I just got back from my third time Loreto trip! Kate and Ramses were fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The swimming areas were exceptional - clear water and an unending amount of sea life. The mountain range behind Loreto makes for an even more beautiful setting. The whole thing was perfect! And it has been every time I go. Don't miss Loreto.

I did my first swimming holiday with Strel in Symi, Greece. The coaches, Toby and Aoife, were extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. I felt safe with them at all times. The group was from all around the world and I had a ton of fun getting to know them.

The island offered breathtaking views both inside and outside of the water. Weather was perfect, although mid of October. Water was around 21 degrees.

Well structured overall. I am already planning my next trip with Strel.

I had a fantastic holiday with Strel. The guides, Jo and Steve were excellent - both professional and fun.
The swimming was well organised and it was great to spend each day on the lovely gulet and in the water.
Fabulous food, a good hotel and superb company made this a perfect holiday.

Everything about this Strel holiday was fantastic. It was my first swimming holiday. So well organised with very friendly and experienced coaches. We stayed in Kas and were taken to great swimming spots every day. Particularly loved the 5 island swim and the sunken ruins. The food provided on the boat was lovely and we had plenty of time to relax and chat to the other members of the group and get valuable swimming tips from the coaches.I would thoroughly recommend this as a relaxing but also energetic holiday. One of the highlights was seeing turtles in the harbour of Meiss on the last evening. Thank you Jo and Steve

We had a really great week. The coaches Jo and Steve were outstanding. All the swims were well thought out, safe, and enjoyable. The water was warm and clear. Kas is a nice town with a large range of places to eat. The hotel was fine, and the group good fun. We are more than happy to use Strel again.

Had a great week of swimming, doing the Swim Sail Cruise – Lycian Way with Strel.
The swimming was superb, always in lovely spots, with crystal clear water, and a perfect water temperature, every day at around 24/25 C . Great guiding by Jo, always helpful and attentive to all swimmers, regardless of their ability.
The cruise boat was very good, with large and comfortable cabins, and nice social areas. The crew was really nice and helpful, and the food was wonderful at every meal!
The group was really nice too, and we had a great time together.
Definitely recommend it!

A truly memorable swim cruise holiday onboard a beautiful wooden gulet. Our coach, Jo, brought years of experience and endless funny stories - my stomach hurt from laughing so much. Also, hats off to the crew —Yusef, Fatma, Yüksel, and youngster Celal— they were all amazing. They made everyone feel at home from the very first day. The food onboard was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The boat was full of inviting lounge areas where you could relax, chat, or soak in the scenery. Each day was unique, with great swim stops and enchanting coastal views (due to rain the previous week, we were lucky to see a coastline dotted in spring green, although this was mid October). There were both planned and spontaneous land excursions, like the visit to a small island scattered with archaeological ruins, including the remains of ancient churches dating back as far as 700 BC. For those wanting a break from swimming, there were plenty of leisure options like kayaking and stand-up paddling. Best of all, our group gelled immediately - everyone was unanimous in their praise for how unique and special this experience was. It’s the sort of trip you find yourself raving about long after you’re back home.

A great destination in Kas and Jo and Steve helped to make this a really memorable trip. Fantastic swimming trips and dinner to Kastellorizia. Excellent care and attention to different swimming abilities.

Loved every minute! Amazing swims around the coast of Turkey, the sunken city and 5 islands were a particular highlight. The food on board was delicious- fresh Turkish food cooked every day by Nimet. Jo and Steve looked after us so well and gave tips on or swimming. I highly recommend and really hope to go again.

Beautiful venue with great swimming. The Strel swimming coaches and the boat captain chose were good at selecting the right spot on the day to make the best of the conditions.
Coaches were great company as well as excellent in providing advice.
Food on board hit the right spot.
Altogether made the week great fun.

Im almost a week home now from my Strel swimming holiday and im still missing it. This was my first experience of an organised swimming holiday but it certainly won't be my last. I enjoyed every minute of the experience, the warm water, the blue skies, the warmth of the sun on your skin, the feeling of freedom as your swimming along by coasts, the excitement of swimming the loop within a group of islands, the buzz of having a turtle or two share their water with you, the camaraderie with your fellow swimmers, the beautiful freshly prepared lunches, the reassurance that you always felt safe and could get out if you needed to. Our guides Aoife and Steve were just wonderful keeping us informed and giving us tips to enhance our experience both in the water and on our holiday in general. There was a lovely relaxed and fun feeling on board and I think that helped us connect and make friends with each other which we truly embraced. I found out swim assessment video and tips after most helpful and found myself repeating the advice "hand in the sleeve, fish in the pocket" with a smile on my face later as I was swimming through turquoise water. If you like swimming and nature and people this is your holiday for sure. It is truly nourishment for the soul. XXX🥰🥰🥰

I'm just back from my 2nd swim adventure with Strel and really recommend this holiday. Our guides Aoife and Stephen were both amazing and shared great swim tips and recommendations for local restaurants and shops while the lunch onboard was really tasty. Crystal clear, warm, turquoise water, turtles, stunning coastal scenery and a fantastic group - if you're thinking about booking a Strel swim holiday, just do it - it's incredible!

This was my second strel holiday (my first was in korcula, Croatia) so i knew i was in for another great adventure in a location carefully chosen by Borut to be pleasant, safe, interesting, uncommercial and with lovely warm swimmable waters. Our guides Aoife and Steve were encouraging and in- formative and made sure we all reached our daily goals - cleverly orchestrating a 14-strong group of mixed-ability swimmers to end up back at the boat at just about the same time. Each day was different with new locations to master, some more challenging than others, but Captain Osman ensured that we were always safe and in water that was sometimes choppy but never unswimable. And Mrs Osman kept us well fed with wholesome and delicious Turkish food throughout. Kas was fascinating with lots of great, modestly priced restaurants, lots of points of cultural interest from amphitheatres, to bustling markets, calls to prayer, and lots of sarcophaguses. I can't wait for my next Strel adventure.

I would give 6 stars to Strel swimming adventure holiday in Kas. Where to begin. Lovely accomodation and brekies espeically the fresh fruit and coffee machine. Lunches on the boat were freshkly cooked, varied and plentiful too. Fabulous warm tourqoise waters to swin in. We spotted four turtles over the week which blew my mind. I loved chilling in the sun on the boat after the swims too. Aoife and Steven gave me some great tips and guidance on improving my technique. Our guides couldn't have been more helpful and they were on to everything in and out of the water. They gave great tips on places to eat, shop and Kas in general. Steven walked us about Kas town and pointed out a Spa and the treatment was epic.Aoife brought us up to the local friday market which is really worth seeing too. We had lovely people in our group and seamlessly Steven and Aoife helped us gel and have an really amazing swim holiday. I am smiling as a
write this it. My advise is book a swim holiday with these guys. Just top class beginning to end.

Unforgettable experience in Strell swimming holiday in Symi was great! I had high expectancies, but got much more. Coaches Aoife and Toby are real professionals, trustable and friendly. It was amazing how they handle the group of different persons with different backgrounds. The athmosphere was so relaxed. Our group was wonderful. Planning already next trip with Strel! Highly recommended.

We had a great week of swimming in Symi, Greece. The trip was well organized with knowledgeable and friendly guides. The boat was spacious with multiple places to sit, including a covered area, and open areas on top and on the bow. I can 100% recommend this trip, and we will definitely go on another trip with Strel in the future. The swimming was fantastic, and the guides, Aiofe and Toby, found the best places for us to swim each day. Super-clear water and interesting coastlines. We often stopped at little beach front tavernas for lunch and we always had great meals at those. The hotel is very nice, and the staff was very friendly. On this trip, Strel provides kayaks and my non-swimming partner loved to kayak along with the swimmers. But the best part was getting to know the guides and the other swimmers. We all enjoyed each other's company while swimming, hanging out on the boat, eating meals, and just enjoying every minute of the trip. Excellent swimming, beautiful scenery, great food, comfortable boat, well-run logistics and wonderful people. Thanks!

Fantastic swimming holiday on Symi! The guides were both highly professional and genuinely friendly. The group included swimmers of very different ages and experience levels, but everyone was able to succeed and enjoy the swims at their own pace. The overall atmosphere was supportive and encouraging from start to finish.

Non-swimmers were also warmly welcomed, with great alternative activities like kayaking. I especially enjoyed the time between swims — relaxing on the boat, soaking up the sun and the beautiful sea views.

We missed the first night because the ferries between Rhodes and Symi were cancelled due to strong winds. If I had known this was a possibility, I would definitely have booked an extra night on Symi before the start of the camp.

This was my first swimming holiday, but probably not my last — I’ll definitely choose Strel again!

I recently did a Symi swim trip as a NON-SWIMMER. The entire experience was inclusive, caring, personal, accommodating, fun, and gorgeous. Kayaking w the swimmers was easy, and I felt very much part of the group. Guides Aoife and Toby were phenomenal. The tavernas and lunches were wonderful. The water was the clearest I've ever seen. Don't hesitate for a second!

I was 100% satisfied with Strel Swimming adventures. The time in Symi tested my abilities, stamina and endurance. I would not have had such a wonderful experience if it were not for the experienced staff. They knew how to relate to us each on a personal and professional basis. Their care and concern for us was superlative. They gave us precise directions without superfluous information. The 16 swimmers bonded beautifully and would like a reunion to occur! Special thanks to Aoife…..I hope she is on my next trip!

We had a fabulous week of sea swimming with Strel on Symi. The group of swimmers gelled from the moment we met and developed a bond that strengthened as the week progressed. Our guides, Aoife and Toby, created an atmosphere that ensured safe and enjoyable swimming. The memories of this adventure will last for a long time.
