Great price. Delivered fast.

I bought my first pair of speed skates. Skate Britain were super quick to answer my questions and delivery was earlier than expected which was a big bonus!

I placed an order (35241/070221/01) on 8th Feb, and have since then contacted this company multiple times thought different means with no reply received. It is now 26th Feb, the order is yet to be shipped and I have now moved house so the address needs to be changed, but as they have no responded to any email/FB messages I have no idea how I am going to get them to change this.

Great selection of products. As a newbie, the staff were very helpful and patient with all of my questions, even though they must be swamped at the moment! Good guidance provided. Prompt dispatch and fast refunds for items that don't fit/aren't suitable. Very happy and will be a returning customer! Thank you.

My first ordered pair arrived next day (even though I hadn't paid for next day). The skates felt a bit snug so I ordered one size up, which again arrived next day. I got prompt response about returning the first pair, and the refund arrived very quickly. Would definitely order with Skate Britain again!

Super happy with the skates! And really satisfied with the service. Once ordered, a confirmation came through and then a day or so later I received an email to let me know that there is a slight delay in the delivery due to the lovely Covid Sitch!

Good selection of roller skates and accessories and a fast international shipping (EU). The item arrived just when they told me and in a perfect state.

I contacted them to choose another skates I originally bought and everything went smooth. Quite helpful support team, they guided me through all the process that also was really quick and tried to help in every email. International deliver was also quite fast and I am now ejoying my new skates. I totally recommend skate britain. thank you guys!

I made an order back in mid-September. Although the website stated that there was free delivery on orders over £50 (and my order was), I was still charged for postage and packaging. I contacted Skate Britain through Facebook, who said they were unsure why this was, but that they would refund the P&P cost to me as I did spend over £50. I still not have been refunded the difference for the P&P costs.

DPD and Skate Britain both emailed to say that my package was going to be delivered on a certain day, but it did not arrive. DPD then sent an email the following day saying my package would be delivered, and this time it actually did arrive.

I emailed soon after I made my order as I was told that some elbow pads I had ordered were out of stock, but I could be upgraded to a more expensive model from the same brand at no extra cost. I was happy to upgrade, but I was confused when I opened the parcel to find the pads I had originally ordered were in the package. On its own this would have been okay (if a bit annoying) but the elbow pads arrived scuffed and had clearly been used prior to being returned by someone else. I emailed back and was told that I could received the upgraded pads (in a medium rather than a large) and the cost of postage would be covered for me, but upon checking my emails today when asked how to proceed, I was sent a link and told to use it to get 20% off the postage cost! Meaning the person who sent the email clearly hadn't read the thread of all the ongoing issues, increasing my frustration and having to wait for yet another email to try and get the issue resolved.

I have been emailing back and forth to try and resolve all of these issues, but I still feel like progress is slow and I'm not really anywhere close to getting it resolved a month and a half later.

The communication throughout the whole process has been pretty poor, saying I would be refunded but I am still waiting; saying they didn't have the pads and I would be upgraded but then receiving the original pads; to saying I can return my pads free of charge and then being told to use a link to pay.

I will definitely be avoiding Skate Britain in the future!

Update: Originally posted this review 20/10/20, eventually got refunded 19/12/20 for an order I made in September.

I recently ordered a skate tool which has been out of stock everywhere yet I managed to find one with skate Britain. Their service was quick and easy, I was very pleased how quick it arrived in the post.
I also have ordered some skates which are on a wait list, their team have informed me of this and I look forward to their arrival.
Great shop and great service.
