Great company to work with from start to finish, nothing was an issue, great at problem solving. Delivered a great product to our client, will definitely be using them again in the future.

The team at Stace roofing have been professional throughout the large project we undertook together. Organising and fulfilling all aspects of their portion of the job it left me to concentrate on other areas with the peace of mind that their aspect would be completed on time and carried out to a high standard.

Stace Roofing team helped me out in my time of need following a water leak with my kitchen/dinner flat roof with works carried to encapsulate the balcony parapet, thereby mitigating water ingress.

I would like too sincerely thank Andrew and Greg, for their understanding and generosity for over a year in trying to locate a leak on one of our flat roofs, they did every thing possible, although it wasn't within their remit I would not hesitate too recommend this company.

A chimney came down in bad weather and Stace Roofing came out on an emergency call.
Greg was extremely helpful through a very stressful experience. The repair was carried out as quickly as possible and to a high standard.

I contracted Stace Roofing to replace the existing leaking roof on my utility shed and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The new roof was a fibreglass laminate structure which was installed quickly and efficiently by the workman who were friendly and professional. I was extremely impressed by the finished result which is 100% waterproof. I would recommend Stace Roofing without reservation.

I contacted Stace Roofing to request a visit for a possible roof leak. The communication and booking confirmation was efficient and Andrew visited yesterday. We found him to be very trustworthy, experienced with an honest, pleasant attitude. Considering that the issue may be due to condensation and not roof damage, we have not proceeded further. With that in mind, Andrew was delightful and no charge was made. Would definitely contact for any future needs. Many thanks!

A well recommended local roofing company, but with rather one sided attitude in terms and conditions.
We received some 5 calls, three phone messages and a number of emails over a small project (<4.5K), which seems a lot, but when we actually received the quote, this was detailed (for the most part), but included a set of terms and conditions that placed the majority of the emphasis for the work on us, and required almost instant payment, with relatively aggressive penalty clauses, and much lower guarantees in the "standard" terms than quoted in the details. Had a fairly aggressive response (at 8 am) from the owner when we pointed out that we could not work with the terms as stated.
Could not recommend the company as the final position is unsatisfactory, and it appears that they simply bully customers into accepting their demands.

In response to Andrew Stace - we tried to discuss the terms, but you refused to discuss any elements, and stated that you would not vary or explain any terms, as these were your standard, and not open to any review or clarification.

If you had been prepared to discuss things, then we would have been open to assurances (which you seem now to be giving), as we deal regularly with companies that have apparently one sided terms. We expected to compromise around the worst elements, with some simple explanations and assurances.

Payment phases was actually not the primary concerns, but the threat of penalty if not promptly cleared payments was a major factor. Without any proposed dates for work schedule (we have holidays booked in near future) how could we guarantee to inspect the work and pay immediately on completion? Plus the need for us to agree to clearly inconsistent elements (which are nearly always present in general terms, which are not specific to every size of job) which therefore required some clarification to avoid potential later problems.

Sorry that you find this unfair, but I was shocked by how aggressively you approached what should have been handled as a minor query. Especially as we were mainly asking for correction to match previous discussions (during your site visit) to be included in written offer.

Luckily Stace are not the only local Roofing suppliers, and many of these alternatives also offer similar guarantees, with less aggressive attitude, and similar reputations and costs.

This may have been a bad day, but if so then someone less aggressive could have resolved our concerns, and the issue would not have arisen, and they would have been providing the service requested. The 8 a.m. call seems to highlight that this was going to be badly handled.

Still can't suggest that these are a good supplier, as I really hate someone trying to intimidate me into their option being "only show in town", and I shudder to think what would happen to someone with less experience about dealing with aggressive calls.

Appalling service. Could not do the work they quoted for at the price they quoted to do it. Not surprising considering that someone surveyed, someone else quoted and someone else arrived to do the work and no compromise offered by way of solution. Three different lots of sub-contractors used. Had to get them back 3 times to do the work properly. Unhelpful and rude response to complaint - very unprofessional.

We all know the horrors of roofing "specialists" ... When it started to rain inside my airbnb due to failing flat roof I started a trawl of roofing "experts" but Stace seemed calm, informative with a very good guide explaining pros and cons of different roofing methods. I have booked an appointment with them to have a look at what is needed and so far they have been v responsive, knowledgeable and quick. I'll let you know how it all goes!!

Had a roof survey done today by the lovely Andrew, he was very informative and professional with alot of good tips and advice that he didn`t really need to tell me but he went over and above which gives me big confidence in the Company as a whole, we are now awaiting the quote for work that needs to be done so watch this space. Contacted Stace Roofing via email, replied very quickly, spoke to Jane next day,very helpful and easy to talk to. Arranged a survey date,looking forward to the survey and hopefully a satisfactory completion.

Excellent, they responded to my enquiry immediately, very friendly, polite and efficient.

I found a leak in the ceiling of my kitchen a few weeks ago, so I phoned Stace roofing (I'd used them before) they came out had a look and showed me the photos of the damage. I agreed there quote and they came last week to put a new roof on and they were as professional as they were when they came 6 years ago. A good firm deserving recognition. Reasonable price, excellent service.

I called in the morning and also submitted an email request, by early afternoon I had a response in person and booked an appraisal appointment for the following day. Service, politeness, professionalism and responsiveness could not have been be better!

From the moment I contacted the company, they were very courteous and professional. Andrew was very knowledgable and provided excellent advice, including a variety of solutions. Highly recommended and would definitely employ for any future roofing work.

We used Stace Roofing to replace an old flat roof to an extension on our house. We realised right from Greg’s first visit that the company knew their stuff & we decided to go for a warm rubber roof. Tom & Callum arrived in -2 temperature & worked none stop throughout. When the job was finished on the second day there was no mess left at all. The scaffolding had been requested to be taken down the next day. The roof is great with new guttering & downpipe & there has been a marked difference in the the temperature in the rooms under the new roof. We can certainly recommend Stace Roofing to do a sterling job.

I left a message and was contacted within 2-3 hours. I explained the problem and was given a date for a visit which I felt was good. Obviously my concern was met with understanding and professionalism.
