, we have not received any tenant interest. The current market value of the property appears to be significantly lower than the original estimate, and we’ve been unable to sell due to lack of demand. This has placed our family home at serious financial risk.

It has come to our attention that individuals previously associated with Apollo are seen on another company's website. This company is advertising on Instagram and Facebook. Based on our experience, we would advise others to conduct thorough due diligence before engaging.

Additionally, we've heard from other investors that posting negative reviews on platforms like Trustpilot has resulted in legal threats alleging defamation. This raises concerns about the ability to share genuine experiences publicly.

Disappointed

Disappointed, they are happy to take your money, loan doesn’t get approved through your own broker. They won’t refund your money it must be done with their broker. I lost over $9500.

1. Our Role in the Project:
- Our team completed the required work in structuring your project, which is why we invoiced and received payment.
- The decision to withdraw from the project was made by you, not due to any failure on our part, and at that point, we even offered to cover the shortfall of the amount you were unable to recover from the builder as a goodwill gesture.
2. Misrepresentation of Risk & Process:
- You did not proceed with the build, meaning the success or failure of your project was never tested.
- Investment decisions inherently involve risk, and changing your mind about proceeding does not equate to misconduct on our part.
3. Tenant Acquisition & Market Demand:
- Tenant acquisition strategies begin at appropriate project stages, and while we provide support, market conditions and location-specific factors must be considered in any investment.
4. Communication & Contractual Clarity:
- We always encourage clients to review contracts carefully, as they outline the agreed terms.
- We provided all relevant details about the project, and we regret that your expectations may not have aligned with the contractual agreement.
5. Refunds & Legal Considerations:
- As stated in the contract, certain payments are non-refundable once services are rendered.
- The option to settle your build deposit refund was offered with a clear and fair resolution, yet it was declined.

We understand that investment decisions are significant and that changing your mind about a project can be disappointing. However, shifting the blame onto us for a decision that was yours to make is not fair or accurate.

Thank you so much for your feedback, there is definitely similarities with both yours and the other client you mentioned.

The property you were able to get through our services for under $800,000 would now cost about $1,100,000 to recreate so it is hard for us to recognise how that is not considered a success.

In relation to the ongoing tenancy of the property, considering that the property was only recently properly certified. We have fully tenanted two properties similar to yours within 3 months of certification.

Unfortunately, my experience with Apollo Investment fell short of the expectations I had and the standards I was hoping for. In January 2023, I reached out to Apollo Investment about a potential opportunity for NDIS investment. This decision was made after careful research and consideration of feedback from Trustpilot and other sources. On January 24th and 25th, 2023, I had the chance to have an initial consultation with Ryan Gordan, the client manager at Apollo Investment, who has a background as an investment consultant. His deep understanding was clear as he responded to all my questions about this specific type of investment with precision and depth. We returned for another follow-up appointment to evaluate how things are progressing. I was later introduced to Michael Maiolo, a senior lending strategist at The Melbourne Mortgage Company (TMMC). He offered me thorough support concerning my borrowing potential and ability, making sure I was fully aware of the pre-approval phase of the process. I was promised by Apollo Investment that I would get updates and support every step of the way, from beginning to end.
• First meeting – evaluation of current goals and financial positions (Conducted by Ryan Gordon, Apollo Investment)
• Follow-up consultations – Achieving a thorough grasp of my investment objectives and needs, thanks to Ryan Gordon from Apollo Investment.
• A thorough presentation of recommendations – a detailed look at the best investment choices tailored to fit my unique requirements.
• Financing approaches – The initial approval phase for the investment, which is managed by TMMC.
• Investment proposal – A detailed overview of the investment strategy, skilfully managed by AlfaFocus.
• Client Service Agreement – Formalising an agreement to outline the investment process (Facilitated by Tony Draper, Apollo Investment)
• The start of the project includes thorough planning and careful scheduling, skilfully managed by the knowledgeable team from former Dale Alcock Homes.
• Site Acquisition – The journey of obtaining the perfect location for the property, skilfully managed by Fraser Landing.
• The construction process is characterised by the careful assembly of the property, adhering closely to the NDIS standards and specifications, all expertly managed by Dale Alcock Homes.
Unfortunately, from February 2023 until January 2025, I have not had any communication from Apollo Investment. I felt it was necessary for me to reach out to the team I was referred to, this allowed me to manage and organise the entire NDIS construction process. I didn't receive any information regarding the next step. I found the customer service experience to be rather unsatisfactory. I contacted Apollo Investment multiple times, but unfortunately, I did not get any callbacks. After the NDIS has completed, Apollo Investment failed to congratulate me for an amazing milestone.

Thank you so much for your feedback, a big thank you for highlighting how great we did with the land acquisiton process and in appointed the correct builder and having the correct property designed and approved for you.

Also, congratulations on roughly $300,000 of capital growth you have realised in such a short time.

The team is very surprised you were not able to get in contact, considering we have a dedicated customer service team and the rest of the team is always contactable through our main line on (03) 9982 4477. In fact, we even have an additional service that answer when we were shut down over Christmas, this service is active all year so even if everyone is at lunch our clients phone calls are still answered.

In relation to the correspondence during the build process, even though all the updates by phone, email and through a specialised portal didn't specifically come from an Apollo email address it doesn't mean we were not driving this the whole way through, we thought this would be appreciated considering the project has been successfully delivered. If these updates during the process were not sufficient we apologise but if you ever wanted to get in touch, our team is just one phone call away.

There may have been an error in attempting contact with individuals that may not be with our company currently.

We welcome all feedback and take it on constructively, Im not sure the overall results of a successfully completed project with over $300,000 in capital growth warrants a 1-star review but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Glad we are with Apollo Investments

My partner and I have been looking into NDIS property companies for over a year now, but none really seemed to be a good fit for us—until my partner found Apollo Investments.

Having both worked in industries where excellent customer service is crucial, this was the biggest selling point for us, among other wonderful benefits such as referrals to a mortgage broker and accountant who specialize in the NDIS.

Our journey so far has been amazing. We've never felt left in the dark or had to follow up on things; each step is clearly laid out, and all the numbers are meticulously explained.

We cannot wait to start our next deal!

I cannot speak higher of Apollo. Apollo has taken such a personalised approach towards my SDA investment journey - providing advice, guidance, support and are always more than happy to speak with me regarding updates on my property, changing trends in the industry, and sharing the exciting moves they are making to stay ahead of the SDA investment industry. Apollo has tailored their service to suit my goals/ambitions and set up a success plan to ensure long term success with a focus on achieving my goal of high scale passive income.
