We have partnered with Subsplash since… 2020
We have partnered with Subsplash for over 5 years and have greatly benefited from the products, innovation, and service. Thank you for allowing us to deliver the Gospel and the word of God throughout the world!

I love that our church can integrate our app, website, events calendar, event registration, giving platform, and media library across one platform. I have worked with several website builders, and SnapPages (the builder Subsplash uses) is my favorite so far. Everything looks attractive and professional and all aspects are easy to use. Highly recommend!
Try it - you won't regret it!
We recently made the transition to Subsplash for our giving platform and have been so impressed with the customer service as well as how easy the platform is to use. Try it! You won't regret it.
Great All-in-One Church Platform
We use Subsplash at a large multi-campus church in the Tampa Bay, Florida area serving more than 5,000 people in weekly attendance with an additional 1,500+ watching online each week. Because of that scale, having a reliable and centralized digital platform is critical for our communication and ministry operations.
Subsplash has become a core part of how we manage our digital ecosystem. We use it for our church app, website integration, sermon media, event management, and push notifications to keep our congregation informed and engaged throughout the week. The platform allows our team to quickly publish content, manage series and messages, and communicate across multiple campuses without needing a complicated workflow.
What we appreciate most is how the different pieces of the platform work together. Instead of juggling multiple disconnected tools, Subsplash allows us to manage much of our digital ministry from one system. It has been a dependable platform that continues to add useful features for churches and ministries.
I would recommend giving it a try for your church or nonprofit.
Great product, great service
As a product, they had everything we needed and at a reasonable price. Their support is helpful and knowledgeable. Each step of our onboarding process was smoother than expected. They are also committed to making improvements to their products, which is also very much appreciated.
Worth a Try
In the world of churches, we are a step above "tiny," but our desire is to have the best digital presence we can muster. We know it will not be "epic" or monumental but we will be present. Subsplash has allowed that to happen for us with relative ease. We have a website. We have an app. We have assistance preparing study and promotional materials based on Sunday and Wednesday teaching events. We have a venue for online giving for those who desire to do so.
Have we seen all the advances Subsplash promised? No. But we have seen engagement in our particular culture and community we might not have seen otherwise. Frankly, we know our content is focused in a way that will not draw huge attention in the church world. Subsplash isn't opening doors we can't open ourselves. They are helping us manage the doors we can open. They are responsive and helpful. They have adequate opportunities for learning the Subsplash system that are readily accessible.
Ask a lot of questions. Take some of the presented possibilities as only possibilities. But don't be afraid to give them a chance. Our public presentation is degrees better than it was.

A smooth and very easy web creation…
A smooth and very easy web creation design features. I have enjoyed working with SubSplash to get our church caught up on the web presence side. We have seen a rise in attendance and online giving since our new site and apps have gone online. I am sure you will too.
Subsplash has helped our church in communication and growth.
Subsplash has helped our church transform our communications with our multigenerational congregation. By changing to Subsplash, we are more organized to handle the new growth in our church. Also, the change to Subsplash has allowed us to eliminate a lot of excess expenses and therefore allows us more monies for ministries.
Highly Recommend
We are a church of about 200. We had a nightmare of a situation with Cloversites and were more than ready to switch to something else, when Subsplash reached out to us. We were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of all the people we interacted with at Subsplash. They were not pushy, which I liked. Our website and app look amazing and professional. There are so many capabilities and they will be rolling out more. Their tutorials are super helpful and their AI agent has helped me with almost every question I've had in setting everything up. Even though it's more pricey than some others, what you get is worth it. I am very impressed with Subsplash and highly recommend it.
Not concerned about the needs of smaller churches
I went with Subsplash because a sales guy reached out to me. It sounded like it would be great for us to continue what we were doing on a much cleaner platform. Plus, we would get a new website and an app. I was concerned about signing a contract because I've seen other churches get locked into a product that didn't fit them. I voiced this concern to the sales guy, and he reassured me that he couldn't imagine his company keeping a church in a product that would not be a good fit. So, against my better judgment, I signed the contract. The transition went well. The onboarding sessions for the app development process were just overwhelming. I am the only pastor who can work on the app. We really didn't even need an app, and the sales guy didn't do his due diligence to find out what our biggest needs were.
All that was enough, but then our first major event, where we used a registration form, occurred. The form was easy to create and to share. Everything was going great until I went to send out a follow-up text to the 160 attendees. I couldn't do it using Subsplash. I had to export my spreadsheet and use our old system, which I still had access to (thankfully). Our old system was super user-friendly.
I called my sales guy to let him know my experience and to request that we break the contract. It then got awkward and hard. He had to go to his boss and ask for an exception. They gave us a little mercy. We had to pay for $400 for very limited use over not even a month of use and very light use at that. I was not happy, but my hands were tied. Lesson learned.
Fast forward a few months, and my bookkeeper tells me that Subsplash has not transferred funds to our bank account from donations made in November (two months ago). I logged into the dashboard and discovered that they were holding onto $1,400. I chatted with support, and a ticket was created almost three weeks ago as of today. There is still a little over $800 that is in a "pending" status. It's like pouring salt into a wound.
Subsplash may be good for big churches, but it just doesn't work for us. They are more concerned about locking you into a contract and selling you products you don't even need than they are about your ministry. This is big business trying to pretend they care about ministry. So sad.
I would not recommend that anyone use this company, but especially not smaller churches.
When I went to cancel my automatic…
When I went to cancel my automatic withdrawal I simply deleted my account. That apparently does not stop the withdrawal process. Once your account is deleted you can not sign back in. I've had to contact the Church I use to give to for them to cancel it. A huge hassle to say the least.
We searched for literally years for the…
We searched for literally years for the right app for our para-church ministry from private developers to other off-the-shelf solutions. We put off using SubSplash because we aren't a church. Even though there are many features we don't use without a "congregation", there are many that we do, including Giving, Web, the App, and ROKU.
Smaller churches should think long and hard
We decided Subsplash was not worth the money for a small church like ours. The features were great, loved the website and app, but did not need the extra and still had to pay for it. I wanted to cancel. They forced me into a mandatory meeting with my "client success manager" on 12/18/2025 in order to cancel. He agreed to cancel before our upcoming renewal on 1/31/2026.
They billed our account and forced it to be overdrawn. I am now trying to get someone there to help. Customer service hides behind a wall of AI chat and meeting scheduling tools.
I would absolutely tell any smaller church to really think about whether or not you need the extras. We went with them to have an app with the website. It is a great concept, but not worth the frustration when things don't go smoothly.
Update 2-10-26: The debited amount was refunded after several days of back and forth and my bank gave us the overdraft fees back. I stand behind what I said about the ongoing support structure they have put in place. It was much easier to reach a person when we were new customers...in fact there is an option for that on their phone line listed on the website. If you select the support option, it tells you to schedule a meeting with their team on your dashboard (first option was more than a week away) and then hangs up.
Overall, Happy With the Service
We are a small church and teamed up with Subsplash as they offer all of the functionality we wanted, Website, website builder, cellphone app, church member management, live streaming and contributions. I personally am involved with the website and cell phone app. Others in the church are involved with the membership and financial functions. After using the service for slightly over 2 years, we are happy with the service provided. My questions have largely been associated with using the website builder, and have always been answered. Might take a day or two, but I have always received an informed response. The website builder offers a lot of options for building the web site, so a bit of a learning curve. The finance person uses the service to track contributions and generate tax statements. The membership person has created a membership database and generated a church directory. The live streams are relatively easy to set up and schedule. We use OBS for live streaming. We find that the time between when we push the "start streaming" button and when the stream actually shows up on our website is sometimes up to a minute. A little long, but not an issue.
Subsplash has been an incredible tool…
Subsplash has been an incredible tool for our church, allowing us to keep events, registrations, giving, media, and communication all in one place. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and has helped us stay organized and connected with our church family.
One area where we see room for improvement is user permissions. Currently, permissions are fairly limited, which makes it difficult to include all staff and ministry leaders as users without giving access to more editing capabilities than they should have. More customizable, role-based permissions would allow us to safely empower leaders while protecting content and settings.
Overall, Subsplash continues to be a valuable platform for ministry, and enhancements to user permissions would make it even stronger.
Did not deliver
The "promises" of the subsplash team did not come to fruition. Turns out all they are interested in is the "money". Read the other reviews, you will see, they only respond when a review concerns money.
If you are with a small church, keep it simple. Subsplash is far from simple. We share the pain of 90% of these one starr reviews.
This platform is no good for small churches! Their are cheaper options with better customer service and better results for small churches out there.
They promised an increase in almost "every" areas of church life. None of those promises came to fruition. Our young adults and teens, the "tech savy" generations are not even engaged with subsplash.
They engage with social media. The subsplash team promised an easy link and inclusion. Of social media and it never materialized.
A Costly Mistake for Our Church
I signed up with Subsplash in December 2019 after being promised that the $55/month plan would replace Planning Center and give our small church everything we needed. That promise was never met. Instead, every time a feature didn’t work, I was told I needed to upgrade. Our cost eventually climbed to $282.99/month, yet we still never received what was originally guaranteed.
Our church giving was never successfully migrated from Planning Center. Our Apple and Google apps were never functional at the same time. And every support request took a week or more to get a response, making it extremely difficult to run our ministry online.
Over nearly five years we paid close to $8,000 for a service that never delivered. When I tried to cancel, I was told I’d be charged another three months of fees—despite the long history of issues. Only after pushing back did they waive the cancellation fee, but they still refused any refund for the months we paid the highest rates while receiving incomplete service.
Subsplash consistently over-promised and under-delivered, and their pricing kept increasing without resolving the core problems. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company to any church looking for reliable tools or honest communication.
Couldn't be happier!
Couldn't be happier!
As a small, but fast growing small town ministry, we were looking for ways to better connect with our congregation and the community. The Subsplash platform helps us do that through all of the integration and tools that they make available. Their onboarding process, while intense, was especially helpful in getting us set up for success. We have seen greater interaction online, an increase in giving, and more interactions through social media. It also has given us the ability to produce high quality discipleship materials in a simple way through their Pulpit AI. We have just started using the check in feature through the events and keeping track of attendance is now also integrated into the system without an extra step on Monday morning. But of all the things that makes Subsplash worth every penny is having all of your ministry administration, giving, social media, events calendar, and web presence all in on place on one dashboard. No more jumping from this to that and needing to figure out how to have multiple websites or software programs integrate. That alone has saved us a ton of time and frustration. I would strongly recommend Subsplash to churches of every size, not just big, multi-staff, multi-site congregations on the cutting edge. But for sole pastor small congregations who are looking to simplify the difficult and sometimes overwhelming world of ministry in the digital age.
