We recently appointed Steve to carry out a survey on a house ahead of our next family house move. We used him 8 years ago when purchasing our family home then and I was so glad he was still available. He is extremely responsive, thorough and just so helpful throughout the process.

Survey for a second property for me. As always, super detail oriented. I am very paranoid about leaks and damp issues, but I'm calm when Steven does the survey as I know he'll pick up on any faults and report them, with explanations and images. He follows up surveys with calls where he goes through any concerns and explains any issues that might not be well known to people who are not so experienced with period property.

Steve Stone booked in my full structural survey immediately on instruction which gave the estate agents comfort that I was keen to proceed. I have just received my survey back and it has highlighted numerous issues, some pretty major, that I failed to spot over 2 viewings. I am now negotiating on the price after he instructed me to obtain specialist quotes for the remedial works needed. This will likely save me thousands of pounds. This report is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
