Everyone made things very easy for us, and where elderly

Although the booking was made months ago, Solargain were on time considering it was during the Winter months!
The job was completed in the time we were told.
Very happy with the installation team(s).
Contractors were very professional and all the work was neat and tidy.
Would definitely recommend Solargain to others.

Not the cheapest out there, but good quality products, install and service.

Installation was quick and efficient with friendly tradies.

Daniel and his team were very professional and did an outstanding job. Daniel also explained the workings and how to read the app. We couldn't be happier.

Very poor interaction with this company.

At no point was I told on the phone that my water tank was out of warranty, nor was I told that there would be a call out fee.

I had already been on the roof, and told them that the tank had burst, so I fail to see what the technician added.

If I’d been armed with the information that there was no warranty, and there would be a $242 call out charge, I would have made arrangements for other companies to quote, that don’t charge!

Instead I got a pressure sales tactic of “if you proceed now, you can have hot water today”. But I was given no opportunity to shop around for alternative quotes.
Then.. to add insult to injury, “we will wave the call out fee, if you proceed”.

There should be no call out fee. They were legally required to advise me that there was a call out fee, and they failed to do that. What they actually said was “our technician lives down your way and he’ll stop by on his way home”.

The whole situation was handled very poorly. And honestly, if their tanks are only designed to last for 5 years, that’s potentially the cost of a new water system every six years! That doesn’t sit well with me and doesn’t seem quite right.

I’m steering well clear of these guys.

I would like to commend Alex Reed on the brilliant job in helping us connect our solar inverter to the internet. He was extremely patient with me as I'm not tech savvy. He was polite and respectful. He spent a lot of time walking me through the procedure until finally we succeeded together. I recommend Solar Gain to anyone

We had the heat pump installed a few months ago. We researched heat pumps thoroughly before proceeding. The guys did a great job installing the unit. They arrived on time, were organised and knew what they were doing. The unit looks good and is delivering reliable hot water. Power usage is minimal, but too early to estimate savings.

Had a new hybrid inverter installed by Solargain Bairnsdale. The whole process from first contact to installation was seamless. 3 guys that installed the inverter were very professional and explained everything to me including how to monitor usage etc. would definitely recommend to others and will use again if the need arises in the future.

We found dealing with Solargain so amazing, they have been professional, reliable and they went above and beyond to support us! From quoting the job through to installation, it was seamless, they took care of everything! Ricardo knows his stuff in relation to what is in the market at the moment with new technologies and reliable safe products, giving us peace of mind, safety was our biggest concern followed by efficiency of products! He helped us to organise transition of the house to 3-phase electricity so that we could get exactly what we want. His expertise and advice was spot, he always made time to answer our queries and help us to understand the process and the choices available, more importantly very honest and transparent!
Installation on site was brilliant, Ricky and his team knew exactly what they were doing, they went above and beyond with care and precision, they were tidy and respectful of our space and happy to answer all our questions. We observed him check and tipple check everything! We truly feel like we are in safe and good hands with Solargain! Thank you :)

Having purchased our solar panels 3 years ago and were happy with the overall service, when we decided to install a solar battery we decided to contact them again. The service was the the same, clear recommendation, fair price and installed within 4 weeks. The installation was carried out professionally and efficiently. The operation was fully explained and my questions answered. The installers were both polite and helpful and cleared away all packaging and building waste. Highly recommended.

I would definitely engage Solargain for future services for how honest they are with advice and if something is not particularly beneficial, they would highlight, for example - does a solar battery make sense for your home usage and recommend not include it if it doesn’t make economical sense. The electrician was great during the solar health check. However, the experience was let down by the admin team.

The electrician needed a blank document with a letterhead from the office so they could send me an updated report. Despite multiple reminders, the admin team literally took over a week to email them the blank document, causing unnecessary delays.

I would not recommend Solargain due to their poor admin support.

Payed $30,000 for a system that has broken down and no support getting screwed around by this company do not engage them they hide behind other company names

I have recently had solar panels and battery installed through Solargain. It is early days but the savings are already apparent.

The work undertaken ahead of the contract was extensive, but upon arrival the installers had to re-configure the panel lay out. That was easily rectified but obviously extremely frustrating for the team on the ground.

My only beef would be the length of time from agreeing the contact and quote to installation. This went for just over 4 months but is an industry issue with a shortage of suppliers and fitters.

Overall Solargain made the purchase easy, and the explanations and advice offered was exceptionally clear and easy to understand. The installation team were outstanding and toiled away in high temperatures to get the job done. Thank you

Honest service, clarity, great work.

Solar gain have provided exceptional service from the quoting process through installation and after sales service. The installation team were on time, professional, neat and tidy and extremely helpful offering useful advice and instructions during the process. The Franklin battery and associated App are easy to use, efficient and proving to be perfect for our household requirements. The technology and offsite support are fantastic and we highly recommended. Very happy with the service provided by Solargain and the Franklin battery.

Great communication and no pushy sales tactics. Got the system I was after at a compentove price point. The installation was done to high standard electrically and was done in an efficient manner. Very happy with the overall experience from Solar gain
