Fabulous instructors, exemplary organization and so detailed! I took this class on a whim because of Wade Caves presentation at ISAR. I don't even know if I want to focus on Horary. But it doesn't matter. I learned so much and all that I learned will make me a more skilful Astrologer all round.

All aspects of the course are so harmoniously done that I would compare the course to an estonishing piece of Art. The learning material reveals the beauty of old astrological texts that similar to true masterpieces become more valuable over the time. The teachers are inspired by the Art of Astrology, eager to share their knowledge and skills with the students. In addition, the design of the printed material absolutely stands out for the amount of work, the quality of each picture and uniqueness . The best course by far from my experience ! I had 20 weeks of the best traditional Astrology education of harmony, love, wisdom, inspiration and , in addition, excellent teaching methodology which was able to bring an extensive knowledge of the subject.

There is a lot of beauty and wisdom in traditional astrology. I found this out during the horary course here at the STA under the guidance of many wonderful teachers! I really appreciated Deborah’s authenticity, speaking from her heart, inspiring students with her enthusiasm for horary astrology and her personal sharing’s from a life time experience of practicing astrology.

I am very grateful for all the effort, knowledge and heart that has been given to us during this 20 week course.
I had no idea what i was getting into..., this course is very well design, to my expectations all the teachers and tutors are to the highest standard, the line of communication, the sequence of the lessons are structured in such a way that will build up a strong base of understanding, even though there is a lot of information that cannot be memorize in a week or even twenty weeks, the material becomes a great tool for consultation in every case during your practice.
I thought of horary astrology as one of the most detail focused and complex forms of astrology, but also very rewarded in terms of astrological skills and growth as an astrology practitioner and i was right, after more than ten years of study and practice of astrology, this course gave me the tools, knowledge and inspiration to open the astrological perspectives of my work and practice.
It is a great experience to learn from the experienced astrologers from the STA, their appreciation for the tradition, the respect for the art and also preserving the light of William Lily's legacy in a very professional way.
I have to say, this course is the one! If you can pay for it and you can make a 20 week commitment to astrology then don't hesitate, you will receive way more than what you expected!

I recently took the Astronomy for Astrologer class with Wade. it is a very inspirational course as I learned so much about the science behind Astrology. The biggest reward is that now I know how to calculate a chart from scratch given the basic birth information. Strongly recommend the course to anyone who is seriously about Astrology and want to learn beyond.

I loved this course, looking forward to every one of the twenty weekly lessons. It's smooth level of organisation and delivery shows a long-term commitment to refining an elegant, accessible, and highly professional learning environment. The notes were incredibly thorough without being pedantic or formulaic. I was impressed by how the STA supported their very strong craft-based, empathic and human-centred astrology with an awe and reverence for the spirit behind it. The pace for me was great, but I think it would have been a steep learning gradient for those without a solid sense of the basics. I am not normally a fan for on-line learning environments but found this course really worked for me, and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a deep, sensitive and practical understanding and experience of horary.

Amazing course. I was expecting a lot, and the material delivered. The tutors were skilled and capable communicators, leading me to feel supported while learning the fundamentals through to complicated, real-life chart examples. The step-by-step approach and way the materials builds creates confidence and faith in the techniques presented. My only regret is that I did not have more time in my schedule to engage with all the facets of the course - there was so much to learn and I had less time to commit than I had hoped.

I took the Horary Practitioners Level course and loved every minute of it. The material is top-notch, the tutors are kind, intelligent, and patient, and never fail to motivate their students. The tutors' knowledge of astrology is second to none. If you are looking for astrology courses that challenge you, even if you are already knowledgeable, I recommend studying with STA. I am glad I took this course and will definitely be back for other STA courses in the near future.

I joined the horary practitioners course. Great course material of traditional astrology, thoroughly researched and presented in a high quality. I loved the likeable tutors/presenters and live sessions which had been a lot of fun and a great learning experience.

I highly recommend the STA horary practitioner course to all those who are serious about astrology and want to take their skills to the next level. Beginners will immediately gain the foundational knowledge they'll need while experienced astrologers will find that the first sessions nicely complement what they already know. At the end, you can confidently judge horary charts with rigour but also flexibility. You learn a set of techniques and a number of philosophical principles which will guide you in your practice, no matter what charts you work with: horary, natal, electional. The course is very well organized and nicely paced. You have graded assignments at the end of every session, so that you don't slack off or get lost and you learn from living astrology legends such as Deb Holding and Lee Lehman.

As someone who is still relatively new to astrology, I feel enormously lucky to have discovered this course at this point. The tutors are exceptionally thoughtful, precise, and clear.

Their focus on the practical side of astrology brings the whole art into new focus, something I have not seen to this degree elsewhere. Additionally, the work that is put into the course structure and the materials presented is of the highest quality and beyond that of other courses in any subject area. I say that as someone who has taken online courses from an Ivy League school.

I appreciate the people behind this course, they seem to genuinely care about the present and the future of astrology and are committed to transmitting it through clear and empathetic instruction.

I took the horary practitioner's course and I understand some hesitancy about trusting so many 5 star reviews as I've been to some places for food where it was not actually 5 stars in terms of food quality. I promise you that this course really is 5 stars.

Deborah Houlding has treated and nourished this course like her child and it shows. Her and her team teach you all the basics to make sure you feel competent as a practitioner of horary and she provides numerous ways to test and evaluate your understanding, including various chart discussions, which I hugely appreciated. One of the most helpful things I found was being able to ask questions on the forum and clarify and nuance topics. They do a good job of stating when techniques won't give you as much "bang for your buck," so are not things to focus on in terms of becoming a competent practitioner. I was hesitant about the cost at first, but now, having finished the course, I wish I had done it sooner. I hope to one day return and do the diploma course! I cannot recommend this course enough.

From the moment I received the introductory material for this course, I genuinely felt a portal open. I found my spot on the magic carpet and rode for twenty weeks entranced, with my jaw agape as we traveled through the stars and time itself!

The course was impeccable. Our erudite tutors revealed Horary's mysteries with the greatest integrity, patience, and respect. Each week was challenging as the material was so cleverly structured to build a solid foundation for the fledgeling ~ or even seasoned ~ practitioner.
