A returning Customer
a returning Customer and as always I had an excellent experience purchasing and receiving my bed. As a wheelchair user, I really appreciated how understanding and attentive Kevin and Mark was to my specific needs—they made the whole process feel easy and comfortable.
The delivery service was just as impressive. The drivers called an hour before arriving, which gave me plenty of time to prepare. They were professional, considerate, and made sure everything went smoothly.
Overall, fantastic customer service from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Just one little niggle away from 5 stars
Excellent service from the in store staff and the wardrobes are great. Unfortunately I am not able to give 5 stars because despite emphasising that the access road required a smaller van, the delivery company used claimed that this had not been passed onto them meaning that they had a very tricky time turning their large van in the small space available.

Great experience!
Quiet, Sunday morning drive from Aberdeen and happened upon Sterling, Montrose. Did a quick u-turn so we could have a browse. We were met by Jason - who MUST be the jewel in the crown of Sterling’s staff. The most approachable and engaging salesman in the WORLD, never mind Montrose, who gave us the two things we like in a salesman - no pressure & friendly guidance.
Ended in an impromptu purchase of 3 items.

Pleasant furniture shopping
Visiting the showroom is a relaxed experience. There is no hard sell and you can take your time. The team were very helpful and Christine in particular was very good at answering our questions and dealing with the sale in a thorough and efficient manner.

Have your physical payment card with you!
Really lovely service from both Julie and Christine at the Montrose branch - couldn’t fault them at all. Absolutely first class.
However, when we came to pay our deposit, the card machine wouldn’t accept contactless over £100…….its a furniture shop! Who buys anything less that £100? Obviously a company thing and out of the hands of local staff. But come on Sterling - move with the times!

We completely understand your frustration around the contactless limit when paying your deposit. In a furniture store, most purchases naturally exceed £100, so not being able to use contactless isn’t ideal. While this is down to our current payment provider and not the branch team, your feedback is really valuable, and it’s something we’re actively reviewing so we can offer a more modern and convenient payment experience in the future.

Visited the Montrose store had excellent service from Christina ? She ordered my item and I went in to collect yesterday and the 2 guys were excellent also
My item was perfect looks great in my home .
I Would have preferred a delivery as I’m in Dundee ,but too expensive unfortunately .
