feels great to shopping from Sofology

Sofa wasn't delivered and nobody knows why or where it even is

Do not order from this company unless you want to be messed around! We ordered a sofa in store and after a month or so we recieved a message on the 12th of March to advise the sofa is ready to be delivered and to book a delivery date. We booked the 21st of March and received a confirmation message. Then on the 19th of March we received the same message again asking us to book a delivery date. We checked our order and the delivery date had been cancelled but we didnt know why. So we rebooked the 21st as it was still available. Again we got a confirmation to advise delivery will be on the 21st.

The day before it was supposed to be delivered we received a message to say it was being delivered between 3pm and 7pm. We were also able to track the delivery truck on the day and it showed the sofa was in transit and we were delivery number 12. At 5.45pm we checked the tracking and a message appeared saying "Sorry we are unable to deliver your order, please ring us on ****" We rang the number and after 10mins on hold we finally got through only to be told this is the number for DFS not sofology and they couldn't help so the incorrect number was on their website. Of course it was now past 6pm and the sofology help line was now closed.

I rang them again Sunday morning to be told that the sofa wasn't ready to be delivered yet as it hadn't been received into the warehouse. I asked how that could be as i had a message to say it was ready for delivery on the 12th of March, and why was I able to book a delivery and track my order on the truck if it wasn't yet available for delivery? She just said she didnt know and would contact another department and I would get a call back in a couple of hours. I didnt get a callback so I rang again and explained the issue again. The lady on the phone then asked if I had been given a time frame for a callback. I said yes a couple of hours. She then told me that wasn't a time frame? She investigated again and said the sofa wasn't due to be delivered to the warehouse until the 24th so I shouldn't of been able to book a delivery before then and that booking a delivery date wasn't set in stone (So what's the point in delivery dates?) When I asked if the sofa was on the delivery truck she said they didnt know and would try to contact the delivery team. I waited on hold and she said nobody was answering so said she would send them a message instead. I asked if I should rebook the delivery on the website and she said no it will probably just get cancelled again? At this point I made a complaint. I told them we had got rid of our other sofa and now didnt have anything in our living room to sit on. I also explained I would now need to wait in all day again for another delivery date. She apologised and said she had raised the complaint and to expect a phone call by the end of the following day.

We didn't receive a call back so I rang again this afternoon. They just said the supplier hadn't responded yet and would usually take around 72 hours and to just call back on Thursday. I explained that we had no furniture and that this was urgent. The man on the phone then said that his colleague had picked the case up and was dealing with it personally but said again. If you dont hear from us call back Thursday.

I am now £3000 out of pocket as I had to pay the full amount in order to book a delivery date. And the sofa i have paid for is either sat on a truck somewhere or hasn't even arrived for delivery. But nobody seems to know which and the department that can supposedly give the answer is impossible to contact

If I had known I would have so many issues I would have avoided this company like the plague

UPDATE - as per the many reviews regarding this company have said. The email address provided to help resolve the issue does not accept incoming mail. What a surprise

100% recommend Sofology

Went into store today and spoken to the three colleagues saj kushi and sayed and they were fantastic to say the least!!! So happy with thr advice and will be placing my order so soon and the best customer service I’ve received in a long time!!

Great customer service

I had a wonderful experience with Sofology’s customer service, thanks to Maz at camphill middleway Birmingham . He was extremely helpful, patient, and attentive to all of our questions. Good range, relaxed sales approach.

There was a good range of different sofas available to view in the store, with a wide variety of fabrics and leather to choose from and many different recliner configurations. Maz was on hand to answer questions, without applying any sales pressure, while we took our time, over two separate visits, deciding what we wanted.
