Sol4r Energy Ltd レビュー

Deciding to install solar panels is a big investment. I had several quotes and discussions with prospective providers to make the correct decision. Out of all of the quotes, Sol4r Energy stood out. They (Mark) listened to what I wanted and my concerns. Unlike other providers, Mark advised me on panels and more importantly, battery performance.
I then decided that I would trust Sol4r Energy with the installation.
No regrets whatsoever. Brilliant. Avtar and his team were very professional and talked me through the process of installing. Very clean and excellent work with the cabling.
The app provided is very good. It’s addictive to watch how much energy is being produced and used.
I have had a few follow up visits and calls with Salah to see how I am getting on with the system. I have been advised what I need to do next with certification so I can get on the right tariff with the right supplier.
I now have an excellent system that will reduce my costs by 75% so I am no longer dreading the next energy price cap cycle.
These guys are very passionate about the products. It’s a refreshing experience that they are not going to sell you any old product. They listen to ensure that you get the best possible product for your needs.

Great communication throughout. Very helpful with answering any questions.

[Update 22-08-2024]
After eight months my Growatt inverter developed a fault and my generation dropped to half of the rated capacity and it stayed that way for ~3months. When I noticed the issue I reached out to Sol4r and within three weeks of my email, I had a team come over and inspect everything and replace the faulty inverter on the spot. This was a commendable step because going through the warranty claim would have taken more time but Sol4r was able to offset that. There were a few communication delays from Sol4r that caused some stress, but I later found out it was because of absences and personal reasons. Through this experience Sol4r once again demonstrated their excellent service and commitment to their customer.

This is a review for a solar panel installation done by Sol4r energy. We had 14 solar panels, Growatt SPH5000 inverter/battery (5kW) and a Zappi 2.1 EV charger installed by Sol4r team in Sep 2023 (in Worcestershire, the price was ~12k). The work was done very professionally by Mr.Salah and his team. From the initial quotation phase to the end of the job, they were very helpful in explaining the details (including the technical aspects) in a clear and genuine manner. At no point did we feel like they were trying to coerce us into anything, we felt like they were sincere and reasonable. The team showed up on time as promised for fitting the scaffolding and within a week we had the installation complete. All of the electrical and mechanical work was done swiftly by his team who were friendly and competent. I was very pleased with how they handled everything and in one day we transformed into a solar powered home. The DNO paper work that came after the installation stalled due to some unseen reasons but I am quite sure it was due to the bottleneck on the end of our grid supplier and not Sol4r. I eventually got the G98 approval in Dec 2023 and the communication from Sol4r could have been a bit better. Although all the necessary details for chasing this DNO application was provided by Sol4r; it did take many emails, phone calls and voice messages to get there and I found this a bit stressful. The aftercare from Sol4r has been very good and they did come through on that promise. Whenever I needed some technical assistance, whether to configure the settings on the Growatt app or for the Zappi EV charger, Mr.Salah was responsive and very helpful indeed. Overall we are very satisfied with the installation, price and aftercare we received from Sol4r and one area they can improve on is with the communication during the DNO application. I would recommend Sol4r and Mr.Salah for your solar convertion.

Great with all aspects of the installation and trustworthy company. The team were very efficient and knowledgeable. Throughout the process they went above and beyond to ensure I was updated and happy with the installation. They resolved all the issues left by my previous installer. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm, their work is of the highest standard and their customer service is excellent. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

The installation of the Growatt Inverter and Growatt Batteries by Sol4r Energy Ltd has been a seamless and satisfactory experience, the process began with a recommendation from a trusted family friend, which prompted me to consider Sol4r Energy Ltd for the job. After comparing several quotes and reviews, I decided to proceed with Sol4r Energy Ltd. The initial contact with the area sales consultant, Mr. Mel Parnell, led to a home visit and survey, resulting in an agreeable quote and prompt confirmation from the company's head office. The scheduling was handled efficiently, with regular updates and confirmations provided by Mr.Parnell, ensuring that I was well-informed of the installation timeline. The installation team's punctuality and professionalism were noteworthy, arriving at the scheduled time and providing a detailed explanation of the process. I experienced no issues during the installation, highlighting the team's competence. The post-installation service was equally commendable, with a comprehensive walk through of the equipment, app setup, and operational advice delivered by a team member named Avtar. This level of customer service extended beyond the installation day, with a follow-up call from Mr. Parnell to ensure satisfaction and offer further assistance. My positive review and high rating reflect the quality of service and customer care provided by Sol4r Energy Ltd, making it a recommendable choice for others seeking solar energy solutions. The gratitude expressed towards the head office for their efficient communication and organization further emphasizes the company's commitment. My experience with Sol4r Energy Ltd travelling to Coventry showcases the company's dedication to delivering a high standard of service and support in the renewable energy sector.

From initial quote to completion of our solar install we have been 100% happy with our dealings with Sol4r Energy. Fantastic communication and support from a totally awesome team who clearly understand their product. They all make sure that everything is clearly understood which is brilliant. An absolute pleasure to deal with and will be promoting their company and product at any opportunity! We are excited to see our battery fill with sun fuelled energy!🌞🌞🌞
Thank you

Perfect experience, well there was one small issue & as an ex managing director i know every business has problems, but it’s how the business deals with them that matters.
Sol4r Energy came out with flying colours, i highly recommend them from the sales team to the fitters, i’m extremely happy. 👍😀

Their professionalism and good work is impressive.
They know their job very well and work with customers to sort any issues that may cause problems.

Very informative and expert discussion about the project. Friendly installation team who turned up on time and completed work in a day. Helpful briefing about the management of the panels, inverter and battery using an app. Mid range price for the work.

Delivered on time and as promised. The support from the team has been fantastic after the install to get the best out of the system

Very responsive, technically knowledgeable and professional sales process. The installation team was punctual, professional, efficient and polite. They did a great job and left the property spotless! Everything installed and commissioned in 1 day - great job!

Excellent service, communication, assistance and installation from all involved in the project at Sol4r Energy.
Very professional and proficient installation.

Great all round from all involved.

I went with Sol4r Energy after recommendation from a neighbour. I saw the quality of the install and was impressed.
The whole process from initial discussions with Max the Sales Manager, to the quote and installation was quick, pressure free and painless.
The install day was very impressive with 4 guys turning up at 08:45 and working until 17:00 to complete the install in just 1 day.
I am very pleased with the end product and it makes more electricity than I expected.
Even the scaffolders were pleasant so overall a great job, just need more sunshine now.

I am deeply grateful for the exceptional service provided by Sol4r Energy Ltd. Navigating through numerous companies and quotations in this entirely new world was initially overwhelming. The sales team, guided by Salah's expertise, demonstrated remarkable professionalism. Their insightful explanations not only enhanced my knowledge but also clarified the intricate workings of the system, along with highlighting crucial regulatory aspects.

Upon signing, Salah himself promptly reached out to coordinate dates and requested additional details due to the complexity of our roof. The pre-installation survey, conducted by the team, showcased a commitment to precision and thorough planning. On the installation day, Mr. Avtar and his team displayed unparalleled professionalism, efficiently completing the installation in just two days, and incorporating four Growatt batteries.

Though the G99 certification took seven weeks, I was consistently informed, reflecting the transparency and communication excellence of this company. I highly recommend Sol4r Energy, as their approach truly sets them apart. Special thanks to the installation team for not only overseeing the installation but also addressing issues with my gas boiler. This experience has been exceptional, and I extend my sincere gratitude to Salah and Mr. Avtar for their outstanding contributions.

Review Updated - 17th July 2025.
In November 2023, I wrote a five star review following installation of a GivEnergy system. However, after repeated requests for support when my system went down, I had to contract with a different installer and spend over £1,200 to get my system back up and running. In total, it was down for 7 weeks during the very sunny weather in May and June of this year. As a result, I felt the need to update my review to one star.

Sol4r Energy failed at every step to assist or support me. Unreturned voicemails, unanswered texts and a WhatsApp message which has never been read. I was told they would speak direct to GiveEnergy on my behalf, I was told they could suppy the name of a local Solar Engineer and I was also told they would get back to me - they did none of these things.

I live in Yorkshire and I would warn potential Sol4r Energy customers who live outside London to find a local installer. It's not just about the installation, it's about professional post installation support and this company has failed me on many, many occasions. I have now transferred management of my system to a GiveEnergy approved Platinum Installer and the difference in support and responsiveness is like night and day.

Solar panels are a massive financial undertaking, choose your installation engineers wisely, particulatly if you live outside London.

This company are very responsive and efficient. From initial proposal through to post installation, I was impressed with the capability and courteousness of all Sol4r Energy personnel. They went the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, including carrying out minor repairs to my roof which were not part of the contract. The installation was neat and tidy and so far it all functions as expected.

System performs as designed, process was very professional and price was competitive, interaction was very positive.

The service was very good, they fully explained the process of how it works. The installation of panels, inverter. battery and connections went smoothly. People worked on site were all professionals.

Great service from start to finish from the team. Both Salah and Sonny did everything from helping understand my usage & needs, and then designing a system (and choosing the right technology) that has been perfect for my home. The install process was excellent with communication and handling of any issues done very well. Aftercare has been especially good, which I don’t think you’d get from a lot of companies. I would not hesitate in recommending Sol4r for domestic installs of solar and batteries or other green tech.
