I unfortunately had to cancel my facial and peel and I was put on hold for so long that I had to hang up and call back in the morning. But then it was a same day cancellation and I was charged. I didn't complain or cause a fuss, but I did tell the woman on the phone what happened and got no apology or acknowledgment of the unfortunate situation.

Skin Spa Upper East Side is my favorite place to get facials! Eva is great throughout the whole entire process!! I highly recommend this location!

Great esthetiticians who made my experience comfortable and pleasant

My facial was awful! she barely steamed my face and when she did extractons i had red cut marks for 10 days afterward.

I love it!!! I have never ever received the facial I received on Wednesday October 4th. I believe her name is Bianca, She walked me through every step of the facial, let me know that my skin is oily and gave me wonderful advice on taking care of my face. When I left my face was so clean and beautiful. I will return.

Skin spa is great, I have been doing LHR with Candice and she has been providing great and fast services. I would definetly recommend.

I had a laser session with Brianna and it was horrible. From the moment she greeted me I knew she didn't want to do my service. When we got into the room she was very short with words and didn't seem interested. This was my first time seeing her and wanted to have a brief consultation so that she new what my issues were, she dismissed them all and even rolled her eyes at one point. She mentioned the color of my skin multiple times even turning down the light because of my skin color...I've been having laser treatments for a long time now so the light level has gradually gotten higher..not with her...she said she knew best... It was quite clear to me that she was racist and having a black client was not to her liking.
I asked her to stop and have someone else finish. Maria came in and finished and she was lovely!
At check out, I tried explaining all this to the manager, but he went on to defend her saying that he's never had any complaints against her before and usually all of her v=clients leave happy...I thought to myself, the must not be black because this girl is clearly racist. He even went on to tell me the story that she'd told him, saying I wanted her to go over a part that was a separate service...He then reprimanded me by saying, He's not sure why thats been happening, but if i anted neck, id have to pay for it. I told him that wasn't a problem...but it was clear that he was on her side. I left this spa crying and couldn't believe that I'd paid my money to be treated this way...Unbelievable!

Will never wax my legs in this place again. Terrible service

Masseuse was super friendly and courteous, and the deep tissue was okay (not that deep, but very relaxing). The only issue was the receptionist! She was exceptionally rude and also did not know how to give directions to find the office OR unlock the door downstairs. Even her instructions on how to find the bathroom were confusing. @Skin Spa, consider hiring a more competent receptionist because it leaves a bad taste in the customer's mouth and unfortunately influences tipping.

Love this place! Had one Brazilian here then I had to get the membership! Membership is a great deal too, I buy a customized facial then get a Brazilian for free

Very relaxing experience and professional, friendly staff.

Been going here for months. Great staff, always feel welcome. Eka is great. Recommend the peels and microdermabrasion. Very effective. Good prices and deals.

Erika was great. She was patient to answer all of my queries.

They changed management who changed their prices without telling anyone. Even if you booked a treatment at an old price they're not honoring it. Easy solution I will now go to my dermo and plastic surgeon who has stronger machines that work faster (and now) for the same price
