We recently arranged care for my 95 year old mother by way of a 2 hour visit to prepare lunch and offer companionship for a few days while I, as her principal carer, was away. My mother was very pleased with the care that she received and enjoyed having the company during the day, saying that the lady was very calm and looked after her very well. The carer sent me regular updates by WhatsApp to assure me that mum was fine and I was very reassured by the care that she received. As this new addition to mum’s care proved so positive, I am planning to continue with the arrangement.

We called SuperCarers with an unusual request they had not had before. We were looking for someone with carer expertise to move into our loved one's home. His caring needs are not huge, but he needs someone around to help out and be there in emergencies and for a bit of company. The carer can continue her other jobs during most of the week and lives in nice accommodation in exchange. A house share, agreed between the carer and us, but with the guarantee that the lodger is qualified, trusted and vetted. SuperCarers was up for this new challenge and quickly found us just the right person. After 6 months, it feels like we have a trusted family member living with our relative, who looks out for him just as we would. Unlike us, she is a professional, with dementia care experience and we know that we can rely on her to deal safely and compassionately with any emergencies or problems that crop up. It has made a real difference to our sense of security and our relative's anxiety and loneliness, without the impossible costs of a full-time live in carer. We now only have to pay SuperCarers for the support she provides during the day time and in emergencies. Thanks Vanessa and team for making this idea a reality!

I have just returned from a 5 day stay at a holiday resort with day time care provided for my husband "A" by Ron Dando, through SuperCarers.

A and I had prior contact with Ron by phone and skype but met him for the first time as the coach arrived at the resort. I was supporting a group of 53 on the holiday, adults with a learning disability and volunteers to help them so it was busy from the start. Ron was an absolute godsend and he and A got on very well.

Ron gave A just the right amount of support, he was sensitive to A's Alzheimer's and was also able to give us some useful tips. He fitted in well with the group but took A off for walks when the group activities were not of interest to A. I felt completely relaxed that my husband was in good hands and safe, but what I loved was seeing A interact with others and the confidence the support gave him.

I was impressed that Ron honoured his commitment when it was arranged so far ahead and am very grateful.

I joined Supercarers last November and I am very impressed by the way they operate. I have been working in care for about 6 years and have worked for many Agencies/Care Companies in Domicillary care. The service & options delivered by Supercarers is so much better in that the client gets to choose their Carer rather than vice versa. More importantly it is more cost effective for the client & the carer. Client pays less than they would to a Care Compsny & the Carer gets a better wage.

fantastic level of care. Henry Byrne has been completely pivotal in my fathers ongoing recovery - we would not have managed without henry. Charles was super efficient in finding henry and has been extremely responsive throughout. I would have no reservations in recommending Henry ( but selfishly hope that he decides to stay with my father) and would happily recommend supercarers to friends. very accessible, easy to approach and professional, just what a busy daughter needs!

They are the most incredible company to work for. Salary always paid on time. Superb rates. Excellent communication and always there if i need to chat. Being a carer does not mean that things always run smoothly, and Supercarers are always here for me when I have a problem.

This company helped us at a really difficult time for our family in a sympathetic, efficient and professional manner. I cannot praise them highly enough, from the help of the telephone operators to their IT systems that deal with booking and payments. The way they operate makes you feel totally supported and my experience of the carers that I had contact with was that they were sensitive, professional and reliable. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again if ever we needed them.

My mum went from being totally independent to needing full-time live in care following a fall. I contacted a number of care agencies and Supercarers was by far the most helpful and reasonable cost wise. Having never done this before Vanessa was very helpful and patient and guided me through the process of selecting a carer. The carer we now have is conscientious, reliable, kind and professional. I highly recommend Supercarers. I like the fact that they are transparent about the costs and that carers can set their own fees.
