Bought an e-bike from Surge after hubby bought his from there. The service was fantastic, they couldn’t have done any more to help. Would definitely recommend buying a bike from there.

Helpful advice on the different bike options and able to test ride them. Good range of bikes - well-priced. Good customer service - delivered bike to my house, offered follow-up check up after 150 miles.

I bough a Tern GSD S00 about a year ago a SurgeBikes. Matt & the team had us over for an hour, a let us try all the cargo bikes that were available, and discuss pros & cons.
After settling on a Tern GSD, we were also able to benefit from SurgBikes offer of GBP500 of free accessories which we used to buy equipment to carry our toddler around (storm box & shield, child seat, and front rack).
The bike was delivered fully assembled and equipped a week later in London. I am very satisfied by Matt & the team services and will definitely buy my next bike with them!

Great E-bike shop. friendly and informative staff helped me decide on a Mondraker Prime 29. Very happy with the bike and the aftersales service is excellent! Would highly recommend these guys if you're looking for an ebike.

Fantastic service from start to finish. I was able to test ride a couple of bikes to ensure the sizing was correct and that it would meet my needs. My new bike was ready in no time at all and I was kept fully updated with progress. On collection day, the guys were so helpful in setting the bike up for me and explaining how things worked and maintenance etc. My Orbea Rise H15 has exceeded my expectations (after a week's mountain biking in Morzine) and this is all down to Surge ensuring it was right for me.

Excellent friendly service from Matt and all at Surge bikes. I paid for my new Orbea ebike on Monday and had it by Thursday ready to go and fully charged, out enjoying it in the evening!

Having done plenty of research ahead of my purchase, I visited in person and got excellent further advice and an immediate test ride of the bike that I now wanted to buy.

They made buying through the cyclescheme painless, even with the hassle and expense it causes the retailer.

I have been considering an ebike for some time. I wanted to increase my confidence in traffic (quicker pulling away from lights, and faster average speed with less effort), ride more off road and to tackle hills more enthusiastically.
I wanted to buy from a specialized ebike shop, and selected Surge Bikes for its choice of different models from different manufacturers, its reputation and its approach.
After exchanging a few emails to better understand the different options available I visited Surge Bikes unannounced. Matt was extremely helpful and asked me a few questions about the type of riding I planned to use the bike for without any pressure at all. Having explained the options he pointed me towards the Mondraker Dusty. After a short test ride I was blown away! Even better with the discount I was offered I was able to buy all those little extras a new bike needs.
2 days later I collected the bike (all set up and ready to go) and it is everything (and more) that I hoped it would be – it’s quick, reasonably light, comfortable, surefooted on road, towpath and bridleway. The 3 levels of assist are more than enough. Indeed on the flat level 1 is great and level 2 gets me up all my local hills. The range of the 1x gearing on the bike is plenty wide enough too.
I have no hesitation in recommending both Surge Bikes – for their service, expertise and attitude – and Mondraker – for making an excellent allrounder at a great price.

Surge were very helpful in setting me up with a bike - and at a good price. Would use them as my "go to" shop for any e-bikes related sales and service.

I bought a Tern Vektron S10 from Surge Bikes in July 2021 and the process was so good that I returned to buy a HSD P9 in May 2023. There can be no better recommendation than one from a returning satisfied customer.

With the Surge Boost this dealer offers the best deal you'll get in the UK and probably the best and least painful buying experience. If it were possible to add more than 5 Gold Stars I would. And the Tern HSD meets all my needs and then some and has an awesome hill-climbing performance.

Sensor issue with ebike; 15 months after purchase was dealt with expertly and while I waited- having driven a fair distance.
No charge for this excellent after sales service although the wonderful showroom nearly persuaded me to get the credit card out!
