Hi,

We offer a generous grace period for you to arrive within. If you are outside of this time, as detailed in your email confirmation, then charges apply. We run a business and if customers could turn up whenever they wanted there would be little point in operating an appointment system. If you arrived over an hour late for a dentist appointment, for instance, you would need to rebook and would have to pay for the missed appointment!

Our shuttle buses are cleaned daily.

Drop is at the Radisson Blu Hotel where all Park & Ride services operate from! This is the closest point to the terminal building for park & ride.

We have operated for 19 years and are fully professional at all times. We would suggest that had you arrived on time your perception would have been completely different and not made out of spite.

We will always reply honestly and do not embellish the truth. Just because you do not agree with us does not make you right or us unprofessional.

You are mistaken as to other companies policies. All companies provide a grace period after which charges apply. As previously stated there would be little point having an appointment system if they did not!

As we have said we work on an appointment system. We need to calculate how many customers per shuttle. If customers just turned up when they wanted there could be prolonged waiting times!
The drop off is next to the terminal building and on the airport property. There is no transfer fee. Transfers are free of charge and customers sign an agreement to this. The charge of £2.50 is for the airport levy fees which are paid to enter and exit the drop off point. This is detailed in the email confirmation and on the website when booking. We cannot be held responsible if you did not read the information provided.!

All three are aware that they are not running a legitimate service. They do not have any insurance cover to drive customer vehicles and they do not have planning permission from Uttlesford District Council for Airport related parking. Hi we must address your review and correct the information that you provided.

1: Yes you were 1 hour and 20 mins after your booked time. You were not told that it would be ok. You were informed that you would need to rebook as you were outside of the grace period that is detailed on you confirmation that you had in your possession.
No changes to our procedures and T&Cs were made.
2: It was explained to you that any information provided to you incorrectly by the booking agents should be addressed directly with them.
3: you paid a discounted daily rate that took into consideration of your previous payment. You could have parked in the short stay car park. It is you responsibility to leave sufficient time for your journey to the airport. If you were late for your flight and the check in time was closed then you would have had to have made a new booking!
4: There would be no point in having an appointment system if you could just arrive when you wanted!
5: There was no breach of trading standards and you did indeed have a choice to park elsewhere.
6: A2Z did not agree that we breached the T&Cs they agreed that THEY provided the incorrect information to you, as explained to you when you called us directly.
7: A2Z refunded you the money because they were at fault. We explained the situation with you and eventually you decided to take our advice and were able to recover your money.
We care about customers and provide help where needed. A customer is not always right and we will not be bullied into accepting liability when we are not at fault. This does not make bad customer service. Customers should act courteously towards our staff and conduct themselves is the same way as they would expect us to.

All three are aware that they are not running a legitimate service.
