We required storage during a particularly difficult time and this was all co-ordinated online and on the phone with Glenn. He was so friendly and helpful, and made the entire process easy.

Great, generous staff! Beautiful building with a charming history in a quiet suburban area. Easy to sign up, store & visit. It's our first time renting a storage locker while we travel light around house sits in Melbourne after recently immigrating and it's well worth the price and size of their smallest lockers.

Unfair penalty fees for early end of agreement
The minimum period of storage is one month. We ended the agreement early. When we sought to finalise the booking, we were asked to pay a penalty on top of the full month that we had already paid. This seems highly unusual in circumstances where we are not being refunded for the duration of storage not used. I suggest not asking customers for penalty fees unless they are being refunded pro rata for time not used.

A good storage option
Glenn and the team are very friendly, going out of their way to help and provide advice. The prices are reasonable and there is a wide variety of storage options. Only two things to note - minimum rental period is one month so if you’re storing short term you may end up paying for time you won’t use; and there is no access on Sundays, only during extended business hours Monday to Saturday.

Yeah, storage is storage, however the customer service that Glenn and his team provide is second to none. I highly recommend storage king to anyone looking for a short or longterm storage solution.

Great service at a good price. Glenn at Richmond has been incredibly helpful and informative throughout. I cannot fault the service from him.
