I had a really positive experience with So Resi. Weronika was especially helpful throughout the process and made a big difference in helping me understand what was happening at each stage. She explained the process clearly, and helped calm my nerves when things felt uncertain. Overall, the process felt much smoother than I expected, and I’m very grateful for the support.

I bought a shared ownership with another company over 10 years ago and since then my property was bought and managed by SO Resi (or is it Resi Housing, i dont know anymore as they are the same but different when wanting information) We decided to staircase to 100% and had nothing but trouble. The solicitors were hard to get hold of and there were many issues which took longer than needed to get through. It took a whole year to complete and extra money for surveys as they ran out and solicitors charges due to the amount of chasing required, insane considering we were buying the house we lived in.
Then there is the whole issue with the management company. during the process it turned out a certificate was required from the management company but turns out they went dormant over 6 years ago and no one else took over so where was the service charge money going and who was servicing the area? They could not tell me and EVENTUALLY gave in and refunded me 6 years of payments and stopped taking payments for work not being done. (have not done the same for others in the same position).
Since we have completed i was promised the final paperwork within 10 working days including a breakdown of the refund etc. Well i am STILL waiting for this over 10 weeks later even though i have called and emailed several times, this is where i keep being told i need to speak with Resi Housing who tell me i need to speak with So Resi!?! (my named person through the process has since left the company).
I would NOT go through this company as no one seems to know what is going on and you just get passed from one area to another.

Vanessa was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, with an extremely quick turnaround time due to her promptness and effectiveness at the whole process. I would highly recommend to anyone going through the Shared Ownership process!

Avoid at all costs!!
I have never experienced such poor communication from an organisation. Although my flat had sold, the purchase of my new home fell through due to a lack of coordination between So Resi and the seller’s estate agent. As a result, I lost a property I loved through no fault of my own and someone not doing their job properly.

Despite making numerous phone calls and sending multiple emails, I was consistently ignored. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise anyone looking to sell their property in the future to consider alternative options.

Posting on behalf of my daughter. So Resi are an absolute nightmare to deal with. Daughter had a buyer for her flat 31/03, but still no update from So Resi about whether the lady was successful in her mortgage application etc, despite her chasing every single day. My daughter is about to lose the property she wants to buy and all because So Resi cannot be bothered to answer calls and emails. Even her estate agent has tried contacting them to hurry things along to no avail. If you are buying from them, they answer, now she is selling nobody wants to help. Dreadful customer service

Everything from the viewing of the house to move in date went very well and Francesca Hogben who was our point of contact was very helpful and has managed to get us moving at a very short notice as we wanted. She has gone above expectations to meet our deadline and has been a pleasure to deal with.

We have recently staircased and completed the sale with soresi. I am rating here the second half of the process, when our case had been passed to the aftersale consultant. (My overall experience would be different, which I am happy to discuss with soresi management for learning).
Just to say, Sylvana was brilliant, she was ever so quick to reply, always helpful and pushed our case forward to take advantage of the incentive. I am ever so grateful that our case got allocated to her, I really felt like that she handeled our case with compassion.
