I especially like the ability to draw contours by just dragging the mouse-cursor or apple-pencil. It's a life saver compared to free tools like VGG-VIA.

SuperAnnotate is a great platform for annotation and training, it reduces considerable time in the process of annotating images

Looked through half a dozen of annotation tools. This one was the most intuitive, the fastest, the most flexible. Judge: spent 3 days looking through others, Got up to speed and annotated 100 images on a free plan within an hour and sent the json file with the results to our developers. They have features that speed up annotations.

Our main consideration for a tool was something that could handle an extremely large data set with around a million to 2 million images. We have shortlisted a lot of tools but we ended up choosing super-annotate as it had an user friendly UX and very high rate of annotation. The way we have handled a team of 40-50 annotators was very easy and hassle free.

We have been using their platform for quite some time and I must take this opportunity to congratulate them for the kind of support they provide along with a fine platform that thrives to grow every single day.The support team maintains an availability around the clock as they have srategically place their offices in different time zones. SuperAnnotate is very adaptable. All the tools are very reliable and helps a project run smoothly. I love the frequent updates the comfortable shift to a new UI or feature immersion. Their smart segmentation work is awesome and reduces work for semantic-tier labeling more than 50% by my account.

In terms of speed, SuperAnnotate beats out most of the competitors in the space. I love their automatic segmentation tool.

Fully satisfied with SuperAnnotate's platform. Obvious advantages over other platforms particularly moving very fast and smooth during annotation work. From where I come from, the network tends to be a problem with frequent dips that rendered other platforms in the space along with image labeling work very hard. SuperAnnotate is amazing in the sense that it caches both server-side and individual machine data which saves me a lot of time.

SuperAnnotate is fast, have frequent updates, and easy to use. Wholeheartedly recommend this individuals and/or data labeling outfits. Users could literally feel how far the tool has come just months-in use due to the frequency of the updates they deploy.

Two of their integral features require special note. The first is the Smart Segmentation tool which helped us speed up our work signfiicantly - particularly useful for geospatial images and other semantic/panoptic segmentation work. The second feature is its workflow, enabling a step-by-step guide for annotators. Its amazing how such a simple tool minimized the time and potential for errors in labeling operations.

I tried the free desktop tool. It works really well! Pleasant, intuitive, fast, it can definitely serve for small to medium size projects, as advertised. The annotations are accurate, the .json format to save them is perfectly appropriate. I'll give it 5 stars when it is possible to annotate videos rather than just images. Great tool anyway!

I am a scientific researcher in the biomedical imaging community, and I can say first-hand that the SuperAnnotate platform addresses a significant pain point for computer vision researchers. Obtaining expert annotations is often one of the first steps for a medical imaging project. Previously, I had used different open-source or commercial tools, but I often had to cobble together more than one piece of software to get a complete annotation pipeline. This was the first platform I've liked that includes an integrated, streamlined workflow for easy-to-use annotation (with AI augmentation), quality control, as well as neural network training. The team is responsive to feedback to improve the platform, and there are new features that I have yet to try but I am very pleased with the service as is. Note: I have also left a similar review on G2.

Superannotate provides an online platform that represents a very powerful instrument for image annotation. It allows people to work together on the same project and check the quality of the annotations. Among the tools it provides, the “Smart Segmentation” option is excellent! It guides annotators during the labeling and speeds up the process a lot.

For our company, which specializes in ML solutions, we have tried several popular tools for image annotation/labeling, and SuperAnnotate had the easiest to use and the most relevant tool set for us. Particularly their automatic image segmentation is gold! It speeded up the process a lot. It's been more than a year we are using their services and we are very satisfied with it.
