Ordered drainage crates beginning of December, told would be 3-5 day delivery, still hadn’t arrived by 22nd December. They agreed a refund as they couldn’t tell me when I would receive them, had an email to say the refund would take 5 Days. Following lots of phone calls & emails I eventually received my refund 22nd January. Very very poor service.

Items ordered but then turns out they are not in stock. Waited for a week but then cancelled the order. A month later and no refund. Had to raise a dispute on the credit card.

Used sky plastic for a few years now brilliant to deal with. Any issues ring them up and gets sorted. If damaged product on arrival they’ve replaced without any hassle. Molly and team in the office I can’t recommend highly enough. Brilliant company.

Placed an order for the 315mm inspection chamber set, which includes the base chamber, the riser, and the cover, and 1x 110mm 90 degree double socket underground junction. there was NO mention that some of the items were not in stock, or special order, so I placed the order. Order arrived on Monday 27th Oct, with a note next to the riser, base chamber and double socket juntion, saying "To follow"! I called the company the same day as delivery, to ask when i would receive the "To follow" items. I was told they would be back in stock "By Weds or Thurs" and I will receive them by the Friday. Friday afternoon, and no delivery, so I called the company again, and was told "Give me 5 minutes and I will check with the despatch dept, and call you straight back". I didnt receive a call back, so I had to wait until the Monday to call and find out when I would be receiving the missing items! I was told "They are due in this week and I would receive them "By the end of the week". Again, no delivery, so the following Tuesday, I called again, and this time I was told "We dont have a date when these items will be back in stock" so I asked to cancel the order, and get a refund. I was told a refund would be done "Within 3-5 days". By the following Weds (19th Nov) I still hadnt received the refund, and was told to "Wait until Friday (21st Nov), then call back if I hadnt heard anything"! I received an email late Thurs (20th Nov) saying a refund had been done, and it could take "Approximately 10 days to appear on your statement"! If I had known when I ordered the items, they WERENT in stock, I wouldnt have waited 4 weeks for something that was never going to arrive! I would have ordered ALL the items from a different supplier, so maybe call the company first, to make sure everything you want IS in stock, and is not going to delay you waiting! And another thing, I saw the "Complete set" of the base, riser, and cover for 1 price, and didnt bother checking each item separately, as each item bought individually came to £87.33 but buying as the "Complete set" is actually more expensive at £89.36!! CHECK BEFORE BUYING FROM SKY PLASTICS!!

For the 2nd time Sky Plastics have allowed me to make and pay for an order for Items they know are not in stock. They keep items advertised on their website despite knowing they are not available and allow customers to purchase them. They fail to communicate order information with you even after purchase and allow the customer to chase them. Their customer service is just staff paying Lip Service, read from a script with insincere promises of follow up calls that never happen. Avoid at all costs.

Well the positive is they’re cheap and delivery price is reasonable. The very annoying negative is that half of my order was out of stock but it doesn’t say so on the website. It’s only when you chase the order you find out firstly things are due in later in the week and oh one of your items is out of stock do you want a refund. Bloody useless when you urgently need stuff and they promise next day delivery.

I would highly recommend skyplastics.
Dealt with, the absolutely adorable Molly, who kindly informed me of my delivery date and her magical meteorological powers.
Will definitely use the company again if the occasion arises.

Good communication from the company (via Molly). Problem sorted quickly and efficiently. Good quality items. Delivered very quickly by a courteous, efficient courier.
All in all a very pleasant experience from start to finish.

Great customer service after having to delay a large delivery a few times, they went above and beyond to reschedule my delivery.

Chased up an order delivery and spoke with Molly who was extremely helpful. Within 5 minutes she had checked the stock and my order status and confirmed delivery was being arranged for next working day. Refreshing to receive such awesome customer service! 👍

Afraid to say that the other reviews are pretty much spot-on - Sky Plastics are either totally incompetent or deeply inconsiderate, or both.

I ordered on a Thursday morning, and the order didn't come until the following Tuesday afternoon. As far as I can tell, this turned out (for once) to be nothing to do with the courier - according to the tracking, they didn't receive the items I'd ordered until Monday! Would love to know what prevented them from being dispatched on Thursday or Friday.

Then, when the order eventually arrived, it turned out that a significant portion of the items were missing. I spent the entirety of yesterday afternoon trying to get in touch with Sky Plastics, phoning again and again but getting no answer. Eventually I got an email after 5pm, explaining that 'the depot' hadn't had all the items I'd ordered. So why on earth wasn't this flagged at the earliest opportunity, rather than waiting for my builders to open the boxes?! Were Sky Plastics hoping we simply wouldn't notice? Just unbelievable.

The upshot of this was that I ended up doing what I'd been trying to avoid, and had to purchase the missing components in a hurry and at great expense from whatever local merchants could supply them. If Sky Plastics had simply let me know on Thursday that they couldn't fulfil the order it would have given me the opportunity to go to another online supplier, ideally one that actually does fast delivery rather than simply hinting about it and then not actually doing anything of the sort.

The only thing that drags this sorry set-up above a one-star review is the chap I spoke to pre-delivery, about needing the order to arrive by Monday, who was very understanding and genuinely seemed to be trying to be helpful. My advice to him would be to a leave as soon as possible and go to work for a company where everyone cares about customer service, and not just one guy!

I would only recommend ordering from Sky Plastics if you have literally weeks and weeks spare for the order to arrive and be corrected in whatever way is needed. Certainly not a supplier you could ever rely on for something you need in a hurry.
