This feels like a vicious cycle between low-quality bootcamps and StudentFinance. They sell false promises, leaving students with debt even if they don’t find a job in the field. There’s no real guarantee — you still have to pay even if you end up working in something completely different. It’s a toxic system that benefits them, not the students. Stay away from this cycle.

Es cierto que te ofrecen una formación que, dependiendo de tu experiencia previa, puede impulsarte hacia una mejora laboral significativa.

Sin embargo, su funcionamiento se asemeja al de entidades como Cetelem o Wizink en cuanto a las condiciones. Tienen cláusulas abusivas y los intereses se calculan sobre el "SALARIOBRUTO", no el NETO. En la práctica, esto significa que te quitan casi un 25% mensual en lugar del 12,5% que mencionan. Además, no te permiten liquidar la deuda de una sola vez, ya que te cobran el máximo permitido.

En mi caso, fue útil porque, debido a mi situación económica, era la única forma en que podía financiar mi formación. No obstante, mientras estuve desempleado, me presionaban constantemente. Me ofrecían trabajos que no estaban relacionados con mi campo de estudio, revisaban mis cuentas... La presión era similar o incluso peor que la de un banco o un prestamista informal.

Lo más preocupante es que, si no consigues trabajo en el área en la que te formaste, pero encuentras empleo en otro sector, igual tendrás que pagar.

Si puedes conseguir financiación por otro lado, hazlo. Yo terminé pagando casi el doble, con un 40% más de lo que debería. Ni los intereses de un banco de mala reputación son tan elevados.

Al final, conseguí trabajo, pero no gracias ni a la escuela ni a sus contactos empresariales, ni tampoco a Student Finance y sus montones de ofertas sinsentido que me obligaban a aplicar.

Contrato con cláusulas abusivas, lee claramente el contrato y no os fiéis ni un pelo de nada. Parece una mejor opción que un banco, pero es absolutamente peor, al final en un préstamo de 4mil tendrás que pagar 8mil, y si quieres amortización por adelantado no es pagar lo que te costó el curso, si no que debes pagar los 8mil para saldar la deuda. En definitiva y valorado por varios abogados se trata de un contrato con cláusulas abusivas .

Son una versión mejorada del timo de la estampita. Tan pronto te dicen oficialmente y por correo electrónico que tu solicitud ha sido aprobada, y además te felicitan por ello, como te dicen cualquier otro día que ha sido rechazada. Afortunadamente, son una opción más en el mercado. Pero no son nada serios ni profesionales.

I really wish there wasn't an option for 1 star. The student finance representative we have just spoken to, was by far one of the rudest, condescending individuals I have ever spoke to.
The entire conversation was dominated by her interrupting, asking questions and then again interrupting when my partner tried to give his reply. She wouldn't pass us onto her manager to make a formal complaint, nor would she gives us her full name to again make a complaint. She spoke to us like we were 5, " I'm giving you three strikes and then I'm hanging up on you" Absolutely horrific customer service! She made the issue 100 times worse then what it needed to be. Will defiantly be taking this further as no body should be spoken to in this way. Especially when she would have had to have training for this role.
