Whole place was filthy
Whole place was filthy from the bins to the floors. Old cups left on tables with no effort or desire to be cleaned or cleared away by the un busy female staff. The gents toilets were horrific

Starbucks has gone downhill in my opinion
I contacted customer services over a week ago. The response says we will get back to you but still nothing and Iâve chased it up but still no reply.
I went in again yesterday and exactly the same. Students grabbed the tables, drinks under par and still no response from Customer services.
I get that itâs exam time but students are taking three tables to push them together yet only purchasing one drink. They then sit there for hours without purchasing anything else.
I have a disability and had to sit on a chair, with no table to rest my cup on, as the place was full of students all with laptops huddled together. 10 out of 13 tables had no drinks or food and even sat with their drink bottles on their tables whilst studying. 13 out of 17 tables were taken by students who sit for hours with friends studying.
My drink was definitely not as full as usual and had so much more froth on top plus it was luke warm.
The toiletsâŠ. Are they ever checked !!
In the news today it states a well known coffee establishment, not Starbucks, is not allowing students to study there without an adult buying drinks etc.
Starbucks is just going downhill for all the above reasons. They are so slow with orders so a queue often builds up. Itâs certainly not for people to sit in as the students have been allowed to take over nearly all tables without buying anything so no space.
Anyway thanks for your reply Starbucks, NOT. If youâve no intention of responding then donât bother having an online form and generic email stating youâll get back to me.

So I called in to Starbucks on the Hereford Road Shrewsbury store number 24413 as I would like a drink and something to eat. I saw that lady at the counter eventually have to wait in a few minutes which wasnât a problem and I ordered a ham and cheese toastie a Matcha and a pack of crisps. This come over quite promptly however the toasted cheese sandwich was not cutting in half and they gave me a very flimsy wooden knife which when I went to use snapped so I took it back to the counter and asked him to cut it they said they werenât allowed to cut it and they had no knives except for the wooden ones. I asked them how I was expected to eat it without cutting it in half and they looked at me blankly. I asked them for a refund which they finally did and the lady that gave me the refund clearly was annoyed because she could hardly smile or even say thank you disgraceful Iâve been a customer of Starbucks for many years however seeing your latest policy about pets and dogs because youâre going to the Hello ð meat policy I think itâs time to leave looking at your reviews. They are appalling and you ought to be taking note of it. Iâm trying to do something about it.
Two wrong take out coffees.
Went to Starbucks bury st edmunds, ordered a cappuccino and black coffee to take out. Friend realised half way through her cappuccino that it was just milk, took it back got another one. Sat inside to Finish our drinks, popped the lid off my black coffee near the end to discover it had milk in it, had my name and black coffee written on it! Wondered why it tasted odd. ð€ Luckily I'm not lactose intolerant! Tip... check your take outs before leaving. Not going back.
Totally disrespectful staff
Visited Starbucks Glencoe Rd Hayes yesterday and although I was first in the queue the lady decided to ignore me and serve the person of the same ethnicity, as her, behind me. When I asked why she said " I did not see you ", so there I am stood in front of the person she served before me at 189 cm and 109 kgs and she could not see me. When I pointed out that I was not impressed with that and said I will probably not return her reply was " Fine ". As I waited to get my Latte she went and spoke to the Barrista who then made the weakest Latte I have ever had. So be warned that if you do not like being disrespected for you ethnicity and served C**P coffee then avoid Starbucks. I will go to Costa instead.

I would just like to praise the manager Peter and staff at Starbucks Barrowbrook. I found the staff to be pleasant and attentive to all customers needs on observation. They worked hard and worked well as a team which is refreshing to see after previous visits which disappointed me with a different manager.
The staff appeared happy which helped me relax during my visit.
Well done team Barrowbrook. May it continue to restore my faith in this branch.

To be greeted with that off tone in his voice quite frankly didn't bode well with me as believe me i'm usualy a calm person having worked in hospitality all of my working life. Was not happy today. I am a regular visitior to this cafe but perhaps ill now change my coffee suplier.
Made to Feel Like a Burden for Ordering Baby Chino
Today my daughter and I visited the Starbucks branch near Colchester Institute, and unfortunately the customer service was extremely disappointing.
We ordered two baby chinos, something we regularly get alongside other drinks we purchase from Starbucks. From the moment we approached the counter, both members of staff at the front appeared cold and unwelcoming. One staff member in particular responded quite rudely when I asked about the price of bottles, simply saying, âAt the bottom,â in a dismissive tone.
What shocked me most, however, was the baby chinos we were given. The cups were almost completely empty, filled almost entirely with froth and barely any milk underneath. When I politely pointed out that the cups seemed empty, I was told, âWell, theyâre baby chinos. Thatâs what they are.â
I understand baby chinos are complimentary, but that should not mean customers are made to feel like a nuisance for asking for them. If staff are unhappy serving them because they are free, then perhaps Starbucks should reconsider offering them altogether. Customers should still be treated respectfully regardless of what they order.
In the end, the drinks were undrinkable and went straight in the bin. We left feeling unwelcome and undervalued, which is disappointing as this is not the standard I expect from Starbucks.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would but I can't!! Whoever was working on the 30/04/2026 16:15 they have horrendous manners and attitude and do not know how to serve customers!! Very rude attitude. The drink is perfect thought just a shame it was made by someone with such bad manners. Disappointed with my experience today. Normally the staff are cheerful, however the two on today was not.

I am a university student and I use my uni days app to help save money, every time I go to Starbucks on a Tuesday for the £2 tall drink they donât except my Starbucks code, some places do some places donât, what is the point of having a discount to be told you canât use it, DISGUSTING, Starbucks please SORT YOURSELFS OUT, with the prices of everything now, you could at least let a girl use use the discount code to save abit of money Or DONT ADVERTISE IT !!!!!!!!! I wanted a nice cup of tea before embarking on a train journey. Customers do not appreciate a big bucket of tea (with price to match) for three reasons. 1) they may be, like me, on a budget, and not wish to pay c£7 for 2 inelegant buckets of tea!! 2) On a journey, the customer may not want to drink the equivalent of 5 cups of tea as there may not be a toilet to hand 3) they may like a decent cup of tea - in a cup - with decent oat milk (not the variety used in my cup). But the main issues are not the milk, it is the sizing and pricing. It seems that capitalism always comes first - customer satisfaction at bottom of list of priorities!
