Sous Chef is my go-to for any Japanese kitchenware and ingredients. The quality of their products is second to none. Their customer service is also excellent - I experienced an issue with a recent order and within a few hours this had been rectified in a super efficient and friendly manner. I will always recommend them. Thank you!

Very happy with the high level of customer care. Delivery was astoundingly fast … literally overnight. The 4 items I ordered were of the highest quality. I would definitely buy again from Sous Chef. Thank you for all the care taken and best wishes.

I would like to say how much I appreciate Sous Chef’s excellent customer service.There was a mix up over my order and I ended up placing the order twice.There was a very quick and efficient response to this matter and customer service staff followed this up until they were able to clarify fully what had gone wrong.I am completely satisfied with their process of sorting this out for me.

Absolutely refused to reply to emails and online contact form regarding shipment of an order, changed the price charged with no explanation. I had to cancel the purchase via Paypal because they gave me no option or service. STAY AWAY

Great products and great customer service. Sous Chef have a fantastic selection of products that I would find difficult to source locally. In addition, when I had a problem with the delivery of my order (down to DPD and NOT Sous Chef) they went out of their way to make sure I received it in time. I recommend this website and I will shop here again.

I shopped with Sous Chef for the first time this Christmas for a present for my brother. I was disappointed initially that the Ichendorf vinegar bottle was badly scratched. However the Customer Service was absolutely outstanding, no questions asked, massive apologies and a replacement received within 24 hours, you can't beat that for service 👏👏👏

Interesting products for the kitchen and cooking. Super fast delivery and when Evri had delivered with one broken item, this was immediately refunded - excellent customer service. Can’t wait to try everything I’ve bought.

I ordered ramen bowls for a Christmas present and they are perfect. Really lovely quality and very authentic. Unfortunately one of the bowls had cracked during delivery. I contacted customer services about this to ask about how to move forward with a refund/replacement and they immediately send a new bowl. It has been delivered to my house within 20 hours of me sending the initial email! Incredible customer service and will definitely be placing an order again.

Souschef has my favourite brand of Couscous - after the initial nervous first order I felt reassured they were genuine. Im such a sceptic these days!
I have since ordered more and they are super fast at processing the order and the product arrives in good condition. The customer service is spot on - this is a really lovely company to deal with.

My delivery had been damaged in the post and Sous Chef provided me with a replacement of all products without requiring me to send them back. This order was for a Christmas present, so I was concerned about getting the replacements in time, but the order arrived at my door the next day. Correspondence was super fast, professional, and friendly - I look forward to shopping with Sous Chef again.

Excellent olive oil at a fair price and very good after sales service

Present of ramen bowl gift set arrived in a flimsy and obviously damaged box. Bowls were smashed and duly removed by the delivery driver. Customer services impossible to contact (no number, no response to email) to rearrange delivery or refund so left without a present for a close relative. Christmas should not be such a shock - it happens every year! Theoretically good products but not treated carefully and not worth the stress.

The team at Sous Chef are amazing. I had a delivery turn up with the wrong items, which is understandable giving the busy time, but they responded to my email and had a new delivery at my house within 24 hours. They even let me keep what I’d been sent by mistake!
Sous Chef is always my first port of call for gifts, and certainly will continue to be. Thanks!

Shambolic. I ordered as a gift four items. The tortilla press was broken and the paint was coming off to the touch. Another item was unboxed and without instructions. The third item had obviously been pre-ordered and returned as the plastic packaging was scissor cut and open. Is no one checking this stuff? A total embarrassment. Don’t buy from here as there are lots of other alternatives available.

One item I ordered to give as a gift was damaged, and the replacement arrived within 24 hours, hassle free.

Previous orders have gone without a problem but clearly something has gone wrong as Sous Chef given the latest reviews and our experience. We ordered 6 panettone as gifts which were to be delivered next day. Five days later 5 arrived, 1 was out of stock. When they arrived the label was ripped off of one, tags off the other and one of the tins was dented. The customer service has been terrible for the duration. Twice I spoke to the team and was told they would follow up. Nothing came from them until 3 days later. We won't be rushing back to Sous Chef. Such a shame as they do have nice products.

Delivered in a scruffy box which was falling apart at the sides, unfortunately this meant a couple of the products inside were also damaged and will now need sellotaping back together!

Such a shame as the website is great with lots of interesting options but I wouldn’t rush back to order more from Sous Chef.

I have used Sous Chef on numerous occasions . In the last eight days I have placed three orders, I am still waiting for the first order whilst the 2nd and third have arrived.
