What a brilliant helpful company this is. Being partly disabled I asked for help and got it straight away. A great pity there are not many more companies like this

I bought an NG extruder from another company. When it arrived I discovered it did not fit my 3D printer. I wanted to know what was different so I contacted Micro Swiss customer support. The support engineer told me that there was a $16 part that would convert what I had to fit my printer. He also told me about the printable bed leveling bracket I would need. I ordered the part and received it 3 days later. I am really impressed with the knowledge of the support person and the great service I received. I will always order Micro Swiss items directly from the company in the future.

I used to buy cheap PTFE tubes in bulk and still had filament jams every time I tried to go above 230°C for ABS and PETG, because PTFE grows at those temperatures and strangles the incoming filament. For just a little extra, all heat problems went away like in a professional printer. With their all metal hotend kit instead of the PTFE heat insulation tubes, all I have to worry about is leveling the first layer with a few test runs until the brim looks perfect.

One can also use cooling paste and additional heatsinks, but replacing plasic extruder parts in a machine that melts plastic feels like a no brainer after having seen the original plastic parts break down regularly.
