Awful every single step of the way.
Everything is confusing, everything has to be explained multiple times. There is no effective communication. They ask for money before they've done anything. Worst experience I've ever had with a law firm. I'll never recommend this place.

We had a disappointing experience with STBB. Throughout the property purchase process, we adhered to all deadlines and procedures. However, when we couldn't sign a document due to a pre-booked travel commitment—which we had informed them about—they reacted poorly. Despite our assurance that we would sign as soon as we returned to Cape Town, they were unprofessional, threatened the deal, and made the process unnecessarily stressful. We will not be using their services in the future.

Used STBB to do the legal bits in the sale of our house and purchasing of our new house.

Screamed and shouted at by Maryana Botha for complaining about receiving unsolicited marketing information. Call was recorded by me.

STBB handled my transfer in an adequate manner, but then they took money that I had paid for my City of Cape Town Rates clearance - and used it to pay someone else. They're extremely slow to respond or take any action. They don't care that my credit rating is now at risk because of their mismanagement.

I unfortunately made the same experience with STBB Cape Town. Would maybe not call them shady but they are surely extremely unreliable, neglecting promises, ignoring deadlines. Really never again.

Not sure why there seems to be no review on this company on trustpilot at all. I consider them a very unreliable company as in my case one of their lawyers promised to follow up on some issue for several days in a row but neglected those promises again and again. Google them, read the reviews and just stay away!
