Most frustrating experience shopping for furniture in my life.

We ordered a bunch of furniture in the tune of almost $9k - things to know, if you order a bunch of furniture and some of them are not in stock, they hold the whole shipment. So if you order 6 dining chairs and 4 are not in stock, you get nothing till all are in stock. The painful part is you do not know till you order, even though the site says "ready to ship". They did offer to swap out for available chairs, but the ones they had available were of no interest to us.

We had to change some of our design to use Magee and Arhaus due to the frustration dealing with StyleMe, luckily we listened to our designer to wait a bit to see how shipping is resolved before putting all our eggs in that basket. To make matters worse, the only furniture we received came damaged, and the replacement is also not in stock, so it's been almost 2 frustrating months with no dining and living room furnitures. I advise you look somewhere else.

I can't give more than 1 start due to damaged on arrival furniture - though they are replacing it, but no replacement is received due to availability issues. I made the mistake of ordering ottomans hoping it was just a snafu, but again same issue, one in stock the other is not in stock and they can't send the one in stock till they have everything, even though this is shipped as separate items via Fedex!! (please help me understand the logic here, I can admit I am dumb). Objectively, what should i be happy about?

Please I will leave the edit and my original statement up + add an apology and bump up the rating if you can call out what exactly I misrepresented. I am happy to stand corrected.

We’re disappointed to see this review, as our customer service team made every effort to accommodate the customer’s needs while adhering to ETAs provided by our vendors.

One of the items in this order experienced an ETA change due to the quantity available, and we promptly provided options to help the customer proceed. Unfortunately, the customer stopped responding despite multiple follow-ups. We received a response regarding a different order, but the ETA issue was not acknowledged by the customer. After no response to our follow-ups, we informed the customer the order would remain as-is until they replied with specific instructions, but we assured them we were ready to assist whenever they were ready to communicate.

While damages during transit or manufacturing are rare, we understand they can occur. As soon as we were made aware of damage to the customer's order, we immediately reached out to provide transparent information about the ETA for a replacement. We also offered to explore other options if a replacement wasn’t preferred, inviting them to share their preference, but they preferred a replacement despite the ETA that was provided.

We feel our team went above and beyond to ensure the customer was supported. We maintained consistent communication, provided alternative solutions, and upheld a high standard of service throughout. We feel the situation has been misrepresented, and does not accurately represent the efforts of our Customer Service team. We are always ready and willing to assist. We appreciate you editing your response to explain the positive experience you had with the StyleMe team. Unfortunately, external factors outside of our control such as vendor supplied ETAs leave us little room for resolution, but we always aim to provide the best possible experience for our customers by being transparent, brainstorming alternatives and being as flexible as we can to ensure satisfaction. It appears your negative experience was caused by these unfortunate external factors we have little control over coupled with the high order volumes impacting in-stock availability from our vendors. The 1-star review seemed as though you were unhappy with our services, and misrepresented the exceptional A+ effort you experienced from our team. I have so many furniture and decor pieces from StyleGHD! Definitely my go-to online shop for my home decor needs! Love the quality and the incredible selections that have to pick from! Great quality AND service!

I have ordered lamps and kitchen decor from StyleMe before and always pleased with the quality of their collections! I have been eyeing a sofa and coffee table but was nervous buying furniture without seeing it in person first, but the Customer Service team was so helpful throughout my order process and helped me feel great about my final selection! They personally reached out to their vendor to inquire about my detailed questions and made me feel like they were really going above and beyond! Happy to report I ended up loving both pieces!

Very high Customer Service Levels

Very high Customer Service Levels. I was having internet issues over the holiday weekend when they had a sale going on, so I kept getting kicked out of the website and trying to place the order. When it finally went through, I realized had only ordered 2 and not 3. I immediately emailed them and received a quick reply, still over the holiday weekend, and they added a 3rd and sent me an invoice so I didn't have to place a separate order with a 2nd shipping fee for the 3rd one AND I captured the sale on it. I was so pleased!!!!

Personalized shopping experience

I wasn’t sure what to expect since I had not shopped here before, but all the beautiful furniture and decor on the website definitely drew me in. I was SO impressed with how attentive and thoughtful the customer service team was to my questions. It truly felt like a personalized shopping experience. Highly recommend!

CROOKS. DO NOT BUY. I AM ABOUT TO LAUNCH A LAWSUIT FOR NEARLY $10K AGAINST THEM. THEY TOOK MY MONEY, NEVER DELIVERED MERCHANDISE, CANCELLED MY ORDER (AFTER I CROSSED A BILLING PERIOD AND PAID FOR MORE FURNITURE TO GO AROUND THEIR DESK) AND THEN THEY CANCELLED THE ORDER B/C OF THEIR SYSTEM GLITCH AND HAVEN'T REFUNDED MY MONEY AND NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE OR EMAIL. SINCE I PAID FOR THE ITEM, I CAN'T GET IT TAKEN OFF MY STATEMENT AND NOW I HAVE A BUNCH OF OTHER FURNITURE THAT DOESN'T WORK. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. I PLAN TO TAKE THEIR BUSINESS DOWN.

We are very disappointed to see this fabricated review regarding the circumstances surrounding this order. Not only were we in constant communication with this customer through email, messages and by phone -- we tried our best to satisfy her needs while following the guidelines set by our vendors. We are unclear where the $10,000 figure is coming from, but, due to a website glitch, this customer purchased a $3339 desk system for $339 plus shipping and tax. This was an obvious error and was cancelled once it processed through our system. She was informed and refunded within 5 business days of the order date. We have no control over how long it takes the bank to refund the customer once we refund them on our end. As a small business, we offered her a generous discount from the correct price of $3339 to $2288 which was a $1,051 discount. She was adamant to receive the desk system for $339 and declined our offer. It is unfortunate that this situation has been so falsely described, but we stand by our customer service agents who go above and beyond to accomplish the needs of our customers with reasonable expectations.
