Same as the other reviews - received a spam email from "Robert Wright" specifying a spelling mistake on my website that isn't there

We also received spam advising us we misspelled a word.

Like others here, I received a message telling me I had made a spelling mistake. It specifies the word. The word they claimed was misspelled was actually a place name in Germany, and is correct. Sadly for them I knew right away that they were spammers. I did not reply, nor did I visit their website.

Definitely spam but I don't know if it's a 'scam'. I looked at my website after being sent a message telling me there was a spelling mistake on my website.

I found the spelling mistake they were referring to lol xD But then found it strange my analytics said nothing about anyone having visited the page they were referring to today.

I initally thought it was just someone being nice and was going to email the person back for being kind enough to take the time to let me know, Sadly, people being kind for no reason, sent up red flags and I searched and found this thread.

I don't want the company to have my email address and will not take the risk of visiting their website now that I am aware they are spammers. I have no trust in any service they might be offering and will not look into it, whereas if they had been honest and upfront or had been recommended by a friend I might taken a look. Their spamming practice has sadly "ruined their site's credibility" for me.

Sends unsolicited emails saying that my site has spelling mistakes and i should use spellscan. Fake news.

Multiple scam emails sent through the contact form on my business website, telling me I've misspelled things on my site. STOP DOING BUSINESS THIS WAY. It's dirty and dishonest -- get a life and stop trying to get business through lying!

I got the same message. Shame they couldn’t even spell their own name correctly.

You are spammers please stop it!

You sent me this via my website contact form despite me stating that canvassers and spammers are explicitly prohibited:

Apart from being uninvited spam in the case of my website the word "Bushell" is correct and actually the "Real" name of a company so obviously Spellscan.com has failed and does NOT work correctly in this case.

I would say the fastest way to destroy the credibility of a website/company is to engage in annoying and illegal (under the laws and directives of many countries) spamming!

I don't know if you are trying to sell services (FAIL!), just trying to harvest email addresses by hoping people will reply to your email or trying to deliver viruses by encouraging people to visit your website but PLEASE STOP YOUR ANNOYING AND ILLEGAL SPAMMING ACTIVITIES!! Everyone else just beware of this spam/hoax email.

I received the same message about misspelling laboratory (labratory). I did make this mistake and corrected. Not sure what to think.

This is the message I got on my website. I admit I am not good in English since this is not my native language. But such error doesn't appear on my site. Shame to you, Sarah (if you exist).
First off how to you want me to correct the error if it really exist?

If you are looking to sell your service, find a legit way to do that and stop spamming publishers.
I am glad with the tool I am using (Grammarly).

We've received numerous complaints about this website and have tried it out ourselves and can confirm first-hand that it's a scam that should be avoided at all costs.

Had to check the dictionary. "Wonderous" is also accepted as a variant of "Wondrous". If you're correcting someone and trying to profit from it, at least make sure you are 100% right.

Contact form spammers.

Got a spam comment from this site through my websites contact form.

Luckily for me, I didn't blindly go to the SpellScan site, and took a little bit of time to look into it first. As I was looking, I found this site. So, I will not visit that site. However, I did find the typo "Kerri" pointed out. Which is the reason I gave a 2 star rating rather than 1 star.
