Finding Lianne has changed Noodle's life - and ours! I can't recommend her highly enough after numerous dog-whisperers. 2 years ago he was so out of control and, quite honestly, dangerous we were having conversations of the worst kind with our vets. Being a poodle/shih tsu cross Noodle's hair grows quickly and having him groomed had become impossible without a general anaesthetic - not ideal! Covid/lockdown changed him and he had become an anxiety ridden nervous wreck with very sharp teeth. When Lianne listed the the things she wad going to do, including a 'blueberry face massage' I had to laugh and just wished her luck! Sure enough all these things were done and not only did he come home with a lovely haircut, smelling beautiful, he was happy and pleased with himself for managing to cope. Lianne got into his head somehow and he has been a different dog ever since. We take him regularly and, although he still has his moments, Noodle's life is better these days and we can't thank Lianne enough xx

I cannot recommend Lianne highly enough! My dog can be very aggressive and anxious during grooming appointments, which has made finding the right groomer a real challenge. From the moment we met Lianne, it was clear that she has a special gift when it comes to working with dogs that need extra patience and understanding.

Lianne is calm, confident, and incredibly compassionate. She never makes me feel judged for my dog’s behavior and always takes the time to work with him at his pace. Her patience and professionalism are truly remarkable, and she handles every appointment with kindness and expertise.

Despite my dog’s difficulties, Lianne consistently does an amazing job. He always comes home looking fantastic, and I know he has been treated with care and respect throughout the process. The trust she has built with both my dog and me means more than I can put into words.

If you’re looking for a groomer who genuinely cares about animals and is willing to go above and beyond, especially for dogs with behavioral challenges, Lianne is absolutely exceptional. We are so grateful to have found her and wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dog.

Fantastic experience. I was nervous about my dog being groomed as he is ok steroids for an illness and can be a little jumpy. Leanne was been so reassuring with me. Out first visit was a complete success - Rolo was totally happy having been left and even had a lovely bath. He now smells gorgeous! We will be bookkng again for a full groom. It takes over an hour for us to get to Leanne but its totally woth it.

I honestly can’t recommend Lianne enough. My elderly dog Rosie has always struggled with grooming—she’s what you’d call a “spicy” dog, and we’ve been turned away by multiple groomers or had appointments cut short because of her behaviour. It was stressful and disheartening every time.

Then we found Lianne, and everything changed. She’s the only groomer who has ever been able to handle Rosie with patience, understanding, and genuine care. Not only does she always finish the job to a really high standard, but she’s completely transformed how Rosie feels about being groomed. She’s no longer anxious, which is something I never thought I’d see.

Lianne clearly has a special skill when it comes to dogs that need extra understanding, and it shows in every visit. On top of that, her prices are brilliant, especially considering the level of care and expertise she provides.

I trust her completely with Rosie, and I wouldn’t let anyone else groom her now. If you have a nervous or “spicy” dog, Lianne is absolutely the person you need. 🐾

I am a great advocate of giving credit to a person or business when it is due, and in this case it is more than due.

What Lianne has managed to achieve with Huxley, our 7 year old, nervous nelly Cockapoo in the 2 years she has been grooming him is nothing short of miraculous, her patience, love and empathy towards him is so far above and beyond I cannot put it in to words.

Before we found the Spicy dog groomer (Lianne) we were told Huxley was not groomable, we had been through several groomers all of which gave up on him as a lost cause.

Huxley used to be double muzzled and would get himself in such a state during a groom it was painful to see, now with the effort and love of Lianne he is almost like any normal dog when being groomed, sure there are areas he does not enjoy being done but I'm sure that goes for most dogs.

Lianne, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done. We cannot recommend you highly enough.

Absolutely amazing service once again, 100% would recommend to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and highly experienced, groomer/trainer.

Bruno is a very spicy Pomeranian with severe separation anxiety, he hates everyone (obviously not us) I portrayed him to be a little gremlin. Half way through his groom I get a text message saying how good he was being l, my response was "sorry are you talking about my dog" . I think he prefers to groomed in a home setting rather than a shop. So happy with Lianne, will definitely use her again. Xx

Haven’t even made it home yet but couldn’t wait to write a review. SO SO impressed and happy with Lianne.
On the way to the appointment we had doubts about whether or not she’d be able to cut my dogs nails. Booked him in for the desensitisation and when we arrived to pick him up, she’d cut them! My dog loved her and he definitely doesn’t like everyone.
Great advice given! So knowledgeable, friendly, kind and professional. 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough. It was quite a drive but definitely worth it. Definitely going back and bringing the other dogs too xx

Love love loveee The Spicy Dog Groomer

Our dog Boris’ nails were in desperate need of being cut. We had tried everything at home but he just went completely mad as soon as you went anywhere near his feet. Last year they got so bad we took him to the vet to be sedated to have them done, he took way over the usual amount of sedation and still he found the ordeal incredibly traumatic, growling, shaking and whimpering

We came across Lianne on Facebook and reached out, Lianne was confident she could help, we weren’t so sure but more than willing to try.

Lianne not only managed to cut his nails, she sent a video so that we could see he wasn’t too stressed and she bathed him and he came out smelling beautiful.

Lianne is worth her weight in gold, a real life hero for a dog whose nails were becoming a real issue!

We will now be visiting The Spicy Dog Groomer regularly and will recommend to every dog owner, especially those with reactive, challenging dogs like ours

Lianne is a very experienced and friendly dog groomer who takes her time to get to know the dogs. She is brilliant with my dog Mickey who is 14 years old and very spicy! I couldn’t be more happy when I collect him and he looks very well groomed

So happy to have found the Spicy Dog Groomer. I have a rescue Shih Tzu that struggles with the whole grooming process and needs a lot of patience and understanding. For the first time, he is now getting a beautiful haircut, he smells amazing, and most importantly, he is happy and calm when he comes out.

Can't recommend Leanne enough, absolutely amazing from start to finish, put us at ease sent photos during the groom. Our Ginger Ninja doesn't usually do well in grooming environment. But I can safely say she had a blast we Leanne. Nothing is rushed you don't feel like it's just a process, leanne really loves and cares for the dogs. Will be back super soon.

Have been to Lianne a number of times and had the most amazing experience. She always puts me at ease, sent me pictures the first time I had him groomed while he was in there so I knew he was coping ok (very scared and bites). Even come out at the end cuddling him! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!!

We recently went to Lianne with our GSD Murphy after being recommended.
Murphy is a nervous anxious GSD and has never been keen on being bathed, dried and having his feet and toes clipped.
Lianne totally got Murphy and what he needed in a groom. She was calm, patient and took all the time that Murphy needed in order for him to be groomed.
I am amazed with what she did and would totally recommend her if your dog is in the same situation. She was so reassuring and kept me updated as she knew I was a little anxious myself.

I brought in my schnauzer, who has had bad experiences in the past, and I was worried about how he would react. The staff was incredibly understanding and took extra precautions to ensure he felt safe and comfortable. They even allowed me to stay during the grooming session! The groomers were skilled and took their time, ensuring that my pup looked fantastic without causing him any stress. I left feeling relieved and happy, knowing that my dog had received the best care possible. The results were stunning, and I’ve already scheduled our next appointment!

Lianne is great, very professional and friendly with my dog Wilson. He always comes out looking nice and smart. Highly recommend.

My GSD Zeki had never been to a professional groomers before (he is 2) we were worried as he gets anxious when we have to leave him and as only we have bathed him before we wasn't sure how he would react. He did really well with Lianne and managed to have a full groom, he came out looking, feeling and smelling amazing and still smells nice now a week later! Thanks so much Lianne, he looks forward to his Christmas spruce up!

Lianne has been able to get my dogs temperament under control and he is so much more relaxed when he goes for his grooms. She is very calm and doesn’t rush the process. She also sends updates along the way
