I Would give zero stars if possible. Their employee Johann Francois promised 2 x burton boards and the shop has never stocked them.

Even though I took the highest category…
Even though I took the highest category on Snowbrainer I was still hassled for an upgrade in the local shop. Of course this is the local shops policy but snowbrainer should find a way to do better quality control. Would not hire again through this agent. Shop was Ski2000 Val Ton 2400.

We thank you for booking with us and we are really sorry that you've encountered some problems on spot.
We offer online the Platinum category ( or 6*) and when you book online through our website you don't select a specific model of skis, you book in a price category which correspond to a level of skiing.
If you want a specific model it might happen that the latter is in a higher category (called VIP in the shop) that we are not advertising online , indeed only the shop offers this category on spot and of course it implies a difference of price between the category you've booked and the VIP one. That is why i suppose, the shop suggested you an upgrade.
I hope that we shed light on this issue that you've encountered and hope you will trust us once again for your next ski holiday.

Les Menuires - Extreme Mountain
We have used Snowbrainer on a number of occasions and always been impressed.
On our recent holiday to Les Menuires we chose to hire from a shop called Extreme Mountain via Snowbrainer. Access to the hire area was poor (down some steep steps) and the fitting area was very cramped making the fitting out and returns process feel extremely chaotic. Having said that, most of the staff were helpful and the kit we hired was of a reasonable quality for the price we paid.

just come back from my third ski holiday where I've used Snowbrainer to book ski rental online in advance, always found it means huge savings versus booking through the holiday company, also cheaper than SkiSet. As Snowbrainer is just a broker/agent, I guess the quality of the equipment and service will differ from shop to shop but I've always been very satisfied

Faulty website, horrible support
We had a problem with the site which booked at the wrong shop in the wrong village. I contacted them and immediately I knew, I made a mistake using this website. The support is horrible. They would not change the booking to the other shop. I had to book again and hope that they would cancel the booking with the other shop. After all those phone calls to a UK number I had made 0 benefit.

Dear customer, if you make a booking with us and contact us immediately with the Information that the booking is wrong, we can cancel the booking without any cancellation fee. If you find out, that the booking is not correct, not directly after finishing the booking (but not later than 3.00pm on the day before the first rental day), we can cancel this booking for free if you make another (correct) booking and send us the new booking number. Please note that we can't change the booking to another shop, as all our partner shops have different prices and conditions. As your payment details are of course not visible to us, we can't make the new booking instead of you, but of course we can make the new booking together with you on the phone if your prefer It's always possible to ask for a call-back from us to save money. We also provide phone numbers to EU countries, all our colleagues speak at least English.
Best ski hire ever
We hired our skis through this company for our trip to leas Saises . The shops we chose was Isabelle ski hire in leas Saises . Good efficient service and the skis were excellent . Best ski hire ever .

POOR KIT - 5Star kit waste of money
i pre booked my hire online from snowbrainer.com with collection from sport2000 in Tignes and the kit was very poor. i upgraded to the so called 5Star kit. IT WAS NOT. was given a knocked up beginner board. So DON'T WASTE FOR MONEY ON UPGRADES. i even purchased the added insurance thinking it was a good board, not sure the added cost was worth more than the board itself. They were also unable to supply me a board of correct length, which i had ordered online weeks in advanced. This was my experience, others in my group were also not happy, lack of correct board length for many although they also had ordered online weeks before and bindings not setup right for any of my group. Poor service all round,
