We’ve had some ups and downs with the collar. We live in a rural community and seem to have frequent “connection problems”. In general, it is simple to make a fence, change a fence and modify the collar settings. The actual collar is pretty stiff and a bit of a challenge to get on the dog.

✅ Great for protecting our dog! We live near a 2 lane highway and feel comfort in knowing that the fence protects our dog.

I was very skeptical if these collars would really work. I have 2 German Short-hair pointers and both are unique in their willingness to follow rules. I have owned shock collars for years and used them while hunting with success but didn't believe they would respect the boundaries. I worked with both of them independently to go through the training and to my amazement, they have respected teh boundaries and I have continued to give them more freedom/space to roam. As I have expanded the boundary, I take them around and try to help them understand but as soon as the collar beeps, they respect the boundary. I would recommend the collars to anyone who is wanting to give their dogs adequate space with property. My only issue has been when I let them back in the house, the collar may lose GPS signals in the house and then it is a bad outcome. Just make sure to remove them when we let the dogs back in the house.

We have two GSP's and spot on has been excellent for our dogs. They have learned their area and do not go outside of the defined zones. Its a comfort to know they will not leave our property. Well worth the expense. Spot on has eliminated the need for a physical property perimeter fence.

The warranty team was very efficient. They got my photos,made a decision, and got my replacement collar shipped. Spoton has been Great. My dogs run and explore on our property. They love it. We remove their collars indoors due them randomly alerting. We have a metal roof and GPS interference is understandable. Thanks

I'm not one to write reviews but this collar has been so good. Our dog stays in our unfenced yard when before he'd wander all over. I held out buying this for a while because it seemed too expensive. But it's been worth it. Five stars, full stop.

It randomly goes off in a safe zone or inside the fence away from the wandering. It's torturing my dog and our two other dogs because they know what the beeping means. I've reached out about returning it. I have not heard back from anybody. Very disappointed!

Only had one anomaly with the collar sending a mild shock when he was well within the fence. Outside of that it has worked very well. My dog, Tater is on a smaller size at about 23 lbs and collar is rather large on him but I think it’s a necessary evil for it to work as well as it does.

I had higher hopes. For the price I expected more. I will say it does a fair job with preventing escapes. My first impression was that the collar is very bulky and stiff, it can be a challenge to put it on a wiggly dog. The tracking is sub par, very delayed. The battery barely lasts 10 hours. If I had know before hand I likely would not have purchased these collars. Halo collar was much better as far as tracking and battery life.* In response to your reply, the initial review said someone would reach out to me concerning my review. That never happened. You were however very fast to reply to this review.

I purchased a second hand nova collar off of eBay, and the battery life was abysmal, with no additional features / tracking / etc, I got maybe 10 hours. The nova collar is a relatively new release, so the battery can't be that old.

While it is always possible the battery was defective or mistreated by the original owner (though I doubt the latter), the product is so new that I was surprised how far off the stated battery life was from what they advertise (34+ hours! not even close). I reached out to support who checked and saw that I was not the original owner of the collar, and they declined to assist even though the item is so new, because their stated warranty is non-transferable.

If you had confidence in your product, transferring the warranty wouldn't be a problem. But the overall support experience was very latent and delayed responses over weeks of time, even before they knew that I wasn't the original purchaser. Overall, just a poor experience with their support team, and an unusable product due to the horrible battery life.

It took a while to get started. The first collar was not working correctly. My husband finally called your company for help, and you immediately sent a new one. Then my husband had some difficulty setting up the boundaries, since we are in the woods of Maine. Finally got it working, and it has been wonderful! Poppy stays on the property, and has been enjoying the summer on the lake without being tied up. We have 3 1/2 acres but didn’t need to include all of the land for her. But plenty enough for her to wander and enjoy the water as well without the danger of leaving the property for the dangerous Rt. 1 about 1/2 mile away. Poppy is a 4 year old St. Berdoodle. We also have an 8 year old Clumber Spaniel, Tucker, but he more or less stays around, though he will follow Poppy if she leaves the property. But we don’t have to worry about that anymore.

This is our summer home. We have an invisible fence back in North Carolina. So it was pretty easy getting Poppy to understand your Spot On. Took a day.

I have no complaints other than i wish I would’ve realized that my metal roofing would prevent the collars accuracy. My pups have gotten corrected while laying on my porch :(
I should have thought about that, that’s my bad. Itd be cool if the wifi could take over when theyre under the roof.

Every single day this stupid collar alerts that my dog has left the fence when he’s inside the house and not even close to the fence line. Sometimes this happens multiple times a day. Biggest waste of $1000 I’ve ever spent. Don’t buy this…go with a competitor like Hero.

In respond to SpotOn’s reply - I Do Have a Home Zone Set Up. IT STILL ALERTS EVERY SINGLE DAY THAT THE DOG LEFT THE FENCE WHILE HES INSIDE THE HOME ZONE.

Everything great. Our Golden learned quickly and stays home so far.
Only issue is with charging. The first collar was almost impossible to get to start charging as had to fiddle with the puck and took 15-20 mins to finally hit the spot to start the charge. You sent a new puck but was no better so then sent a whole new collar. It is better but still takes several try’s to hit the exact spot to start the charge? Other than this issue the collar is great.

They have GREAT customer service!!! Very quick to reply - very helpful and patient!!! Would highly recommend! I have two dogs - two collars- and they work great!!!

This is an excellent product. We started with a similar product but were told that "we might be in the 1% of the country where this doesn't work." Sent it back for the SpotOn and have had a 100% success rate, and the dog knows exactly what the rules are and learned them in under a week. Great job.

My experience with SpotOn has been amazingly wonderful! I have a hound, Hank, who loves to run and hunt....only problem is he will end up 5 miles down the road. SpotOn has allowed us to let him run and hunt within safe, close to home boundries. We are amazed with SpotOn! Thanks=-)
