Very efficient but I couldn't find the acceptance emails which got hidden with hundreds of other emails in my tray

Sam Carroll, dealt with my request quickly and positively, leading to an excellent conclusion. Standard Life are an excellent company to deal with.

Competent dealing with my queries and application for further drawdown funds. I had a problem with seeing my bank account details printed on your online form so prepared and submitted a similar proforma with the other details. Thus my bank account details were kept secure albeit I was impressed with your DocuSign option which worked very well and speedily. Thank you - a great improvement on my last application for drawdown funds!

On our initial call to the Drawdown Team we were informed of the time scale for any monies to reach our account. Due to commitments it had to be sooner this was due to us not understanding the time scale required for any draw down.
We were informed by Sam Carroll that Standard Life would do their best to speed things along and they certainly did, as from point of contact it only took 2 weeks for us to have the money in our account.
This was because we had great communication with Sam Carroll which leaves us being very satisfied and impressed by the service Standard Life are providing.

Always polite and fairly speedy in responding always give a wider time frame to cover themselves but has always been far quicker highly recommended 👍

The online completion of the form made the drawdown much easier. However, having been told on line I would get a call in a few days it took me to chase to then find out it had been referred to the underwriters. When I did get a call I was told it would take a few more days but took much longer before I received the documentation. From me sending it in Sam has dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Whole process has taken nearly a month.

The introduction of an online form as alternative to making a phone call has made the processing of requests straightforward and time saving.
Application to Completion was also carried out quickly in around eight calendar days.

The process is now much more straightforward than previously when I had to apply for funds via letter.
Only downside; it takes around 5 days to receive the email requesting my electronic signature.
After signature, the process is very quick.

Prompt response when contacted. Dealt very well with questions relating to contract signing and follow up was excellent. Sam Carroll most helpful and got advice when unsure of answer to my question.

My wife sadly had a severe stroke in February 2019. The stroke has affected her speech.
This morning Lucy R from Standard Life and a lady from Relay UK were very patient with my wife and enabled her to confirm and approve the equity draw down to help pay her care costs.
Lucy and the Relay assistant showed great kindness, care and respect in helping my wife.

Standard Life Home Finance are an exceptional company and I could not possibly be happier with the way my issue has been dealt with so quickly, and professionally.
The person I dealt with,Sam Carroll, was extremely kind and helpful, very professional at the same time and I asked if I could possibly have some more money from my drawdown savings. I received an email yesterday saying within five days I should get the official offer yet it arrived the following day( today), it’s all been signed and within a couple of hours received another email saying my money would be available at the end of the week! I couldn’t have asked for more than that. A huge thank you all round to such fantastic service!
