Joe’s service is always amazing. He communicates very well and the stones we order from him are always good quality and delivered quickly.

The layout of the website is intuitive and well thought out, easy to navigate. Communication is excellent and professional advise is given to make the right choices. It was pleasant dealing with Joe and my mind was set at ease. The courier and insurance on item helps put your mind at ease as well and the diamond is laser engraved and comes with certificate. I verified this and can recommend SJ Gems to anyone for awesome prices and stellar service.

I was looking for an engagement ring followed by wedding bands which seemed impossible given my circumstances. I had approached other diamond dealers/ jewellers / retailers. I was looking an engagement ring within a small time frame (3 weeks) and Joe helped alleviate any concerns i had.
Im from England and came to South Africa for a week and had the ring delivered during my stay.
Communication was great and the ring looked just as i had hoped.

My experience working with Joe Liebenberg was completely professional from beginning to end. Especially that the ring I ended up with was not what I thought it was going to be. He was good to his word, I returned the ring and he reimbursed me immediately. It gave me faith that there are still a few honest people out.

The ring was my design and I am clearly not good at visualising from a drawing.

Next time I order from Joe I will order one of his designs that I can see in his photos.

I recently purchased an engagement ring. From the selection of the diamonds to the design to the 3D model and finally the ring it as been a pleasant experience with clear lines of communication and expectations at every step of the way. Even when we had to render another 3D drawing, partly my fault. I also got the ring appraised and diamonds vetted against the certificates provided with an external gemologist - exteremly pleased with the valuation.

I provided my own stone and SJ Gems set it in a beautiful ring for me. When it was time to propose, the ring was too big for my fiancé. The good folks at SJ were happy to resize it for me, and I had it snugly on my fiancés finger within a week.
