Hi Sophie,

We’re really sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your item. We haven’t received an email from you regarding this, but we’d be more than happy to arrange a prepaid return label and issue a full refund if you’d like to return it.

Just to clarify, we absolutely don’t work with Shein in any way. We work directly with our own suppliers to have items manufactured for us, specifying the quality and standards we expect.

However, as with many small businesses, some of the items we sell can also be found on other marketplaces. We’re in the process of creating more exclusive pieces for our brand, but this takes time and considerable investment.

We completely understand your concerns about pricing, and whilst we’d love to match those prices, large marketplaces like Shein operate on extremely low margins. As a small family-run business, we have many additional costs to consider, and we genuinely try to keep our prices as affordable as possible.

Unfortunately, we’ve been let down by a few suppliers, with the quality of some items not matching what we originally agreed upon or the standards we clearly specified to them. This is something we’re working hard to address, as we never want our customers to feel disappointed.

Hi there,

I was really sorry to read your review this morning, as well as your messages. I know we’ve now discussed everything privately, but as this is a public forum I just wanted to respond here too and explain what has happened.

As we discussed, we recently trusted a new supplier to dispatch some items on our behalf as our little business has grown. We absolutely take responsibility for that decision, but from everything you’ve described and shown us, the items you received are not the same quality as the samples we were sent and approved. We’re incredibly disappointed and frustrated that this has happened.

Your full refund has already been arranged, along with a prepaid return, and once the items are back with us we’ll be inspecting and photographing them properly as part of addressing this with the supplier.

This certainly isn’t the quality we want associated with our business. We work hard to make our pieces as lovely and affordable as possible, and the last thing we ever want is for a customer to feel let down. We’ve put too much trust in this supplier and it’s something we will absolutely learn from going forward.

I’m genuinely very sorry that your experience with us has been this disappointing.

Hi Lisa,

I’m very sorry your order has taken so much longer than expected. We’ve been waiting for new stock to arrive, which is why your order has not yet been dispatched and there is no tracking information.

We replied to your message at around 11:30 last night to explain the delay and offer a full refund if you no longer wanted to wait. We’ve also tried to send updates before then, and I’m sorry those emails didn’t reach you. I understand your frustration, but I was upset to see the suggestion that we might be a scam company so soon after we’d spoken and explained everything yesterday.

We’re a small family-run business, and we’ve unfortunately had more stock issues than we expected. We manage everything ourselves around our little girl Sofia, and we are trying our best to put proper systems in place as the business grows. That’s our responsibility, and I’m sorry we’ve let you down. I’ve seen that you’ve now asked for a refund, and we’ll process it straight away, as promised in our message.

Hi Susan,

I’m very sorry that your order has been delayed. We understand how frustrating it is to wait longer than expected, and we apologise for the inconvenience.

We would have been happy to provide another update if you had contacted us. As a small family-run business, reviews have a significant impact on us, so we would have appreciated the opportunity to address your concerns directly.

The last email we received from you was on 31st August, when you said you understood the delay and were happy to wait. We also sent an update a few days ago apologising for a further unexpected delay from our manufacturer, and said we would refund the delivery fee you paid if you were happy to wait a while longer. Apologies if this email ended up in spam. We now expect the stock to arrive within the next couple of days and plan to dispatch your order as soon as it reaches us.

We’re sorry again for the wait. Unfortunately, we don’t have a large team of people helping us, we manage everything as a family around our little girl Sofia (who we named the business after). We have grown a lot quicker than expected and are trying our best to work through any teething issues and put proper systems in place.

As we said before, if you would prefer not to wait any longer, please get in touch and we will issue a full refund straight away.

Hi Linda,

We’re sorry to read your review and are surprised to hear you were unhappy with the quality of your order.

If the items were never even worn, we’re unsure why you didn’t contact us over the past month to arrange a return. We would have happily accepted the items back and issued you a full refund.

Instead, the first we heard of any issue was through this review. We also didn’t set up a Trustpilot page ourselves, so by choosing to leave this review, a page for our business was effectively created without our knowledge, rather than simply contacting us directly.

We are a relatively new family-run business and genuinely aim to provide both good quality products and good customer service. We really can’t emphasise enough that, had you contacted us directly, we would have done everything we could to resolve the situation for you.
