SkillPass helps small and medium businesses capture the knowledge of departing employees before it disappears. When a key employee hands in their notice, they take years of experience with them: which clients need special handling, which processes have undocumented exceptions, which decisions require context that took years to build. This tacit knowledge rarely ends up in a handover document, because most people do not know how to write one and do not realize what they actually know. SkillPass solves this with a simple, fully asynchronous process. The employer invites the departing employee by email. The employee describes their role in plain language and answers up to 30 AI-generated questions tailored specifically to their position and experience. The system then structures everything into a complete handover document for the successor, ready to download within days. No meetings required. No IT setup. No blank Word documents. The tool is designed for companies with 10 to 200 employees where knowledge tends to concentrate in specific people. It works particularly well when a long-tenured employee, a key account manager, or a technical specialist is leaving and their knowledge has never been formally documented. We take data privacy seriously. All data is stored on EU servers with 256-bit AES encryption and automatically deleted after 30 days. SkillPass is fully GDPR compliant and does not use your data for AI training. SkillPass does not replace ongoing knowledge management. It fills the gap that every other tool leaves open: the moment someone walks out the door.
