We are extremely happy with SL Therapy! For the assessment and the first 4 sessions, we worked with Sarah, and now Ellie comes to our home to deliver the speech therapy. They are both so professional and skilled and have been incredible with both of my children. I’ve noticed an improvement with both kids in a relatively short time and am so happy we chose SL Therapy.

I highly recommend SL Therapy.

Phenomenal. If I had to describe my recent experience with SL Therapy London in one word, that would be the word I chose.

Sarah Lyons came into my life at a very stressful and harrowing time. Sarah was personally involved in both of my children's recent tribunal appeals. From the assessments and reports to her attendance as a witness at both hearings. SL Therapy completely surpassed all expectations I had.

I have experienced next level professionalism and wish that all of the specialists that work with my children could be as dedicated and adept as Sarah in terms of conduct, knowledge and expertise.

It's very evident that SL Therapy London genuinely care. The entire team are so attentive that I'm rather sorry our interactions will be drawing to a close. If I require any additional support in the future there's no question in my mind who I will be discussing my concerns with first.

Sarah has been wonderful to deal with. She was brilliant with my autistic son enabling him to feel comfortable around her. Her report is thorough and specific. She is tribunal experienced and her report and advice reflects this. I am so pleased I found her.

I had come across many companies that offered speech and language therapy, to children and young people. The websites seen were very appealing and appearance in money well spent on the sites, however, in enquiring about the services offered, in terms of assessments, for individuals with Autism. I was informed that the companies provided all services, across learning difficulties and disabilities. I was appreciative to be advised about this. However, when I asked for further details, or arrange a brief conversation with specialised professionals. I was informed they were overly booked, but the secretaries and switchboard operatives, were available to provide answers to questions...... I was told, all would be addressed on the day of assessment. Although I was urgently in need of an assessment for my daughter. I didn't want a rushed process.

Close to giving up. I came across SL Therapy London. Not only was I drawn to the detailed information on the website, but I found the images refreshing, to see that it was non corporative but bery innovative, with the feel of the professionals, truly being passionate about the field they have chosen to support, inspire and improve the taboo of learning difficulties and disabilities,which will influence generations to follow.

Calling and speaking to the secretary in terms of the concerns and queries about my daughter. I found not only did she listen, but she did not advise or commit to saying anything that, came to mind, to keep me on the phone. She suggested that I spoke to the director of the company and arranged a date and time, suitable for both of us.

This led to meeting Nina, who had already made sure she had read previous documents sent, and her approach to my daughter, was impressive. My daughter usually becomes very suspicious of professionals. It was wonderful to see her smiling and engaging with Nina from the time, she arrived at our home.

Nina was patient, friendly, forthcoming, empathetic and very respectful in our environment. The tranquil approach and interaction she used to assess my daughter, did not seem to my daughter that she was involved in a assessment for a report. The assessment, could of overrun it's time, because my daughter was so interested in conversing, and was also asking Nina alot of questions, due to the approach Nina used. Thank you Nina and thank you SL Therapy. A true God send of a company, to families and carers, who constantly battle a system, that fail generations of gifted individuals, due to not fitting into the status quo. If services, such as SL Therapy was not available, there would be no hope, for children and young people in education.

Our 4 year old son has selective mutism and we have been working with S L Therapy for about 3 months. Our therapist Sarah has been great. The initial assessment was efficient and we then had a treatment plan to work through. Everything is set out in baby steps and it is easy to implement. After a week, we could see how our son was feeling more comfortable engaging with his teachers and his peers. Sarah’s guidance and advice is really helpful in maintaining progress along the plan. After three months, our son has just performed in his summer show at nursery which is something we would not have thought possible before finding S L Therapy. I would definitely recommend them.

Our 2.5 year old son has issues with excessive drooling and poor diction. We spoke to S L Therapy and they recommended we speak to Sonja who got in touch the very next day and came to see him and did an assessment. The assessment was about 2 hours long and very thorough and professional, whilst also feeling reassuringly warm and personal. My son is shy but Sonja made him feel at ease very quickly and they were playing together within 5-10 minutes of them meeting which is not usual for him

Sonja identified some possible issues and gave us techniques to help and within the session I could already see some improvement. By the end of the session he was able to control his saliva a lot more effectively, and we said goodbye to bibs there and then. A week later and his t shirt is dry most days when previously he would soak through a few bibs and even damage some books and toys. He is also very proud of himself which is lovely to see!. We are still working on his diction but I can already see some improvements.

We are really pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend S L Therapy and especially Sonja. Thank you!

Lovely chat with SLT Sarah this AM- makes you feel listened to and validated when talking about your child. This is such a breadth of fresh air especially if you haven't experienced that before. I really felt that she genuinely cared about my child.
She is very passionate about helping children with speech and language difficulties and there's a very special fighting seal about her. I like her! She has a really good knowledge base and gave great advise to us all, in the training session with SEN talk. The session was well presented and easy to follow and understand.

We were very happy to have Nina working in our school. She has supported children, staff and parents over her time with us. The online sessions with individual children and parents during Lockdown enabled them to continue to make progress.

I highly recommend Sarah Lyons. Sarah supported us through my son's tribunal as a witness and also added valuable input to my sons EHCP. Without Sarahs help I don't think we would have won. My son has ADHD, ASD & SPD, Sarah assessed Harvey and she was extremely warm and understanding. She made Harvey feel at ease and could sense when he needed breaks. Sarah is highly qualified and experienced, I am so thankful for her indepth SaLT report and her support throughout this process. Thank you so much🙂🙂

My teenage son has been having therapy sessions with Rosemin since last November. Rosemin uses a wide range of different strategies and materials to keep my son engaged and he always finds the sessions interesting and fun. She also gives us detailed feedback after every session with tips on how to continue building on the work he has done during the sessions at home. Rosemin has taken time to understand my son and his particular interests and tries to bring this information into the sessions to make it relevant to him. I would highly recommend Rosemin to anyone looking for a speech therapist.

Rosemin is so patient and makes her sessions so much fun. Seeing my little one gain confidence and try not just during her sessions but after us remarkable. I recommend her and the company to everyone I know!

I just wanted to email you directly to thank you for your input with my son's SALT assessment and report. My solicitor sent me the report this morning. It is fantastic. So much more detailed, and absolutely spot on in terms of identifying his needs! Thank you so much! This will make all the difference to his provision over the next few years.

Getting Clinical supervision by Sarah proved to be a very good decision for me. Sarah provided a professional, supportive environment for me, a fellow SLT, to discuss work scenarios, policies and bounce off future prospects. An excellent session - Thanks Sarah!!
