As fate would have it, I called in and the owner of the company y answered the phone. He actually stopped the large shipment for the day out of the warehouse in order to get mine on to deliver in time for funeral. He even upgraded the casket as it was available and in stock and it was beautiful. Even the funeral home was blown away by the quality, not to mention the savings. A+++++ interaction and so grateful that made a hard day a little easier.

Matthew and Shane are just absolutely amazing! We ordered a custom casket for my uncle who died in a freak accident and left a loving family and a whole community of bikers he created. He was truly a special guy. Matthew and Shane have been there for us. They are very responsive and will do what it takes to make the process of buying a loved one a casket so easy. I'm not kidding when I say I have contacted them MULTIPLE times making sure they get the casket exactly how my family and I imagine, and they have been so responsive to our questions and concerns with full support. We needed a casket that was just as special as my uncle, and my goodness they definitely delivered. I can't begin to iterate enough how amazing this company is.

The easiest of this decision at this difficult time. Pricing was good however I was also contacted by a guy named Mathew trying to get me to pay freight charges. I’ll be reporting to the better business bureau. When ending the call I was told my mom’s casket would be at the funeral home by its expected time. We shall see.

They were able to get the lime green casket that my husband wanted and were very understanding and easy to work with! The owner was a pleasure doing business with.

It was easy to order what I needed and pay for the purchase online. After that someone who seemed to be an employee called to try to scam me out of an additional $375 for freight fee to ship the casket from DC to New York. He called multiple times. He told me that the truck was leaving DC in 19 minutes and that all I had to do to ensure that I got the casket on time was to give him my credit card number, expiration date and security code. He sent me a text holding up 3 fingers next to a casket “to prove that he wasn’t a scammer”. I refused to give him any information and demanded a refund so that I could order the casket from Titan. At that point he said he would give me a military discount and waive the freight fee. My casket arrived at the funeral home the next day because I had already paid extra for next day delivery. The gentleman said his name was Matthew. I have his telephone number and the text message that he sent me. Fortunately I had the presence of mind to recognize a scam but at such a vulnerable time many people would have given him the information he requested. He was persistent and began to sound desperate. I don’t know how he got access to my order but that is something that has to be investigated and dealt with promptly. I plan to make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if I am not satisfied with your investigation.

The casket arrived at its destination in great condition. It took a little longer than expected but well before the funeral. The whole process was smooth and easy.

Matthew & Shane could not have been more helpful, kind and accommodating during this stressful time. They truly want to help and make the process of selecting and purchasing a casket for a loved one as cost effective and easy as possible. Please disregard the negative comments you have read about this company as I found this to be completely untrue.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!! Do not ever buy anything from here. The casket I received was a cheap piece of crap! On top of that, they called me trying to high-pressure me into paying 599 in overnight shipping, telling me that if i didn't pay, i wouldn't receive it on time. After I said no they were rude saying they were going to send me something different that we didn't even buy and basically threaten me if I didn't pay more saying "good luck receiving it on time". I was fine with the shipping i selected cause the funereal was for a later date, and i didn't need it overnight. I am already having a tough time losing my husband and my sister. Having to bury them and instead of being compassionate, they were trying to make more money, saying I have 10 minutes to make a decision or they wouldn't send me what I paid for. I have never been more horrified with this experience, and I urge others not to buy from here cause all they care about is making more money and pressuring you to make more money for something you already bought.

What freebies and shipping fees? We had to put a date of service because it wouldn't let me buy it without it and when we talked on the phone I said I didn't need it right away, and clearly stated we could wait the 10 days with no problem. If there were fees for shipping, then it should be stated and not say free shipping. The "free panel" was what we bought if it didn't come in what we bought. Why was it in the picture, description, and in the title. We didn't want to change the coffin you changed because you said I had to have the discounted one when we paid the higher end casket. On top of that, the CEO was very RUDE! There was no sympathy, and he cut me off multiple times.

Order casket on line. They was out stock. Contact me said would give me different one same price. But ended up costing me more then I had to buy a casket. It did arrive on time. Only thing disliked about casket lid was not together tight. There was gap between the two lids. To late to complain. Had to lay my father to rest

The casket was beautiful. Everyone commented on it. So glad the original order was out of stock. My husband always joke " just put him in a pine box " and it was great.

Having worked in the funeral industry for 3 years I understand the cost of caskets and burial plans both At-the-time-of-Need as well as Pre-Need. So, when my young son was very ill, my wife and I wanted a traditional burial and we needed a casket. I did not want to spend much time at the funeral home making casket selections and because I do understand the cost of a really nice casket so I reached out to Matthew at Sky Caskets after doing an online search. I called and talked to Matthew and we briefly went over prices and I purchased a beautiful casket for my son after having a couple conversations. Now, a year later my father-in-law is in hospice and we called Sky Caskets again and just like before we spoke with Matthew and he helped us choose a beautiful Walnut casket and we saved over $6,000 as compared to what the funeral home was charging. He even went above and beyond in both instances, so easy it took 10 minutes over the telephone and it brought such a peace of mind to our family and the quality of casket was amazing. Thank you so much Sky Caskets for being there to help our family in our time of need. We hope we will not need your services again too soon, but we know who to call when there is a need. I highly recommend Sky Caskets for your funeral planning.

Matthew was professional and top notch!!! Highly recommend this company. Their professionalism, kindness and compassion was exceptional. I would recommend them hands down! Don’t hesitate to order online as it was expedited and arrived on time.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. These guys are scamming people in regard to shipping charges. We ordered a casket and they charged us $895 additional after we had ordered the casket online and selected the free shipping because my sons funeral was in 3 weeks. When I questioned the additional charge Shane yelled at us on the phone and said, "what don't you understand, you have to pay shipping!!"
We paid it because they were holding the casket hostage, but when I found out that there are multiple other casket companies that do not charge shipping of any sort. Their website says, "you may be charged extra for shipping" but we didn't think this applied to us because we selected the free shipping on the website. FREE SHIPPING SHOULD MEAN FREE SHIPPING!!!
I ordered another casket which was exactly the same from their competitor for $400 less and had true free shipping and that casket was coming from the same place as Sky Casket was coming from.
My friends, stay far far away from these scammers. They are taking advantage of people during our most horrible times in our lives and they could give two cares less. They point to their website and how it says that you "may have to pay shipping charges."
I sent their casket back because it showed up in a plastic bag, not even in a cardboard box to have it shipped. It had scratches all over it and looked like the material inside was dingy looking. They're still Refusing to give me a refund, despite picking up their casket.

When you accidentally get the CEL on the phone because that's where it routed me miraculous things can happen. But when this company takes an order from anybody they do it like everyone is number one priority.
The excellent customer service and courtesy politeness amazing. Just wonderful quality of people that work there is just amazing. They took my order in record time. Made sure everything was right and just cared like I was their only customer. Their quality is amazing and everything is top notch with them. I would definitely recommend them to anybody.
